5 out of 5 eggsGreat value and VERY CAPABLE

This review is from: EVGA 01G-P4-2751-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 1GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card

Pros: An astonishingly capable gaming GPU that has almost no wallet impact. Plays Dying Light extremely stable between 30-40 fps with an amd A8 7600 cpu.

Cons: None really, I suppose it price being so close to the 750 ti makes it less enticing by comparison though.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat starter card

This review is from: EVGA 01G-P4-2751-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 1GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card

Pros: This card is an amazing buy for the money, It can play almost any game at over 50 frames. It runs rather quiet, and never goes above 90 degrees under load. This is a pretty good looking card, but some chrome accents would be nice.

Cons: Even though EVGA makes good cards, they don't look as nice as other partners. I am willing to trade some looks for performance though.

Other Thoughts: Here is a list of the average frame rate i get in various games at ultra settings.

- TES V Skyrim (With HQ add-on) ~ 55
- CS:GO ~ 75
- The Forest ~ 40
- Fallout 3 ~ 65

3 out of 5 eggsYou get what you pay for

This review is from: EVGA 01G-P4-2751-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 1GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card

Pros: Low TDP to start with. Usually a pretty quite card. Very affordable.

Cons: I could not play the new games at all. Got a big blurred screen tear in all of them. Older games it ran fine. Skyrim and Fallout in particular. Its like the card was made for the games. Solid 60 FPS ALWAYS. But overall it wasnt great but it wasnt bad. If you only have 120 bucks to throw at a GPU then this is a good option.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card, low price

This review is from: EVGA 01G-P4-2751-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 1GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card

Pros: I purchased this card primarily for gaming. Low power consumption and quiet. Easy to install. Plays most recent PC games at medium to high settings at 50-60 FPS. Older games you should be able to max settings at 60 FPS no problem.

Overall, a great low priced entry level graphics card for PC gaming. Great value.

Cons: None so far

5 out of 5 eggsNo Complaints

This review is from: EVGA 01G-P4-2751-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 1GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card

Pros: Works well in my HTPC, increasing game performance dramatically.

Cons: Price seems a little high for what it is.

Other Thoughts: While researching I found the performance differences between this card and the higher RAM model to be negligible. It sounds like if you need more RAM on your video card than this has, you probably need a card with higher specs overall.

This replaced my EVGA 512-P3-1240-LR GeForce GT 240 from 2010 which worked fine for everything but certain games.

5 out of 5 eggsLow wattage GPU

This review is from: EVGA 01G-P4-2751-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 1GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card

Pros: The GTX750 is probably the lowest wattage, highest performance GPU out there, the EVGA version had a decent price. Selected this card for a new SMALL HTPC build, so mainly for video, not gaming. Got 7.7 WEI score for both graphics and gaming graphics. See other thoughts for more build specs.

Cons: Minor complaint - not super quiet, you can still hear the fan at idle.

Other Thoughts: My goal was to build a small, low power, high performance, mini-ITX HTPC. Had hard time finding double slot small mini-ITX case.

Parts list:
RAIDMAX 0907BP mini-ITX case
i3-4360 54W CPU
ASROCK H97 mini-ITX motherboard
16GB Mushkin RAM
Intel 530 SSD
2TB Seagate HD
DVD / Bluray ROM
PicoPSU-160 / 144W adapter
Noctua NH-L9i cooler
Win7 Pro 64bit

This GTX750 tucks nicely into the RAIDMAX single PCI slot case, ONLY if you ditch the supplied 300W PSU. The second slot of the card protrudes into where the standard PSU should be, but the vent slots are still fully unobstructed. Without the supplied PSU, the huge 144W power brick can also fit inside the case.
The picoPSU-160 with the 144W power brick had enough power for this GTX750. In fact, the Kill-A-Watt meter only maxed out at ~110W in a standard IBT burn test (I have yet to run a GPU burn test tho). Normal 1080p movie video playback is ~80W. Idles at ~35W.
During the test, CPU got up to throttled temp, while GPU is still ~41-44C range
On a build like this, CPU cooling is trickier than adequate power supply concerns.
