4 out of 5 eggsNot SLI compatable

This review is from: EVGA 02G-P4-3757-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 FTW w/ ACX Cooling Video Card

Pros: It is a great card little to no problems.

Cons: Its not SLI compatible. My boyfriend just upgraded to a 980. We figured that it would be perfect that we could upgrade him and then put the two graphics cards in a SLI configuration. However its not SLI compatible, yet they still send you the SLI link, just to add insult to injury.

Other Thoughts: Overall great card just felt mislead by the lack of shared knowledge of SLI compatibility. Why send the link if the card does not support it?

3 out of 5 eggsIt Makes A Horrible Marriage Counselor

This review is from: EVGA 02G-P4-3757-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 FTW w/ ACX Cooling Video Card

Pros: Looks great, nice sleek design. Fits easily in the case.

Cons: Just... well... read on

Other Thoughts: I consider myself an "expert" PC user, having been a tech, worked in IT and earned a few certifications along the way over the past 20 years. This card/motherboard/PC combo ran and is running me through the mill though. So let this review be a lesson for anyone buying this card for a system upgrade.

I'm sure the card works great. I have no reason to suspect it won't... one day.

I'm on a tight budget. Just getting this card costs me a whole lot of favors with the wife! Three years ago I was also on a budget but when I saw a nicely specced out HP Pavillion on sale as Refurbished, I jumped on it. Which made me call in all my favors for the wife.

Now I'm suffering the consequences of buying a name-brand PC once again.

This card is about a year old and it's pretty advanced, compared to my 3-4 year old system. Add to that, the OEM parts and little hidden details manufacturers add to their PCs and you have yourself a nightmare in the making. I suspect, many of these negative reviews saying things like "DOA" are a result of this.

For starters, CHECK YOUR POWER SUPPLY. I was in such a rush to jump on the deal I got with this PC, I made some concessions; one was the 350 watt PSU. Not enough! Go out and get yourself at least a 500 watt PSU if you want to reliably run this card!

Yes dear, what's that? You want me to cook every meal for the next year? Well... alright.

Flash your BIOS. This is now my other issue. It takes some snooping to find all the info you need. If this card doesn't work, it just hangs and beeps at your when you start the PC, the BIOS is the #1 cause for that.

If you're fortunate, your manufacturer will have it listed and available on their Web site. If you're even more fortunate, it will be a fairly recent update.

If you're unfortunate, then you're left with little choice but getting a new motherboard.

Ummm, honey... sweetheart? Fine. I'll sleep on the sofa.. and change the baby diapers... and take the dog out... and what's that? Do the dishes too? *sigh*

4 out of 5 eggsSo far so good!

This review is from: EVGA 02G-P4-3757-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 FTW w/ ACX Cooling Video Card

Pros: Card works perfectly out of the box, drivers were a quick load and now I can finally play GTAV 1080, most settings turned-up!
YEAH!

Cons: non yet.

Other Thoughts: For the price-point offered on Newegg.com the FTW version of this card will allow one to play newer games without having to shell-out $200+
Good deal Newegg!

4 out of 5 eggsGood card but buyer beware.

This review is from: EVGA 02G-P4-3757-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 FTW w/ ACX Cooling Video Card

Pros: I have no complaints with the card. It idles through what would overheat my last card.

Cons: Everyone should know that EVGA refused to honor the $20 rebate. Make sure you take that into consideration with the price.

5 out of 5 eggsBetter now!

This review is from: EVGA 02G-P4-3757-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 FTW w/ ACX Cooling Video Card

Pros: Works great have had no real issues as of yet!

Cons: Ran into an issue but I think the card may have been loose in the pci-e slot!

Other Thoughts: I just put a review up saying how bad this card was but I fixed the issue I was having! the issue: I was not able to see the four arrows in the corners of the screen just the one in the upper left area of the screen when resizing monitor and that was making the screen look weird and making the icons on the desktop screen huge and google chrome smaller than it should have been! Fix: I took the card out and put it back in making me think the card was just loose in the pci-e slot... sadly I cannot find my last review or else I would edit/delete it or even give a link so you all know what one I am talking about sorry.... but all in all I really do like this card and coming from integrated graphics I can see a huge difference in performance and picture!

2 out of 5 eggsWaste of money?

This review is from: EVGA 02G-P4-3757-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 FTW w/ ACX Cooling Video Card

Pros: Worked great for a few days!

Cons: Having major resolution issues after a few days....

Other Thoughts: So I bought this card thinking it would not only improve performance in my PC but also fix my resolution issue I was having before! it does work like a charm and I do love this card a lot! it worked great for the first few days that I had it but now the icons are way to big and google chrome is way to small... I might just go back to using integrated graphics again since it is starting to get bad and I have tried messing around with scaling but does nothing to fix the issues! I feel like this was just a huge waste of money for me....

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic

This review is from: EVGA 02G-P4-3757-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 FTW w/ ACX Cooling Video Card

Pros: Out of the box and running in under 10 minutes. The driver install process from N-Vidia website was painless. Beam-NG on 60" Plasma at full resolution. Awesome.

Cons: Has a PCI-e power connector. I was worried because I picked this card so I wouldn't need to upgrade PSU. Maybe I didnt do enough research. Instructions in box say must use the PCI-e power connector, but It's been running fine without it. Only a con because it's not clear.

Other Thoughts: Dell Inspiron 620, Win 7 Pro
i5-2320, 6GB RAM, 256GB Kingston SSD, 1TB WD Black. Stock PSU
I had a Radeon 6450 OEM from Dell, had nothing but trouble. BSOD, Green screens, Random re-boots. Dell thought it was driver problems, so I had installed/re-installed AMD catalyst 2 or 3 times until it was out of warranty. Turns out it's not driver problem it's GPU overheating. Swapped this in & everything stopped.

2 out of 5 eggsbad preformance

This review is from: EVGA 02G-P4-3757-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 FTW w/ ACX Cooling Video Card

Pros: it is cheap i guess.

Cons: just doesn't preform how it should. you try to run any game (and i mean any) at even semi-high graphics and this thing just screens tears and gets horrid frame rate. for the price i would definitely go with another company.

Other Thoughts: after a year of this thing im just going to save up and buy a gtx 970 as those have good reviews and everyone i now that has one is very happy with it
