The SAPPHIRE 100366-2L Radeon R7 260X is powered by AMD Radeon R7 260X, the latest AMD GPU designed to take your gaming to the next level. Based on AMD generation GCN architecture and boasting support for DirectX 11.2, the Radeon R7 260X is built to play the very latest games with perfectly smooth action, even at higher resolutions. New AMD Eyefinity Technology allows you to build three-monitor environment through just two DVI and one HDMI ports, without connecting DisplayPort which is required in HD 7000 series. AMD TrueAudio Technology brings your game to life by adding more realistic environmental dynamics, sound effects, and directional audio. A rich set of AMD innovative technologies are included, such as App Acceleration, AMD PowerTune, AMD ZeroCore, and AMD HD3D technology. With these technology advancements, you'll get more than one way to elevate your gaming experience.

  • newegg DirectX 11.2 The tessellation performance on AMD Radeon R7/ R9 series is up to two times faster than the previous generation, and DirectCompute performance is also faster to accelerate advanced post-processing, filtering, and anti-aliasing techniques. Direct X11 games have never looked this good.
  • newegg Mantle There’s optimization, and then there’s Mantle. Games enabled with Mantle speak the language of GCN architecture to unlock revolutionary performance and image quality. It’s a game-changing innovation developed by AMD.
  • newegg AMD TrueAudio Technology AMD TrueAudio technology brings the world’s first programmable audio pipeline marking a new frontier in realism for PC gamers. AMD TrueAudio technology empowers game developers with a programmable audio pipeline on the GPU, inviting them to put their unique artistic fingerprint on in-game audio in the same way that the programmable graphics pipeline brought unfettered artistic vision to PC graphics. Enabled games can feature more realistic environmental dynamics, a richer tapestry of sound effects, breathtaking directional audio and more. AMD TrueAudio technology enhances audio realism by simulating the human brain’s perception of real-world sound, working in concert with the user’s existing audio hardware to recreate a lifelike experience (on supported games).
  • newegg AMD PowerTune Technology AMD PowerTune is a breakthrough technology that sets an entirely new direction for maximum performance at TDP. It allows the GPU to be designed with higher engine clock speeds which can be applied on the broad set of applications that have thermal headroom.
  • newegg AMD Stream Technology Accelerate the most demanding applications with AMD Stream technology and do more with your PC. AMD Stream Technology allows you to use the teraflops of compute power locked up in your graphics processer on tasks other than traditional graphics such as video encoding, at which the graphics processor is many, many times faster than using the CPU alone.
  • newegg AMD App Acceleration AMD App Acceleration is a set of technologies designed to improve video quality and enhance application performance. Full enablement of some features requires support for OpenCL, DirectCompute, or DirectX Video Acceleration (DXVA).

5 out of 5 eggsXfire 260X OC

Pros: Running at 1207 core and 1600 memory clock the crossfire sapphires are killing it... i took my r9 290 when i picked up a couple of these bad boys used. I've been so impressed im here now typing about it. the 1080 gaming has been awesome seldom do i see frame rates less than 60fps. most games are played on high or ultra settings minus a few sketchy beta games and poorly optimized titles like vermintide. with only minor settings downgrades this card crossfire is giving just as a good a play experience as my 290x in 1080p.

Cons: Overclocking both cards is a bit of a chore, still worth it.

Other Thoughts: i picked these up used in a trade. I would def recommend them as a great 1080p gpu these puppies are solid! fans are pinned @ 80% while OC'd. i run at stock settings while im not gaming with variable fan settings. while gaming temps get around 72C not too bad.

5 out of 5 eggsAffordable and reliable.

Pros: This video card is good for playing your favorite games like mass effect, battlefield 3, 4 and hardline a fallout 3 and it can run fallout 4 but you may want to turn down the settings if you framerate starts to suffer other than that if you looking a for a affordable graphics card for a rig you're build then this is the one for you.

Cons: It takes up to slots due to its size (it covers one slot on my motherboard) But its understandable And not a problem to me.

Other Thoughts: If someone wanted to build a budget rig and they wanted a decent video card, I would point em out to this.
And i wouldn't use this again cause on my next build, i'll be using a better video card.

5 out of 5 eggsGood entry card

Pros: Very good budget card. Plays games somewhat well at 1080p. For $120 you can't go wrong. Overclocks a bit as well.

Cons: Don't expect to max settings in games with this card. Although it can handle well in older titles it just won't hold up to some of the newer budget cards that are coming out.

Other Thoughts: If you're looking for something you can play some games decently then this card is a decent buy.

4 out of 5 eggsgreat budget card

Pros: I bought this card for my first PC build and with me being on a budget this card was perfect. I've had it since April and so far its been great. I was able to play Bioshock Infinite and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Ultimate Edition on max settings.

Cons: As mentioned by plenty of people who got this card the drivers are a problem. It took me a little while to get them to install properly. But this was back in April and I haven't had any problems with driver updates so maybe they've been fixed?

Other Thoughts: If you're on a budget then I would recommend this card. If you're on a budget and you're building your first gaming PC like I was then I don't recommend this card due to the driver issues. I'd say its worth looking into to see if they've been fixed and if so then go ahead and get this card.

2 out of 5 eggsGood Card, Bad issues

Pros: Nice price
Decent specs

Cons: Constant crashes,
Bad driver Support
problems with heating
Can't get in contact with the developer

Other Thoughts: This card is a very unstable card, i would not recommend you buy this card. although the price is nice and the card's specs are great, the driver and heating issue makes playing games or doing anything with this card really bad. not to mention Saphire does not have a contact line, only a website ticket base that does not seem to work, so if you need to contact them, good luck.

5 out of 5 eggsNice little card

Pros: Multiple display types, Low cost, Good performance for the price a nice entry level card for a budget build.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This little guy surprised me. I'm not maxing out most games, but they are still nice looking and performing well. Coming from a laptop with integrated graphics I couldn't be happier.

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible Card

Pros: In theory and by looking at the specs this card would be great.

Cons: There are issues internally in this card, I believe it is not issues with the drivers, but in the card itself. I have an HD 6670 card that runs the exact same driver as this card and I have zero issues with that card, This card on the other hand, I can't get it to Not Crash my computer when I play a game. I got an RMA, only through NewEggs help and they sent another broken card that will not work in either of my computers. When I contacted them about the second card doing the same thing, they told me the issue is in my computer, uh no, no it's not. I have the previously mentioned 6670 card and an older nVidia card that both of them work perfectly in either computer but this Sapphire card will crash either computer after about 30 seconds into booting up ANY game. I strongly advise AGAINST getting this card, don't waste your money.

Other Thoughts: NewEgg was great in helping me get in contact with Sapphire, I just wish I had something that worked for the money I spent purchasing this card. Sapphire's customer service is minimal, and their concern for getting this customer a working product is nonexistent. Sapphire does Not care if you are satisfied much less happy, I wonder how they have stayed in business as long as they have when they alienate and frustrate their paying customers, then blow them off and tell them to Flash the card to possibly fix their obviously defective replacement card. I wish I could get a refund or a replacement that would actually work. This experience has shaken my loyalty to AMD and I will very seriously consider getting nVidia cards in the future. Stay away from Sapphire video cards, you will regret it, learn from my mistake.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for price

Pros: The graphics card has a deicent amount of power especially for a budget card
This card by far out preforms the nvidia gtx 750 especially if it is overclocked.
It is cheap at around 110 dollars
It has a display port

Cons: needs external power from the power supply (6 pin lead)
runs warm especially if overclocked
It has display port but cant run any games at 4k so you are better off using HDMI
A little on the bulky side

Other Thoughts: I think for the money this card is worth spending the extra $30 instead of buying something like the 250. Make sure if you buy this card to at least have 3 fans or keep one of your bay doors open. I would recommend this card to anyone learning how to build a pc
