GECUBE R9250PCI-D3 Radeon 9250 256MB 128-bit DDR PCI Video Card
- Pros: Easy to instal
- Cons: This worked great for about 12 hours, actually I didn't use my computer for 12 hours straight, more like 1 or 2 hours. Lets put it this way I started getting bunch of red blinking dots on my screen after 2 hours, had to remove the card and now my screen is all normal. Very disappointed with this card. I'm returning this on Monday, since Newegg offices are close on the weekend. I will lose money on shipping this item, lets hope I get my full refund from Newegg. I hate to shutdown and open my PC over and over cause of this cheaply made card. My PC probably lost a good % of it's life cause of this card.
- Other Thoughts: Don't waste your money on this card or you will be sorry. Get yourself a more expensive card, that's what I'm planning to do as soon as I return this cheaply made card.
- Pros: Works better than the onboard video that I was using before.
- Cons: Bought it for a World of Warcraft machine. That is all I do on this machine. Not impressed with the results of this card. Unfortunately, I am using a Dell Optiplex so there is no AGP or PCI-E slot on this motherboard. I was stuck having to buy a PCI card.
- Other Thoughts: If you are in my boat and need a little bit more video, this card would be sufficient. I wouldn't expect too much out of it though.
Clumsy setup, but works
- Pros: This card gave some funny video problems when setting it up, such as not displaying any video, or displaying video out of sync or out of range, or just plan mest up, But after some playing and configuration it setup fine. It scares me a bit, but it seems to work thus far.
- Cons: its a pci card, doesn't seem to perform all that well, a Geforce 2 Mx 440 seemed better then this card.
- Other Thoughts: I would only buy this card if you had a computer that yor are not going to play games on, and that has a motherboard that DOES NOT have a AGP or PCI-E Slot, otherwise it is a joke of a card.
