5 out of 5 eggsNice card for the money

Pros: Replaced an HD5870 I bought on here years ago for less than half the cost, the 6970 is faster and has more memory. Installed with no problems, comes with the card and CD,that's it. The fans aren't any louder than my previous card.

An all around good card, very happy. Got mine for 89.99 plus shipping.

Cons: None

3 out of 5 eggsNot sure if I got a faulty card or not

Pros: So this card works great for me when I play elder scrolls online or archeage was a much needed upgrade to my 6850.

Cons: But when I play league of legends this card is crashing for some reason, the only way I have found to fix it is by lowering my clocks in the catalyst center so I wasn't very pleased about that.

Other Thoughts: Cheap card, prolly got what I paid for don't know if I'll rma it or not as it works for most things but still has weird crashes.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat, but needs lots of power.

Pros: - Managed to overclock to max for both the core and memory clock on AMD's Catylist program.

- It could handle +20% on power, but only needed 9% to get a perfect and solid stream for processing everything.

- Cheap, got it for $100 (before MIR).

Cons: - It killed my old 3 year old 575w (cheapo brand) power supply.

- It's quiet enough, but once you start playing anything hardcore it tends to rev up moderately.

Other Thoughts: - It's now being fed by a COOLMAX ZX 600W and does more than just fine.

5 out of 5 eggsGiant step up

Pros: This is the GPU deal of 2015. This has increased my game play. Granted I am coming from a EVGA GTS 250. Yes that card has seen better days. I was Leary on buying an older card like the 6970 but that fear has been laid to rest. This is a great budget card.

Cons: No complaints. Smooth as silk.

Other Thoughts: Bought mostly to play Cities: Skylines. Runs the game maxed out.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat budget graphics card

Pros: Has 2 GB of GDDR5 ram, perfect for 1080p gaming. Also has a 256 memory bus, which is really nice. Lots of stream processors. Really a great all around card.

Cons: Maybe just a bit on the power hog side, but that can be avoided with a good psu.

Other Thoughts: I've been using this card for almost 5 months now, no complaints. Running this with a 4 core amd processor, super fast in all the games I play. Great deal for only $100. Will definitaly go with Sapphire Graphics cards again. Again, really great graphics card.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid budget card

Pros: I got this for 100 dollars. It's 95 bucks as I write this. For this price (in 2015), it's one of the best values for video gaming horsepower (but there are some trade-offs). It is an older card (q4-2010), but it was high end when released and performs well (60FPS) @1080p with current games (GTA5, witcher 3) with low/medium settings. You will not find a card that performs this well for less money unless you go used. (for now, 2015)

It looks decent. It's a little bit plasticy but for this price range, that is a great cooler.

Cons: Because this card was high end when released, it's a power hungry beast. Because it's power hungry, it also expels a fair bit of heat. You need a good power supply (500w or better) that preferably has it's own PCI-e power plugs. You also want a case with good airflow (not a Dell/HP, etc) or it will get loud.

It isn't particularly quiet even with a good airflow but it's not outlandishly loud.

AMD drivers are mediocre at best. We also just had a 6 month gap between driver releases. That's terrible compared to Nvidia's cycle and stability.

Other Thoughts: It performs well with current games (but if you want to run max settings at 60FPS @1080p+, look elsewhere and prepare to spend 2-3x as much).

It was a solid choice for a friend's budget build. Personally, I'd still spend a few bucks more ($20?) and grab a GTX750Ti. Well worth it. This will do though. :-) (I run a GTX970 myself)

4 out of 5 eggsBest bang for your buck

Pros: Great card - as stated below even though its a bit older it still plays todays games great. Witcher 2, 3, both looking good in 1080p (mid-settings for witcher 3). 7.8/10 with rice, would buy this card again if i needed a reliable beast.

Cons: Unfortunately there seems to be a common problem - as stated in other reviews it has a disconnect issue when it gets too hot, monitor will show as no signal. Strange issue, but as long as it stays cool it should be fine.

Other Thoughts: I recommend this card to any person looking to build a mid-range gaming/business PC. You save lots of money and get everything you need in one package. AMD drivers are top notch (these days anyway), and the dual-x fans keep it nice and cool.
