5 out of 5 eggsGood bang for the buck

This review is from: EVGA 02G-P4-3757-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 FTW w/ ACX Cooling Video Card

Pros: Good card for the money (when its on sale.) Has a lot of punch and plays most games on medium/high settings w/o getting hot.

Cons: This was a good card, in 2014. For a little more you can get a 960 and that'll do more for you than this thing. It's still a good card in 2015 but there are better alternatives for the budget now. I used to use my Nvidia cards for video conversion, but that stopped with Maxwell and all current drivers. Also no SLI and the build quality is good, but does seem a touch on the cheap side.

Other Thoughts: I used this in a G3258 build with 8 GB of RAM and a 120 GB SSD running Ubuntu (or whatever other Linux distro catches my eye that week.) It's been pretty good for what it is. I came from a 560 SE so it's a definite leap forward in gaming. For video encoding Nvidia has switched some things up and my old programs that had CUDA acceleration don't work any more, so that blows. Also no h/w H265 encoding on this first gen Maxwell. The later 900 series get it though.

My setup is pretty generic, you can go on reddit or youtube and see a lot of people went this route for a cheapo gaming machine/ steambox. For what it is, it works. Would I do it again, using this card? No. But that's because of some changes Nvidia is making and not playing too nice with Linux stuff, not a strike against the physical card itself. Just remember it's only got a 2 GB buffer, so you are limited to 1080P gaming on this. And I think it's best for single panel. Multi screen and this might not work so well for gaming (I could be wrong.)

The TL:DR version: It's good, and worth it, on sale.

5 out of 5 eggsNot much left to say.

This review is from: EVGA 02G-P4-3757-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 FTW w/ ACX Cooling Video Card

Pros: -Cheap

Cons: -Cheap

Other Thoughts: This isn't a top of line graphics card but it's not bottom bracket either... I'd say if you're on a budget and just want something that can handle modern games then this is a solid choice.

This review is from: EVGA 02G-P4-3757-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 FTW w/ ACX Cooling Video Card

Pros: Screams. Works great. Easy installation.

Cons: I was dumb and bought a second one without reading and figuring out if it supported SLI.... Which it doesn't.

5 out of 5 eggsA very great card

This review is from: EVGA 02G-P4-3757-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 FTW w/ ACX Cooling Video Card

Pros: This card runs very cool, it doesn't go above 60 degrees when playing games. I've been able to max out games like League of Legends and Counter Strike GO and run BF4 at 60 constant FPS, too with this card. At idle the card's temp is around 30.

Cons: Not really a con of the card, but this card can get bottlenecked hard by your CPU. I used to run the card with an AMD athlon ii x4 645 processor and the performance of the graphics card in games was pretty meh. Games would not run at the best FPS that this card could run them at. After I got an FX-6300 though, woah mama this card can run anything now. So make sure if you want to see this card's full potential, get a worthy CPU.

Other Thoughts: You should wait for a sale for this card. When I got it it was only $110 after a $20 rebate!

1 out of 5 eggsFirst EVGA DOA

This review is from: EVGA 02G-P4-3757-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 FTW w/ ACX Cooling Video Card

Pros: Price
Look

Cons: DOA, find this to be the culprit of why my mobo would not post

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Ryan A.,

The GTX 750/750TI graphics cards are based of the new Maxwell architecture which may require some motherboards to update their BIOS information to be compatible with this new graphics card. The GTX 750/750TI is compatible with both UEFI and non-UEFI BIOS versions. Should any customer or potential customer ever have any questions about any EVGA product, then I would encourage them to contact our 24 hour Presales Support team by phone 1.888.881.3842 and pressing option 3 or by email: Newegg@EVGA.com so that we can further assist them.

Sincerely,
EVGA Customer Support

5 out of 5 eggsGood price, great performance.

This review is from: EVGA 02G-P4-3757-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 FTW w/ ACX Cooling Video Card

Pros: I bought this card for my girlfriend as a birthday gift for her gaming PC, and she absolutely loves the design of all EVGA cards. Her dad bought a standard 750 Ti, but I decided to go big and grab the FTW edition.
The card runs really good. I never hear it when I am in games. I have played Team Fortress 2, Minecraft (higher texture pack), Neverwinter, and all of the games work perfectly. No lag. No stuttering. Compared to her old EVGA GT630, this upgrade was absolutely needed.

Cons: I don't really have any cons as of right now. If I have anything in the future I will update this as I go.

Other Thoughts: I am beginning to love EVGA more and more with the products I get. All of the cards that I have bought for either myself, or someone else, have all been EVGA cards, and they work flawlessly until I need to upgrade them again.

5 out of 5 eggsThe Ideal GPU for the poor gamer

This review is from: EVGA 02G-P4-3757-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 FTW w/ ACX Cooling Video Card

Pros: This gpu is combined with an i3 4160 3.6ghz + 2x4gb g.skill ares 1600mhz ram with a 1680x1050 Samsung T220HD monitor. Plays the following games on medium to high settings: Assassin's Creed 3, AC 4: Black Flag, AC: Freedom Cry, AC: Revelations, Alice: Madness Returns, Bulletstorm, Left 4 Dead 1 & 2, Rainbow Six 6: Vegas 1 & 2, GTA 4 & 5, GTA: Episodes from Liberty City, Battlefield 3 & 4, ES V: Skyrim, ES IV: Oblivion, Far Cry 3 & 4, FC 3: Blood Dragon, Fallout: New Vegas, Borderlands 2, Duke Nukem: Forever, Payday 2, Crysis 1 to 3, Mass Effect 1 to 3, Bioshock 1 & 2, Bioshock: Infinite, Thief, Tomb Raider, Metro 2033 Redux, Metro: Last Light. As you can see this impressive list of games is enabled by this particular gpu, which happens to be priced under $150. If you can pick this up and be able to ignore the hype for high end gpu's especially if you can't afford it, I think you would be better off as you would still be able to play games like the ones I listed. I feel like I came out ahead considering theres a bunch of other games that I haven't played yet like Watch Dogs and Shadow of Mordor along with many others that the gtx 750 ti is compatible for. I'm planning to stick with this gpu for the next two years as there is many released and unreleased games that I need to play when I get the chance. :)

Cons: None. This is a great gpu as long as its reasonably priced. However, if your gpu is DOA (don't worry cuz they follow up on warranties), just contact their RMA department through the EVGA customer support number.

Other Thoughts: I was lucky enough to get this for $129.99 back in October 2014. The price for gpus has definitely gone up since games like GTA 5 and Far Cry 3 are starting to get more optimized. If you're new to building a pc, you should definitely get this when its between $130-140 as purchasing it at a higher price wouldn't make sense as you could get a more better gpu like the gtx 660 at the $150-160 price range. Do yourself a favor and pick the right gpu in the price range that you're willing to pay for. For me, this was a gpu that was much better than my old gtx 550 ti since it lets me play the games I want. Will upgrade to a gtx 960 ti in the future when it is released.
