5 out of 5 eggsI bet its a great card

Pros: I do not have one of these cards, but a friend of mine does. These pros go off his experience with the card.

Card is very stable. Runs all of my friends games maxed out at high settings. Does the job for what he does with it. No need to upgrade just yet.

***To those concerned about this card and other GTX 700 series cards in PCI Express x16 1.0 slots*** These cards are not PCI Express x16 1.0 compatible. My friend is using this card in a PCI Express x16 1.1 slot. The 1.1 slots are compatible with these cards. Some older motherboards that only have 1.0 capability can go to 1.1 with a BIOS update, but some don't. Also make sure the card is PCI Express 3.0 x16, because if the card is PCI Express 3.0 x8, chances are that the card won't run because the BIOS won't see it. My main motherboard has a PCIe 2.0 slot and it will not run an x8 card. I have an ASUS P5K Pro with PCI Express x16 1.1 and its compatible to run the GTX 780ti. A GTX 660 was tested in it and runs fine. I also have an older PCCHIPS board with a 1.0 slot, and it ran the GTX 660, so the 600 series does have 1.0 capability. Hope this helps.

Cons: none.

3 out of 5 eggsNot compatible with 1.0 slot

Pros: 1/2 length card that does not require extra power supply connection.
Worked on a PCIe x16 2.0 slot

Cons: Purchased to replace at GTX 650 in 1.0 slot. New card did not work in older system with PCIe x16 1.0 Slot. Edned up using it another sstem with a 2.0 slot.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Card

Pros: Very high quality video card, it allows me to play games like the Elder Scrolls Online and the Witcher 2 on ultra-high video settings. It's very quiet and newver overheats, even after 5+ hours of non-stop use. And the price for this card is unbeatable

Cons: Mislabeled power requirements, so when I got it, I had to upgrade my power supply as well. It needs 400W or more.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect Graphics Card

Pros: Very Short, Great Budget, Low Noise, this card should be for every new PC gamer

Cons: None at all

Other Thoughts: Best EVGA graphics card for new PC gamer this card can handle most of the games (Not in High Settings) but you get tons of frames per second. If anyone is going to get a budget graphics card I recommend this gpu. This card has not fail on me more than 4 months.

Pros: Very short, half the length of my previous card. No additional power needed.

5 out of 5 eggsA reasonable upgrade for cheap gaming PC

Pros: Cheap, stable, cool, and accepted a significant overclock. Seems several times more powerful than the 8800GT I replaced (yeah, I haven't upgraded in awhile). Haven't seen temps over 51c even in my cramped case with an OC. Probably would work even with a stock dell power supply. It can run Metro 2033 with *most* settings maxed.

This is a good choice to throw in a cheapo refurb C2D system to make a gaming machine.

Cons: I didn't do a ton of research before buying this, I think there may be faster cards available in the general price range but they have older technology and far higher power consumption. If you need real anti-aliasing with new titles this card may not be powerful enough but it seems to handle most games with highish settings as long as you don't enable FPS killing AA modes.

Other Thoughts: (Used this card for about 20hrs over 6 days so far)
I threw this in a Dell Inspiron 530 along with some extra ram and pin-modded CPU to make a cheap gaming machine. It replaced an old 8800GT that I've been limping along on for years and years. I mostly play various STALKER series mods and with that scene so active I decided it was finally time for an upgrade. Nice to see something several times more powerful than my old card available so cheap. I can run Lost Alpha or any other mod I throw at it at a mix of 3/4 or full settings, except for anti-aliasing. Stick to FXAA because other forms are still like taking your framerate and dividing by 2 or 4 and this card is not THAT powerful. I always thought FXAA looked better anyways.

Some mods have enough headroom to run other forms of AA though, take FOTOGRAF which I was able to max and use ENB shaders to enable edge AA and several other effects with a good framerate.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Budget Friendly Video Card

Pros: Quiet, Direct X 11, no 6 pin power required, compact in size, simple driver utility.

Cons: I'm getting the same frame rates as the Radeon HD 4870 that I bought in 2008.

Other Thoughts: I bought this card to replace my Radeon HD 4870 that finally died. I'm using it on an old PCIe 2.0 mobo with an Intel Q6600. It's doing great. The drivers installed without any hassle. The upgrade from Direct X 10 to 11 allows me to keep gaming. The rebate processed and was approved. EVGA and Newegg have satisfied another customer.
