1 out of 5 eggs2 Cards Both have quality issues

Pros: None

Cons: I bought two cards and they both. Crashes & Reboots on idle and during load.

Other Thoughts: You take a chance with refurbished products. They are cheaper, but they have higher risk of being defective or DOA.

OF course you can RMA them to manufacture, but that takes more time and even then, they could give you other faulty cards depending on your luck.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid card, performs as it should.

Pros: Higher compute performance than Kepler-based GPU's, runs properly and never gets too hot under full load.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: It would rock if retailers still had these new because of their high compute potential in Blender, Adobe Premiere, and Adobe After Effects.

5 out of 5 eggsGambled and won

Pros: What I paid: this card was listed at $145ea at the time I bought it and I had a 5% off coupon, so my total for two cards with taxes, shipped, was $275. I sold my 1.5GB 580 for $160 on auction. So net total upgrade cost: $115.

What I got: two video cards in like new condition with @SIC quality scores of 80.0% and 79.9%. No missing labels, no scratches or damage, no nonsense.

Cons: Buying refurbished is always a gamble. These cards could have been returned because of a major hardware flaw that EVGA couldn't verify, or it could be that the users that purchased them were inexperienced and didn't know how to properly set them up.

Other Thoughts: I took the gamble because at this price, I felt I had nothing to lose. I won. I went from a GTX 580 1.5GB to the equivalent performance of a Titan (with a TAD more power consumption) for $115.

5 out of 5 eggsNvidia GTX 580 3 GB

Pros: Got this for 149.99 and free shipping.
Price to performance.
ASIC quality tested 88% with GPUZ.
3 GB vram.

Cons: Let me see, none really.
It does seem to run a litter hotter under load compared to some cards ive had previously. I may check the thermal compound later on.

Other Thoughts: My first impression when i took it out of the box was it looked like new. This one does not have an EVGA sticker on the front and it says nvidia geforce on the side. This is a factory card. GPUZ show an evga bios.
I think its good enough for 5 eggs even if it were new.

I read the reviews of the others who were disappointed with theirs. I was actually a bit surprised to find theirs didnt work.

I dont find any faults with mine. The price did drop another $5 shortly after i bought mine. Iron egg guarantee baby.

Ive been running mine for 5 days without any problems.

I also bought a corsair cx600 to power the card, and we got a fan problem there. That psu is going back, but theyre out of stock.

This card is 10.5" long and it fits perfectly in my emachines computer.

I still want a 780. Dear Santa.....

5 out of 5 eggsSeems to work Fine

Pros: Best GPU at the price I bought mine $149 each.
I bought 2 and have them installed in SLI
I have run a couple of benchmarks and teats with them and they seem to be working good.

Cons: Wish I had 2 more and a 1200 Watt PSU

Other Thoughts: Not the newest tech but a GTX 580 is still a beast of a card!

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: None, card is not working.

Cons: Waited a week for this to get here, and there are artifacts all over the place. EVGA really dropped the ball here.

1 out of 5 eggsLost

Pros: None

Cons: Now they have reviews of this card. Was none when i order.Thinking i should do a refund since 3 people have had bad luck. And to top it all off no one at NEWEGG or UPS can even tell me if the card was picked up by UPS.

Other Thoughts: When you order something they take the money off your card within a few min.but when it comes time that something has went wrong it takes 3 to 5 days for them to get the money back on your card.
