4 out of 5 eggsGood card for the price

Pros: Easy to overclock with TriXX utility

Stock voltage and overclocked to 1025 Mhz on the GPU is stable (for me anyways)

Great price

Can game at 1080p, but not really on ultra settings.

Cons: When I initially did the Medium benchmark in Heaven, there was some obvious coil whine when fps went above 60, so if you aren't running the card enough to stay under 60 fps, it'll probably bother you, turn up the graphics settings!

Other Thoughts: It is very easy to overclock with TriXX, it's completed back to back Heaven (basic edition) Extreme preset benchmarks with the gpu overclocked from 945 to 1025, left the voltage alone, and tinkered with the memory but that doesn't yield a lot, temps never went above 63 C, and on the Heaven Extreme preset it did around 37 fps on average.
Unstable at 1035 on the gpu.

5 out of 5 eggsNice card

Pros: Thus far I've thrown ultra-HD skyrim at it w/ no performance problems (i'm talking lowest resolution being around 2k from armors that don't have higher available) and this thing tears through it. EverQuest, World of Warcraft, all ultra settings and maintaining high FPS constant.

Cons: A bit thick, don't get a small tower.

4 out of 5 eggsVery Happy

Pros: This is the first Sapphire card I've owned since my Radeon 9700 Pro, so its been quite some time, but is proving to be as great of a company as I remember. I've mainly played Borderland 2 and Evolve both @1080p on High and they run pretty well. Some slow down here and there in really intense fights, but overall runs like a champ. Low power consumption and price were my two biggest factors in making this purchase.

I haven't tried over clocking yet as I haven't had much reason to.

Cons: I wouldn't necessarily consider this a con, but the main reason I chose this over a R9 280 was the power requirements for the 280. I have a 500w psu which is just barely enough to power all my drives and the 270. For the price/performance ratio, I would have gotten a 280 if I wouldn't have needed to buy new psu.

5 out of 5 eggsA seriously impressive mid-range card!

Pros: The dual-x cooler is seriously impressive. at 1050 mhz this cooler keeps my gpu at around 60 degrees C. awesome cooler, not too long, should fit in most cases and offers good performance at 1080p and excellent performance at 900p.

Cons: 2gb of ram was fine when this card came out, but now, you'll want more. the gtx 960 is way better than this card, if the prices are close go with that. Other than that, not much else to say.

Other Thoughts: this is a great card for what it is. get it while you can!

5 out of 5 eggsVery Happy

Pros: Very Very good for the price had it for a week now. This is my first pc build and im not to smart when it comes to building the pc but after some research was pretty simple and this card was very easy to install and set up. After you install everything it pretty much does everything for you or tells you a suggestion.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Im not sure if it came with any games or not but I don't think I received them or know how to Download them. If it did please let me know thank you

5 out of 5 eggsR9 270

Pros: For the price, I'm very happy with these cards. I have 2 in my computer and 1 in my wife's. With a single, they can run games like Skyrim at nearly max settings. With 2, I haven't found a game that doesn't run smooth as butter. 4K HD support is great, maybe I'll get to use it when 4K HD TVs stop being so expensive but they look great in 1080p.

Cons: Heat is my only real issue with these cards. With 2 installed, under load they run around 49-52*. I know that's not terrible, just a bit high for my taste. Definitely run a side case fan on your card(s) if you can. They will run hotter than that without a fan on them.

1 out of 5 eggsstill no reply from OEM

Pros: none due to failure and lack of support

Cons: It has now been a week and a half since I made my last comment, weeks since I contacted the manufacturer and they still refuse to return my calls to honor a refund THEY state goes with this card.

Other Thoughts: How can a company expect return customers, to stay in business, when its products break while under warranty, and when the customer reaches out to them for support, they refuse to even speak with the customer..

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Just about everything. It doesn't run hot for me, yet it's fast, with a good amount of g-ram for what I use it for, and it's quiet too, except under load it can get a bit loud, but with a headset on it's not noticeable. Can run the newest games like DA: Inquisition on all ultra settings without a problem, I get around 50-55fps. Works great with digital painting, and haven't had any problems with this one.

Cons: I did have to rma the first card I got though. It wouldn't display anything. But the fans spun. I'm giving it a 5 egg rating anyway, because I think it's a good card for the money and the time.

Other Thoughts: I'm hoping, though, that it lasts for quite a while, like my old 4870, had that thing for 7 years and it still runs great, but I had to upgrade, so from that to this, it was excellent and worth the upgrade to me.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent value

Pros: Low cost
Easy install
Decent frame rates

Cons: Not a pro-level card

Other Thoughts: Installed in an i7-950 unit in about 10 minutes. Zero install issues. Runs World of Tanks at max graphic settings at 40-60 FPS. Runs other games at similar frame rates.

1 out of 5 eggspoor customer service

Pros: do not buy

Cons: I purchased this card about a year ago, it sees about 5-10 hours a week of use. The card died for no apparent reason, and although it SHOULD and IS covered under the manufacturers warranty program (of 2 years), I have tried contacting them and they refuse to contact me back to repair or replace the card.

Other Thoughts: Unfortunately newegg only allows a 30 day return so I am forced to go through a manufacturer who does not support its product. Decide for yourself, but personally I dont have the money to just throw away on a card that was barely used, failed for no reason, and the company refused to support.
