4 out of 5 eggsDoes what is should - a little loud though.

Pros: Fast. Plenty of cooling. Attractive. Seems to be high quality.

Cons: A little noisy. Almost too big for my case. Only 1 rebate per household (I purchased two).

Other Thoughts: Caught this during a major sale and can't believe the price I paid! Will be a card I can use for years.

This on run smooth perfect with Hdmi cable
Runs all game don' worry , forget about other saying its for older game, it is not!!

Cons: This card is huge! make sure you have place in your case before buying.

Take alot of power, you need at leat a 600W Power supply to run it.

Other Thoughts: For that price you cant beat this trust me

5 out of 5 eggsFits Older Dell Dimension 9100

Pros: -Great value considering high level of performance
-Works in an old Dell Dimension 9100 with stock PSU and PCIe x16 1.0 slot.

Cons: -Power Hog

Other Thoughts: -Boots and works on a stock Dell Dimension 9100 with stock 375W PSU. It's large physical size fits with plenty of space, though you will have to remove the side piano bracket on the case (hinged, blue plastic arm supporting the case and CPU fan assembly). Easy removal, just pop the base of the arm out of it's hinged bracket.

-Great card with no issues; however, if you are installing in a old Dell Dimension 9100 with stock 375W PSU, note that you will need to utilize both the stock 6-PIN PCIe power connection already directly wired to the stock power supply and the included MOLEX to 8-Pin Adapter connected to the MOLEX power connector marked 'P10' coming from the stock PSU. This is stated in the service/owner's manual (guessing it has something to do with the +12VA and +12V B rails.

-*IMPORTANT NOTE* Though the card boots and works after the install, it will cause brown out issues if used at high loads. For example, though it will run office applications, web browsing, SlingPlayer, WMP, VLC Media at 1080p and similar less GPU intensive stuff with no problem, it will cause a brownout and safety shutdown of the PSU when completing the graphics portion of the Windows Experience Index test.

Annoying, yes, but the computer can easily be restarted by unplugging power cord and plugging back in, there is no evidence of power supply damage when this occurs.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Value

Pros: Run games nice with no lag at all. Great for older motherboards. I am running an Intel Core2 Quad 9550 Oc'd to 3.5 GHZ. with OZC 16 GB of DDR 2 RAM . It flies on a 5 year old System.

Cons: You need a big case to use this card It is huge!!

5 out of 5 eggsLovin it... wow!... Thanx Sapphire!

Pros: 1536 Stream Processors for $80.00...

You are not going to beat that!

Cons: At this price... NONE

Fans do get a little loud, I control the fan speeds with MSI Afterburner, I can barely hear them now. Temps top out at 71 degrees during heavy action scenes. Runs @ 68 degrees at normal gaming mode.

Other Thoughts: If you want the biggest baddest card out there this is not it. But in all fairness this card does not cost $300.00 to $600.00.

If you are looking for a superb card at a budget price, this is it.

I play Farcry 4 on Ultra settings and runs smooth as silk.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Price to Performance Ratio

Pros: I was browsing video cards on Newegg and stumbled across the 6970. Paid less than the current listed price making a card of this caliber an absolute steal. Easy install. CD wasn't warped but get the latest AMD drivers and control panel from AMD anyway. The card handles Dragon Age Inquisition on a mix of Ultra and High settings by default. Couldn't tell you the frame rates but plays as smooth as butter on default settings. The card is actually quieter than I expected but I stepped down from two noisy 6870s in crossfire. Micro stutter made DA:I and other games unplayable so I went the single card route. Make sure you have at least a 750 watt PSU with an 8 and 6 pin power connectors. If you lack the connectors, Sapphire provides adapters in the box. This is a long card so make sure you have the case to accommodate it.

Cons: None really except Newegg didn't do their usual bang-up job of packaging the card in the shipping box. Rather than shroud the retail box in packing material before putting it in the shipping box, Newegg elected to lay just a single layer of packing material over the top of the retail box and no protection on the bottom. Fortunately the package arrived in good shape and hadn't been crushed.

Other Thoughts: I can't stress enough the price to performance ratio. Even at the current price you can't go wrong if you have the case and PSU to accommodate this card. Not as powerful as two 6870s in Xfire but no microstutter issues either.
