2 out of 5 eggsFrustrating

This review is from: EVGA 01G-P4-2753-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Superclocked 1GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card

Pros: Great picture when it's working!

Cons: Intermittently blacks the screen out for 2-3 second at a time. It may work fine for a while but then will start intermittently blacking out again. After researching on the internet, this problem appears to be common with many NVIDIA cards. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the driver multiple times with no success. I may have to consider buying another graphics card if I can't get this figured out.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Card for the Money

This review is from: EVGA 01G-P4-2753-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Superclocked 1GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card

Pros: Very satisfying considering the price. I am able to play games on much higher settings with higher frame rates than I had been with my previous ASUS ENGT 430 that this card replaced.

- Very quiet and doesn't run too hot
- Runs most games pre-2014 on High-Max with little trouble
- Inexpensive for an intro-level card
- Able to overclock without overheating

Tested Average Frame Rates for Games:

(Note that these are on a 1360x768 display, because I use a 48" TV as my monitor")

- 40 FPS on Rome 2: EE on Ultra; 30 FPS with Graphic Enhancement Mods
- 35 FPS on Total War: Attila at High Settings, which are comparable with Rome 2's Ultra
- 60 FPS on Alien: Isolation at max settings
- ~45 FPS on StarCraft 2: WoL and HotS on Extreme
- ~50 FPS (30 in heavy combat) on The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition
- SMITE on Max settings at ~60 FPS, but it is prone to some stalls and therefore I use High settings while playing competitively
- League maxed at 60 FPS, with the occasional jump down to 58 during team fights and ability spams.

My GeForce Experience is also saying that optimal graphics settings for War Thunder is "Movie" settings. I will test this as it is currently updating.

Cons: - Takes up two slots?
- Will not play latest AAA games on max at 60 FPS

There's not much to complain about

Other Thoughts: I have to re-iterate that this is a wonderful card for the price, and in the week of owning it I have suffered no problems. There's the occasional One-Egg review because of DoA cards that bring down the average score, but that can be found in most review sections for a Graphics Card.

I'm running the card on a system with a Windows 7 OS, Gigabyte 78LMT-S2 Motherboard and AMD FX-8100 Eight-core processor and 8GB of gaming RAM.

Would recommend this to friends starting out in computer gaming.

1 out of 5 eggssecond one is defective also

This review is from: EVGA 01G-P4-2753-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Superclocked 1GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card

Pros: mail in rebate, specs look good on paper, two defective cards in a row, I'm going to regret giving it a third chance if the third card they send me is also defective

Cons: the first one had to be RMA, the replacement did put out a signal on any of the output during post, using a Quadro FX 4500 as a known working card during trouble shooting, On a dell precision workstation 490 and a Optiplex 755 duing trouble shooting

Other Thoughts: I've received x2 of this model card so far that were DOA, A single RMA will set you back about one month from initial purchase date.

Manufacturer Response:

2 out of 5 eggs01G-P4-2753-KR

This review is from: EVGA 01G-P4-2753-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Superclocked 1GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card

Pros: value to performance ratio, mail in rebate, energy efficiency to performance ratio, it arrived DOA but good specs on paper, unit was DOA

Cons: was DOA, I could swap my Quadro FX 4500 out and get thru POST into Windows, put in this card and no POST display, win drivers are irrelevant during POST, my computer has newest available BIOS and still no POST with this card installed,

Other Thoughts: requested RMA, sent it off on Jan 19th 2015, they state to allow up to 10 business days for them to inspect the contents of the package that you return. I'll update this with actual total turn around time if possible after I receive a replacement.

1 out of 5 eggsEVGA 01G-P4-2753-KR

This review is from: EVGA 01G-P4-2753-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Superclocked 1GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card

Pros: good price if you factor in $20 mail in rebate. It's supposed to be a "super clocked" version.

Cons: 1st card was dead, had to RMA the first card I purchased, I sent the box back on January 19th 2015, I'll update the review once the replacement gets to me so other can see the amount of turn around time needed if you end up having to RMA one like I am having to do,

Other Thoughts: If i wouldn't have had to rma the unit initially i would give it high mark based on specs and price,

5 out of 5 eggsBest Bang for Your Buck!

This review is from: EVGA 01G-P4-2753-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Superclocked 1GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card

Pros: This thing is pretty freaking good for us budget gamers. I picked it up for 130 bucks when It has just came out. But overall I'm very satisfied. Here's a list of positives.
-No pci-e 6pin power required
-Cool and quiet
-Small design doesn't take up room
-Overclock-able and still remains very cool

I can max out games like
-Battlefield 4
-Far Cry 3
-Tomb Raider
-Titanfall
all at 720p. (My native screen resolution).
I can play advanced warfare at max settings as well, but because of the 1gb of vram this card has, advanced warfare causes my card to hit its vram cap and there is studdering. So keep that in mind. But when I do max out advanced warfare, except for the studdering, it runs at around 60 to 70 fps. 720p. Again for a vram heavy game like that, your gonna need at least 2gb of vram.

Cons: The only bad thing was that the price went down around 10 bucks a week after I bought it. The card also only has 1gb of vram. And games like advanced warfare can't be maxed out not because of the lack of frames, but soley because of the vram issue. I don't highly recommend this verysion only because of that, but pick yourself up the 2gb version of this card and your set.

Other Thoughts: Overall great card though. I don't mind mid to high settings on advanced warfare rather than max because of the vram. Any other game I have thrown at it has been able to run it at max at the very minimum 30-40 fps. Which is good enough for me.
