1 out of 5 eggsThis has made me depressed..

Pros: it looked like it would play games nicely..

Cons: Ive had to return 4 cards that they sent to me as replacements. PAID 60$ SIXTY DOLLARS total shipping on the cards they sent me.(to ship back) None of them ever worked to play a game. you could install windows. install your drivers and games. then when you would try to play it would crash. Customer support at althon micro seems to not care at all about their jobs.

Other Thoughts: when they tried to replace the card the cs told me "they said tested working" when it left their facility..to me utter and complete fabrication. unless their test it to see if a led pops green for 10 seconds. but they assured me that its very technical including a stress test...this has made me very depressed..I wasted 150$ on this card plus the 60$ shipping..that would of been a very nice nvidia card..

5 out of 5 eggsVery Good GPU

Pros: I bought this card about 2 months ago, and man, does it pack a punch, I run this card OCed, to 1000mhz, and I never goes over 70°C, fan speeds never go over 50%, it handles GTA V with everything maxed out, 30-40 fps, with a Pentium G3258 @ 4.0ghz

Cons: Card is kind of loud, but since I always use headphones, not such a big deal...

Other Thoughts: So this card is still one of the best cards under 150$, even after a year and a half, this card still handles games.

2 out of 5 eggsHeater

Pros: The card works great when its cool. Its great at heating a small room....

Cons: The card though overheats even with its fans and two other fans blowing air right on top of it. This has translated to laggy video feed.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: - Great performance at 1080p
- Easy installation
- Drivers are great, very stable. No compatibility issues
- Best cost to performance ratio on the market in my opinion

Cons: - None so far

Other Thoughts: This is a fantastic card. It was designed for 1080p gaming at high settings and delivers on that front. I upgraded from an Nvidia GTX550Ti after it crapped out on me and decided to give this a shot. It's the first AMD card I've owned in years, so I was a little hesitant at first, but I've owned it for 6 months now and I can say with certainty that it's one of the best cards I've ever had.

The most demanding game I own is probably Crysis 3. I can run it on ultra settings @ 1080p and average around 30-40fps, which is perfect for me. I get about 60fps with everything maxed out on The Witcher 2 at 1080p. Games like Titanfall, Darksiders 2, Mortal Kombat X, Dishonored, Need For Speed Hot Pursuit, Sonic Generations, DOTA 2 & Batman Arkham City run at well over 60fps with everything maxed out @ 1080p.

This isn't the best option for gaming at 4K or higher resolutions, but if you're running games at 1080p, this is a rock solid option and should last a couple years before needing an upgrade (and you can always get a 2nd card and run in SLI to prolong the life)

Set up was a breeze and the drivers are running rock solid on Windows 8.1. My build is as follows:

Intel i5 processor
16GB RAM
250GB Samsung SSD + 1TB Western Digital 7200rpm HDD
Radeon R9 270

4 out of 5 eggsGood card for the price

Pros: Easy to overclock with TriXX utility

Stock voltage and overclocked to 1025 Mhz on the GPU is stable (for me anyways)

Great price

Can game at 1080p, but not really on ultra settings.

Cons: When I initially did the Medium benchmark in Heaven, there was some obvious coil whine when fps went above 60, so if you aren't running the card enough to stay under 60 fps, it'll probably bother you, turn up the graphics settings!

Other Thoughts: It is very easy to overclock with TriXX, it's completed back to back Heaven (basic edition) Extreme preset benchmarks with the gpu overclocked from 945 to 1025, left the voltage alone, and tinkered with the memory but that doesn't yield a lot, temps never went above 63 C, and on the Heaven Extreme preset it did around 37 fps on average.
Unstable at 1035 on the gpu.
(Your mileage may vary)

5 out of 5 eggsNice card

Pros: Thus far I've thrown ultra-HD skyrim at it w/ no performance problems (i'm talking lowest resolution being around 2k from armors that don't have higher available) and this thing tears through it. EverQuest, World of Warcraft, all ultra settings and maintaining high FPS constant.

Cons: A bit thick, don't get a small tower.

4 out of 5 eggsVery Happy

Pros: This is the first Sapphire card I've owned since my Radeon 9700 Pro, so its been quite some time, but is proving to be as great of a company as I remember. I've mainly played Borderland 2 and Evolve both @1080p on High and they run pretty well. Some slow down here and there in really intense fights, but overall runs like a champ. Low power consumption and price were my two biggest factors in making this purchase.

I haven't tried over clocking yet as I haven't had much reason to.

Cons: I wouldn't necessarily consider this a con, but the main reason I chose this over a R9 280 was the power requirements for the 280. I have a 500w psu which is just barely enough to power all my drives and the 270. For the price/performance ratio, I would have gotten a 280 if I wouldn't have needed to buy new psu.
