5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: This card is fast, cheap and sleek, I was building a new gaming rig and looking to upgrade from a Radeon 6850 and I noticed this card with 4GB of RAM and at this speed and had to try it out. I have had absolutely no problems with it and it blows literally every single game i throw at it out of the water on ultra setting. I would expect a card like this to run $100 more than it was

Cons: I have yet to find a single thing about it I don't like

5 out of 5 eggsVery Fast Card

Pros: Fast: Huge upgrade over my X-fire 5770s. Plays Tomb Raider maxed out at >40fps. Benchmarked >30fps average on Unigine Heaven Ultra settings.

Cool: Hasn't broken 60c yet under load

Somewhat Quiet: Louder than my 5770s, but not by much. Fan nearly never kicks in over 20% while gaming. After reading reviews on the noise of these cards I was hesitant, but its really not that bad. Not silent, but not "loud".

One of the shorter 270x cards. I have a mid-tower antec 900 with six hard drives and it's crowded, but at least it fits. If I got one of the longer 270xs I probably would have had to move my hard drives.

Solid Build Quality

Cons: Not so great at overclocking: I was only able to get about 50mhz extra without it crashing with a full load. Not so bad as it is fast enough without OC.

Not sure if it is the card's fault, but recent benchmarks have had very low minimum fps scores. Don't really notice on-screen so its not an issue.

Was bottlenecked by my AMD Phenom II. Upgraded to i5-3570K and got a noticeable increase in performance. (I knew this would happen before-hand I was just curious. Obviously a processor 5 years newer is going to give a performance increase)

5 out of 5 eggsGood price for the performance

Pros: Aftermarket cooler that allows the card to run cooler and quieter. Nice upgrade from an HD 5870 1 GB card. Fits great in my HTPC case (Silverstone LC10-E). Came with Battlefield 4 and works great! Playing 1920x1200 on ultra settings without an issue. Was also able to test out Mantle and was pleasantly pleased with the minor increase in performance. Only costs $10-$20 more for the extra 2 GB of VRAM (at least for this brand/model).

Cons: Thanks to bitcoin/litecoin mining, had to pay a little extra for this card over the original MSRP.

Other Thoughts: Judging from the reviews I have read and my experience, if you are gaming at 1080p, this is the card for you. So far, Mantle is a nice free bonus. Still needs some work (and more games supporting it). Just wish AMD would have given the R9 270 series GCN 1.1 and True Audio, but oh well.

4 out of 5 eggsnot bad

Pros: it stays quiet and cool. about as fast as my 660ti on random benchmarks and games. also radeons aa processing seems cleaner than my nvidia cards with a more stable frame rate in general. i observe this on my smart tv in gamemode.

Cons: this model is advertised as oc friendly on the box.... sapphire you let me down on this one. even screwing around with the voltage i couldnt push this thing too far so i opted to leave to voltage at stock, the cores at 1150, and the ram at 1625. my gf has a sapphire 7850 with a dual x cooling solution running stable with both core and memory maxed out.

Other Thoughts: i got the 4gb version as a cheaper alternative to buying a firepro or quattro card for editing video. havent tested that quite yet tho but theoreticly it should do fine.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card for the price!!

Pros: Does great with bf4 on Ultra i get around 80-100 fps (mind you my resolution is 1440 X 900) I plan on upgrading my monitor soon so the fps will go down a little. It has great cooling i messed with the fan settings and it hasn't gone over 62C on massive loud. Its around 29C idle. If you are a gamer and aren't looking to have a TON of power and dont have a lot of money. Then this is the card for you!!

Cons: I wish the overclocking tool was better. I know i can get other Programs but i just don't like any of the programs out there. Trixx gets what you need done though.

Other Thoughts: You will be satisfied with this card!!

4 out of 5 eggsDefinitely Buying Another

Pros: In my experience with this card I've observed that it's fairly quiet (but my case also has noise dampening also) It handles BF4 like a champ, maxed out with about 60-70FPS. COD: Ghosts 60-65FPS after a few adjustments in the video options, (Very minor sacrifices in Video Options) Every game I've thrown at it so far it can handle and then some. I definitely want to buy another one and go Crossfire with my rig. Great price for it having 4gb GDDR5 256bit.

Cons: You will more than likely have to install the Beta Drivers for it to run without tearing. Have to run the Trixx software (downloadable from the Sapphiretech website) to increase the fan speeds so that it won't crash during gameplay. After you work out all the kinks it's a great card.

Other Thoughts: Wish I would have just waited to buy a console, PC gaming is just too expensive. Video cards that cost more than a whole console itself just to be able to play with a little bit better graphics than the consoles which games are designed around. Too late, so I'll just buy another one of these to Crossfire.

5 out of 5 eggsFlawless

Pros: The card is absolutely beautiful in design and quality. The Dual-X fans keep my card at very low temps and even when turned to 100% fan speed, they are still quiet. The 4Gb and the free Battlefield 4 really pulled me into buying this for my first custom gaming desktop. With Mantle released as well, you will see games being optimized with Mantle and running much smoother on this card than it's competitors. The card is also future proof because of the large amount of RAM it possesses and since the 270x has faster memory speeds than any other R200 Series Card, it's even better!

Cons: I truly do not have any cons when it comes to this item.

Other Thoughts: I bought this for my first Gaming Desktop. It runs very will with my FX-8320 CPU and my 8GB(4x2) ARES 2133MHz RAM all running on my MSI 970a_G46 Motherboard at very efficient speeds. If anyone is looking for a graphics card that is cost efficient and future proof, this is the card for you.
