3 out of 5 eggs50/50

Pros: Its fast and has HDMI output

Cons: The fan inside it destroyed itself and now I only have 2 fins on it. Like the heat sink or something might of warped. Also it barely fits in my case cause of the plastic case getting in the way. Its good for power but its been giving me problems since day one

1 out of 5 eggsRobbery

Pros: 2gb, Might be good for photoshop???

Cons: Worst heatsink i have seen on any gtx 460, and to top it off there is no ram heatsinks. =( I really wish I could get my money back but it has been way too long. when I got this card i paid 260 and for that price i could have gotten a much better radeon.

Cant Oc over 800mhz, ram will not overclock at all.

Other Thoughts: It took a while for me to figure it out how horrible this card way this is what happens when u dont do enough research. they prey upon the idea that 2gb of memory is worth an extra 50 bucks when infact i does not help hardly at all with video games. With the low grade componets and lack of ram heatsinks this has felt like complete robbery. Palit wants to cheap out and save money then charge u more. I would hate to see what would happen if i had a problem with it dont think they would honor thier warranty after seeing the way they make thier cards.

Dont buy one, they are trash

3 out of 5 eggsDon't Buy

Pros: OverClocks well.

Cons: Runs Hot. Cheap heatsink shroud. Fan broke into peices randomly. Tried to rma it but palit refused. Just get a car from evga with lifetime warranty. I've rmaed several cards through them without a hitch. ( Has a computer fan hooked zip tied onto the h/s now and it actually works better)

2 out of 5 eggsDon't buy

Pros: Very fast!
2gb way more than enough.

Cons: Cooler sucks! It cooled when it did work. Fan started making noise. temps jumped from high 50c to high 80c on load. No heat tubes. No heat sink on ram chips. It felt really cheap. And was a pain to find a after market cooler. Never going to buy palit editions again. Comparing to the other brands this cooler looks like a joke to them. Oh thats all at stock clock.

2 out of 5 eggsbad sli scaling

Pros: very good single card, easy overclocking, very good price for the spec.

Cons: I buy 2 of these cards as being entousiaste and in proper travelled any possible benchmark on the gtx sli 460 1 go ,unfortunately the placing a scale of sli in games is not good as in the bench. nothing do with the test perform proper setting same. less fps in just cause 2 in sli, any gain fps in kane and lych 2 and several other games. I have try uninstall nvidia driver and re install it more times without success. I have even reformat without success where it would have a possible conflis. I change the sli bridge without succes also. I do try a card with a the benchmark for both card separer and it been normal. I am disappoints to sli performance :(

Other Thoughts: I am not satisfied with my purchase and I change to gtx 570 sli

5 out of 5 eggsBANG FOR THE BUCK!

Pros: Can handle any game without hiccups and RUNS VERY COOL. Idles at 43c with everything stock. I don't know why everyone else runs hot, I was thinking when you buy them now they include a better heat-sink. Plus the card is smaller than the avg GFX card, will fit in more cases.

Other Thoughts: About an inch or 2 smaller

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: I have this card oc'd at 875 core clock, 1750 shader clock, 2102 memory clock @1037mv using msi afterburner. All games are running fine at max settings. The only game that I have not ran yet theat may give it some trouble would be metro2033, I'm just to lazy to reinstall it and find out.

Cons: I have read the 1gb sonic platinum edition has a much better heatsink that also covers the ram and has heatpipes. If I would have known that before purchase I would have bought that. Overall I am happy, I can always change the cooler.

Other Thoughts: I probably did not need the 2gb version but too much is always better than to little. While gaming it never has used more than 900mb. I do not really do any photoshop or cad so I can't speak for that.

5 out of 5 eggsCheap hardware for CUDA

Pros: Bought this for one reason. Adobe Premiere and Mercury Engine. Works great. Went from ATI 3870 software rendering to hardware rendering in Video.

Cons: ALot of heat and noise on games. I expected that. If you buy Nvidia cards then expect some heat.

Other Thoughts: Still waiting for my rebate.

4 out of 5 eggsJustIce

Pros: Great rendering. handles all current games well.

Cons: Price is high even for two gigs of ram. Stock fan and shroud blow hot air out all over the place since the shroud has gaps at the top and bottom of the board. This increases the overall temp of the case.

Other Thoughts: With all that being said this is still a good card and would have got 5 eggs had there not been gaps on the shroud, I did however come up with a custom solution for this that allowed me to keep the stock fan in place since it cools the card well enough. I made a new shroud that funnels the air to the back. I used thermal plastic to create a new shroud and after doing so watched the temps drop off by 10%. I do not recommend you try this unless you know how to bend thermal plastic as it will void your warranty. I build cases from scratch which is why i have the ability to make one from scratch.
