5 out of 5 eggsBANG FOR BUX

Pros: running dual monitors is cake for this card. The card is a beast stacking up against newer cards easily in the price/power ratio. Although I am running older games I was very pleased at the ease it ran games at full settings in 1080p.

Cons: it is loud most all the time, but as long as it stays cool I could care less. The card is massive, well rather the shroud is massive. I have heard of others removing the shroud in order to access certain functions such as sata ports and such.

Other Thoughts: AMD II X3 435 2.9
4gb DDR 1333 10600 Crucial ballistix
23" samsung 2333HD @ 1080p
250gb Sumsung SATA
Gigabyte GA-MA785GMT-UD2H

5 out of 5 eggsThe POWER, THE POWER!!

Pros: Haven't tried the Physx capability on it yet. I have an AMD QUAD core phenom, fast HD, Vista 64, 8 GB Ram, and a beautiful girlfriend who is amazing. This video card pleases all of those very well.

Cons: NONE MASTER YODA

Other Thoughts: Just bought my 26 inch beauty, can't wait.

Manufacturer Response:

Stupendous! Glad you like the card.

3 out of 5 eggsGood card

Pros: Great video card.

Cons: Not sure if I don't know enough about it, but I'm having problems with some of the drivers on Win 64bit. Also the card is really big, make sure you have a big case.

Manufacturer Response:

I've noticed some issues with the latest NV drivers. Try rolling back one version and see if that helps you.

Thanks for going Palit!

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Amazing speeds, great reliability, currently running Fallout 3 on high, with 4x Anti Aliasing on a 1940x700(?) desktop. Plays beautifully

Cons: Noisy, gets hot after about 5-6 hours of strenuous usage. Takes 1 PCI E-16x slot, but consumes enough space to need 2.

Other Thoughts: Thinking about running it with a water cooling block

Manufacturer Response:

Water cooling rocks! Danger Den is my personal favorite.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty Happy, But its not perfect!

Pros: Great graphic performance and perfect for HTPC for my needs. I love the multi-output options.

Cons: HDMI audio is not working via SPDIF connection from motherboard to graphics card. I know how to properly connect the cable as I have done it before on a different card and it worked fine. So the problem is definetly with this graphic card.

Other Thoughts: Overall its a great card. I wont need the SPDIF to HDMI audio forever, as I am waiting to get a nice sound card.
BUT the feature is there and it should work!

Manufacturer Response:

Please check to make sure you have digital audio output enabled in both Windows and your audio device's software.

If that doesn't fix it feel free to return it to us for replacement.

5 out of 5 eggshttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=14-261-013

Pros: Looked great!! I had to return for RMA cause I didnt do enough investigating, It was TOOO BIG for my tower!
Funny. RMA was a breeze. Fast. Make sure if you need to RMA you dont tear up the package too bad or anything else , so you can return item as recieved.

Cons: Wish I could have made it fit...

Other Thoughts: Will not buy again until sure right item to purchase.

Manufacturer Response:

I'm sorry you had a problem with the size. While the card adheres to the PCI-e specification, not all motherboards do for some reason. I think it's just because video cards have only recently started using up the full amount of space allowed by the spec.

I'm glad your RMA process was easy. Go Newegg!

5 out of 5 eggsBlazing Fast

Pros: WOW! What a jump from a single 7950! I now have two of these in SLI. I can run all of my games with the settings maxed out, and my FPS only falters when I am running a hefty background process while gaming. I know I did not do a huge upgrade (perhaps from my old ATI 9600), but it is very noticeable, nonetheless. The cards are really quiet in SLI. The cards fit fine in my case (ANTEC P182, barely fits with fans in upper hard drive bay). They are a bit hot, like people have said, but they look AWESOME (I think the frog is almost cute). Overall, I would say this is a very good purchase because of the price and it is 1GB, 9600, and Tomb Raider Anniversary (which I will probably never play)

Cons: SLI driver is REALLY a pain to install on ubuntu. The fans are loud without SLI, and I never use Linux anymore because it is too loud

There is no artifacting like some people have said
I wish I could play Crysis in DX10 with XP. :(

Other Thoughts: I bought 2 at once for SLI (Not advisable). This was pretty risky because I was also fairly unsure of whether or not both my PCI-E slots were 2.0 (1 is x16, the other x8, so it runs at x8). also I was scared when I first installed them on my motherboard because It just had a long beep when I turned on the pc. A CD audio plug was just in the way of the PCI-E slot, and didn't leave enough room for these 2 slot graphics cards. I just had to rip out the audio input--who needs it anyways?

SYS info --Core 2 duo 2.4 ghz, 3 gb memory (actually 4) XP (limits memory) 5400 windows drive, but 7200 for games,900 watt psu, and now 2x9600GT --mostly bought on newegg

Manufacturer Response:

Slamming!!!!!

Yay, another out of spec mobo. Very frustrating from our end I can assure you.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Video Card!!

Pros: 1GB Ram, Great Price. 5.9 experience on Vista Ultimate.

Cons: Not really a con but is a big card.

Other Thoughts: For some reason I don't get audo through the HDMI cable. I am using this motherboard: ASRock A780GXE/128M AM2+/AM2 AMD 780G ATX AMD Motherboard. The SPDiF cable is connected to the motherboard and I choose the Digital Output on windows but no hope. I also connect red part of the SPDIF cable to the SPDIF pin and the black part of the SPDIF cable to the Ground pin. Still not hope, I am not sure if the card is bad or my motherboard is somewhat not compatible. Everything is new; motherboard, cpu, video card. etc...

Manufacturer Response:

It sounds to me like you've done everything correctly. Instead of enabling digital out in Windows could you try to enable it in the software that came with your card?

If that doesn't work it's either the mobo or the card. Feel free to return the card for replacement if you still can't get it working.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product

Pros: Great price for the product you are getting. I have a 680W Power supply and I have 2 of these cards in an SLI config and I am sure I am near maxing the PS out, I do not have any issues running it at the moment.

Cons: SIZE....so far this is the only draw back for me. On my ASUS A8N SLI Deluxe moboard I would have to remove the top board to remove my RAM and all of the SATA connectors are under the 2nd board with a pretty hard angle on the connector when the card is fully seated.

Other Thoughts: I upgraded from a Geforce 7600 and did a 3DMark test and 1 of these cards nearly Quadrupled my FPS , I have not run the test with both cards in an SLI configuration, but so far I have zero complaints about this board other than the size

Manufacturer Response:

Great! Thanks for buying a Palit card.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This card gets a little warm but in my large ATX case i have excellent airflow so not a big deal for me. Card works great I have Vista Premium 32bit, AMD 64 3.0 Ghz Dual Core, 3 Gigs DDR2 533 Mhz, this video card and 2 WD 320 Gig SATA HDD and I run Crysis on High at 1680 X 1050 with acceptable frame rates jumpy here there but all in all good, more memory would probably help workin on it. But great card, out performed my 7950GT 512.

Cons: Gets a little warm but with good air flow it's not a problem. Didn't come with a second 1. >:)

Other Thoughts: I've played around with this card for about 6 months now and the only game it didn't perform the way I wanted it to was Crysis, everything else was awesome. Could use an external exhaust.

Manufacturer Response:

Crysis is a beast!

Glad you like the card.
