The SAPPHIRE DUAL-X 100370L is powered by an AMD Radeon R7 265, the latest AMD GPU designed to take your gaming to the next level. Based on AMD generation GCN architecture and boasting support for DirectX 11.2, the Radeon R7 265 is built to play the very latest games with perfectly smooth action even at higher resolutions. New AMD Eyefinity Technology allows you to build a three-monitor environment through just two DVI and one HDMI ports, without connecting DisplayPort which is required in the HD 7000 series. AMD PowerTune technology redefines the nature of performance, giving you the performance you need when you need it. A rich set of AMD innovative technologies is included, such as App Acceleration, AMD ZeroCore, and AMD HD3D technology. With these technology advancements, you'll get more than one way to elevate your gaming experience.

  • newegg DirectX 11.2 The tessellation performance on the AMD Radeon R7/R9 series is up to two times faster than the previous generation, and DirectCompute performance is also faster to accelerate advanced post-processing, filtering, and anti-aliasing techniques. Direct X11 games have never looked this good.
  • newegg SAPPHIRE Dual-X Cooling Technology Dual-X is a highly efficient multi-heatpipe cooler with dual fans that provide quiet and very cool operation during normal operating conditions, and superb cooling performance even under extreme loads.
  • newegg Mantle There’s optimization, and then there’s Mantle. Games enabled with Mantle speak the language of GCN architecture to unlock revolutionary performance and image quality. It’s a game-changing innovation developed by AMD.
  • newegg AMD PowerTune Technology AMD PowerTune is a breakthrough technology that sets an entirely new direction for maximum performance at TDP. It allows the GPU to be designed with higher engine clock speeds which can be applied on the broad set of applications that have thermal headroom.
  • newegg AMD Stream Technology Accelerate the most demanding applications with AMD Stream technology and do more with your PC. AMD Stream Technology allows you to use the teraflops of compute power locked up in your graphics processer on tasks other than traditional graphics such as video encoding, at which the graphics processor is many, many times faster than using the CPU alone.
  • newegg AMD App Acceleration AMD App Acceleration is a set of technologies designed to improve video quality and enhance application performance. Full enablement of some features requires support for OpenCL, DirectCompute, or DirectX Video Acceleration (DXVA).

1 out of 5 eggsBad experience

Pros: While it worked, it worked beautifully

Cons: Very hot card - idle temperatures are often around 40 - 50C, quickly caused artifacts and glitches within 2 to 3 hours after install

2 out of 5 eggstenperature

Pros: great card for the price just too many problems when it comes to overclocking and gaming

Cons: it runs HOT. playing csgo it will throttle A LOT with OSD saying all the way down to 450Mhz 12 times a minute. my memory clock is only at 1500MHz for some reason as well. furthermore, the fans do not apin according to the temperature so my card runs at a constant 70C while running the lightest games and 75C while on BF4 and EVEN cs go. definately going for a higher end card or an nvidia card next time

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: Wouldn't know, didn't work.

Cons: Dead on arrival. Product did not function when placed into my build. I am very disappointed as this should not happen. I will be seeking a refund for the product.

4 out of 5 eggsNice mid level card

Pros: Great value. While not the utter fastest card on the market today (June 2014), it hits a sweet price/performance spot. Ordered on a Friday and delivered Monday with normal shipping!
I only have a 60 Hz monitor, and this card allows me to run my games at 60 FPS with all, or nearly all, the 'eye candy' settings maxed out. This includes Thief, Skyrim, Remember Me, Tomb Raider, Oblivion, Civ 5, and Witcher 2. Also doesn't seem to have a problem with older titles like Baldurs Gate 1 and 2, Torchlight, Portal, and Galactic Civilizations.

Cons: First night, it had artifacts after about 30 minutes of gaming. It's been four more days and no problems since then. I think it was a setting in a game, not the card.

There are so many variables between the hardware, the driver (ATI Catalyst), and the game that its easily a few hours of study to figure out the best settings these days.

Other Thoughts: Remember to UNINSTALL the ATI drivers before swapping. I just pulled my HD6870 and dropped in this R7 265, and got all kinds of errors. Unistall/reinstall the drivers fixed everything.

1 out of 5 eggsWorked... kinda

Pros: Runs everything I threw at it like a boss, little stutter here and there and some frame rate drops but there is a reason behind it(in the cons)

I ran Guild Wars 2 max settings in WvW and didn't stutter or drop below 30 fps.

I mostly play MMOs and Warframe/single player games. So it runs it really well

Cons: This thing runs hot, by hot I mean melt the card hot. I literally pulled the plug on my computer because I smelled melting plastic and opened my case, first thing I placed my pointer on was my graphics card. I now have a second degree burn on it.

Other Thoughts: I keep my house at a constant 67F, I have airflow out the max in my case. The internal temperature of my case is 72. yet while playing Guild Wars 2, in a low density area with nothing go on, my computer shuts off. So now, instead of just replacing my card. I now have to replace my motherboard as well because it muffed my slot up. So yeah RMA is going to happen right after I move.

5 out of 5 eggsexcellent upgrade

Pros: installed easily, tweaked settings, rebooted and was wowed. Great value at the price.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: Shipping to SoCal is always great w/NE. I clicked "purchase" at 5:30 local time on friday the 23rd of May knowing it's a 3 day holiday, so I didn't expect the card to ship until tuesday the 27th. It arrived at 10 am on the 27th.
Used it to upgrade my 17 yr old sons' gaming machine. He was still running my ATI 5678 card on an Athlon II/Gigabyte system. PCI 2.0 and this card works perfectly. I have a core i-5 system with a 660ti card and both are flawless. The R7 265 is obviously newer and better, but we are happy with both systems.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks As Intended

Pros: The SAPPHIRE DUAL-X Radeon R7 265 does exactly what it should and the dual fans keep the card nice and cool.

Cons: I'm a little disappointed that I had to pay the full retail price for this GPU on Newegg.

5 out of 5 eggsMonster In A Box!

Pros: I put it in a PC about 9 years old and I've ran all the games I have on ultra high or high setting, Most of my game are unreal 3 engine games, except payday 2 I got that free with this card. Highest setting on it as well, vsync'ed at 75Hz. Not a hitch not a shutter what so ever. I was pretty amazed it isn't pushing this card to max as my mobo is just 2.0 x16 my cpu is old Athlon x2 6400+ - 64Bit That says alot, this card in lowest of low spec maxing games you know you got a good card! I only seen slight improvements in guild wars 2 but that game is more needy on the cpu than gpu any MMO will be. Runs very cool under very high loads. This card is worth more than the price tag I recommend you get it if you need a cheap upgrade Got mine on mothers day weekend price tag was only $149 so I got luckier than some will.

Cons: It can get loud if the fan hits 100% the fans are hitting about 6000 RPMs @ 100% But to me that is not something I worry about my a/c is louder and in the same room adjacent to me You wont hear that card if you use headphones.

Other Thoughts: I upgraded from a 4670HD I knew if my mobo and CPU wouldn't bottle neck me to much it would do well, just not this well. I was very very surprised at the frames per second increase I got in all my games. Most games before i was running at lowest possible setting and resolutions which was 1024x768 @ 75Hz barely grabbing 40 FPS Now they are at max settings resolution of 1280x1024@75Hz (which is high as my LCD goes) capping at 60-75 FPS it probably can go higher but I'm vsync'ed.
