5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Card

Pros: I've had this card for over a year now and it has performed reliably the whole time. The fan makes very little noise and seems to be of good quality. I'm using this card with a 300w power supply and there has never been a problem. The temperature seems to max out around 75c when playing high end games like Crysis, but this card is rated to work until it reaches around 105c, so overheating has never been a problem.

Cons: This card is for those of you who want a machine with low power consumption. It will not run Crysis on very high (more like high with some medium mixed in), but it will run almost any other game very very well. Other than that I have not run into anything else.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card For Cheap Gaming!

Pros: This card is quiet and uses almost no power. It also can run most of my games at reasonable settings at 1080p. I've played Bad Company 2, Modern Warfare 2, Black Ops, Left 4 Dead, and GTA and almost all of them can run at 1080p with some of the settings turned down. Don't plan on playing Crysis on this thing, but it will get the job done.

Cons: Nothing

4 out of 5 eggsnew Dell upgrade

Pros: Easy, smooth installation; no problems.

Increased the graphics rating on my new Dell Inspiron with integrated graphics, from 4.8 to 6.9.

Quiet operation; only a slight hum at times.

Performs flawlessly with the original 300 watt power supply; runs cool.

Cons: None to date.

5 out of 5 eggs{SUPER} GeForce GT 240 w/1GB RAM[GDDR5]

Pros: Vista System rating overall went from 4.8 -to- 5.6 (big jump!)
3D score in that went from 5.6 -to- 5.8

Perfect & easy replacement of original stock 8500GT w/256 RAM {DDR2}

NO extra external p/s connector needed!

Low cost upgrade replacement of stock card.

I love it!!!

Cons: I needed to reset the GPU fan speed. Dynamic, it didn't speed up as I felt it should during 3D gaming, and got too hot. Used vTune to set to 61% manual, and it now runs perfectly.
(Minor detail.)

Noise is minimal.

Other Thoughts: This card replaced an 8500GT w/256MB-RAM {DDR2}in a Gateway Desktop [GM5632E]

Ran DriveCleaner.net to TOTALLY clean out ALL old drivers and reg entries, installed card, updated to latest drivers, and all is much better now!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat mid-range card for media center and mid-end gaming

Pros: Quiet, low-power, 1 GB card, HDCP ready, and slightly overclocked by manufacturer

Cons: No Starcraft 2 coupon when I bought it like there is now.

Other Thoughts: I have this in my bedroom PC that I use for just about everything including home theater-type usage and some gaming. I don't mean Crysis at super-high resolutions, but it's mainly run Star Trek Online at 1280x1024. I played that game for about a month on my 8400GT before I upgraded to this card. Wow, what a difference! What used to be a fog at the edge of my field of view turned into a gorgeous star field. The planets that used to all look the same now look unique and crisp and gorgeous. It also makes Batman Arkham Asylum run at great frame rates.

As for the home theater uses, I run Boxee with it all the time. I've got my TV hooked up through the DVI and a really long audio cable since my cheap TV only has one HDMI port already being used. Works great though. 720p looks pretty darn good through it.

My Other Specs:
AMD Phenom II X3 720
4GB DDR2
460 Watt PSU

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing!!

Pros: Awesome card for the money hands down!! Couldn't find a better deal unless it was illegal..LOL

My windows video rating went from a 2.6 to a 6.8 after I dropped this baby in there. Have not played a game yet I couldn't play on full grfx settings :)

Unless your just a sheep who has to spend 400 dollars on a card just to say you have one, save some bucks and grab this card up!!

The bonus software/game downloads were a nice bonus as well!!

Cons: Does eat up 2 slots and covers up one of my pci slots (but I dont care). The fan is perhaps a tic loud pending on your noise preference levels. By loud I do not mean like a crazy loud fan sound...mine is more of a higher pitched wiring kind of sound.

Other Thoughts: Love it!! Have a lower version palit card in my kids computer and that still runs games solid at medium settings. As long as the performance stays with this brand and the cards show some life span I have become a fan of these folks and will be a repeat buyer. No need to over spend to get performance!!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Form factor is OK for HTPC but with the fan it does take up two slots. Even though this isn't considered a silent card the fan is quiet enough that I never hear it when playing movies. This thing so far has hardware accelerated every H.264 file I have thrown at it. Blu-ray playback is also rock solid. I bought this card solely for a HTPC so I can't speak about gaming performance.

Cons: None so far other than nvidia needs to get the drivers right.

5 out of 5 eggsLoved it

Pros: Really fast install with newest downloaded drivers from Nvidia site. I popped this in and was totally ready to go in less than 10 minutes. I play WoW, yeah not the highest demanding game, but I was getting slow FPS and video lag in big fights with my 512MB ATI 3650, so I upgraded to this. I turned up all the effects and went to 4x filtering and 1680x1050 res. The details were significantly better and the performance was way up there, no lagging whatsoever regardless of what battle or raid I was in. For the price it cant be beat. I am sure it can play other games at reasonable FPS.

Cons: The only thing I did not like, and this is extremely minor.... the second vented slot on the mount pane doesnt really vent directly. I had an older x850XT with the same back pane, and the fan was molded in such a way that all the hot air exited the case via direct vent. This one, the air is not directed out the vent.

Other Thoughts: kinda plain looking but highly functional

4 out of 5 eggsGood, but not great.

Pros: Installation is quick and easy. All you need to do is install the card into your PC and install the drivers from the driver disc, and you're done. I had no problems with the drivers or their compatibility with my operating system (Windows XP Service Pack 3)

This card really surprised me at how well it allowed me to play games. It plays pretty much everything I throw at it on high and still gets 30+ FPS.

Ever since I replaced my old GeForce 8400GS with this card, my brother has been telling me of the high framerates he's getting in World of Warcraft. Before he'd get 20FPS in Dalaran (one of the most populated cities in the game), now he gets 160+ FPS there.

Cons: No DirectX 11 support
Cannot SLI two/three cards
Some occasional driver errors when used on Windows 7

Other Thoughts: This is a nice card if you're not going to play the latest games on high with 16X Anti Aliasing.

It'll let you play most games on high, but if you're looking for something for a "hardcore" gaming rig, keep looking.
