GeForce GTX TITAN Z is a gaming monster, built to power the most extreme gaming rigs on the planet. It is designed with the highest-grade components to deliver the best experience – incredible speed and cool, quiet performance — all in a stunningly crafted aluminum case. you can game on multi-monitor displays and hyper PCs at high settings and super-fast frame rates and even add a second card and immerse yourself in graphically intense games like Watch Dogs® in full 4K Surround.

Key Features

The new Kepler SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.

NVIDIA GPU Boost Technology 2.0
Dynamically maximizes clock speeds to push performance to new levels and bring out the best in every game. Boost 2.0 allows complete control over Temperature Target and Power Target, allowing a new way to customize your overclock. Also, with the new EVGA Precision X, you can increase the voltage for maximum overclock!

Anti-aliasing smoothes out jagged edges but can be demanding on framerates. FXAA is a new antialiasing technology that produces beautiful smooth lines with minimal performance impact. And with Kepler based GPUs, you'll be able to enable FXAA in hundreds of game titles through the NVIDIA Control Panel.

An in-game option that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for even higher visual fidelity. Get the image quality of 8X MSAA with the performance hit of only 2X MSAA. This means a smoother gaming experience without the loss of FPS normally associated with this level of eye candy.

NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync
Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-Sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.

Frame Rate Target
Set a target Frame Rate with EVGA Precision X and your card will automatically adjust the power/performance to meet that target. This feature delivers the ultimate in efficient gaming.

The Heart of a Hyper PC
The groundbreaking dual-GPU GTX TITAN Z uses new dynamic power balancing technology that ensures peak performance across two GPUs with optimal power delivery. This means you can game on multi-monitor displays and hyper PCs at high setting and super-fast frame rates. With support for NVIDIA SLI®, you can even add a second card and immerse yourself in graphically intense games like Watch Dogs® in full 4K Surround.

PCI Express 3.0
Offers double the bandwidth of PCI Express 2.0, for the highest data transfer speeds to allow for maximum performance in bandwidth-hungry games and 3D applications. The EVGA GeForce GTX TITAN Z is still backwards compatible with all existing PCI Express motherboards.

Attention to Quality
EVGA's attention to quality is worth noting, from performance to appearance, even down to the packaging contents and protection. EVGA cards ship with cover caps over the critical components, eliminating worries about any dust build-up or damage that could occur.

Pixel Clock Control
Use EVGA Precision X to "overclock" your refresh rate. With the latest EVGA Precision X, you can now increase your pixel clock! This allows for increased refresh rates on select monitors, meaning smoother gameplay and reduced screen tearing!

EVGA Backplate
The EVGA GeForce GTX TITAN Z backplate looks great, improves PCB strength and acts as a heatsink.

EVGA Warranty
New EVGA warranty that covers the graphics card, not the user. This means the only requirement for warranty coverage is ownership of the card during its warranty period.

Microsoft DirectX 12
Ready for Microsoft DirectX 12; the upcoming API designed to raise the bar on gaming performance and visual quality.

Unleash your favorite Android and PC games, movies, music and more with NVIDIA SHIELD – the ultimate gaming and entertainment portable.

NVIDIA G-SYNC monitors feature revolutionary NVIDIA technology that eliminates screen tearing while also reducing input lag. The result is the smoothest, fastest, and most responsive gaming monitor experience ever seen.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: The card is great, it can run anything I throw at it, including 4k gaming.
It's also a very quiet card.

Cons: Does tend to "dump" a lot of hot air into the case, but if you can properly cool your system then it's no problem.
Other than that I can't find anything wrong with the card.

Other Thoughts: Some of the cosmetic stuff (like a poster) didn't come in the box, but I can live without them.

4 out of 5 eggsEVGA number one

Pros: So happy to see video cards stopped growing 2" per year. I was glad that it was about the same exact length as my GTX 480. It runs much cooler than did the 480.

Many cuda cores for rendering in After Effects (However this card is not on the supported list so GPU will not be used without adding this card to the list - See youtube).

Runs everything I can throw at it. No need to get another anytime soon. I may down the road but by then I'll probably just get what is king at that time since HDMI 2 and 3 will be out.

It's very quiet and cools much more easily than did my 480.

Cons: Price.
Old HDMI standard and DisplayPort standard.
Only one of each.

Other Thoughts: Keep up with current standards like HDMI 1, 2, 3, etc. New cards around the corner will have the later standards and having a card 10x's more powerful than this means nothing if your hdmi connection is behind the times. Look at things like maximum refresh at a given resolution. You will not be using todays cards (at the time of this post) to do 4k at 60hz. You don't want your bottleneck to be because your expensive purchase had sub par connections not able to do what you want it to do.

I'm a gamer, but mainly got this card for video editing. If I were more of a gamer I would have looked at the Titan X but like I said, so far this does everything I want.

5 out of 5 eggsEverything I needed

Pros: High FPS in everything I use them for.
Looks great, and has a small space between the mounts so that airflow is possible in SLI.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Cards usually run at 70-80C, but can be remedied by external programs.

5 out of 5 eggsGot two of these

Pros: 1. Does the job of two titan blacks in a more compact form factor at 500$ less than the price of two blacks. (at the time of this review)
2. Yes, two titan blacks will have slightly better performance. But in my experience, SLi of two cards produces a lot of stuttering as opposed to SLi of two gpus on the same card.
Meaning, TITAN BLACKS SLi <<< TITAN Z with in-built SLi, in terms of stuttering.
3. Two of these cards in SLi (quad-SLi) had terrible stuttering and very poor scaling. However, the two cards can be configured to operate in 3-way sli with a fourth core dedicated to Physx. That completely gets rid of frame stuttering and also offers the scaling you get when going from 2 to 3 gpus.

Cons: 1.Dumps tons of hot air into the case unlike a titan black. I had to rethink my air flow in my case.
2.Price tag used to be a problems but at 1500$ it is now a great buy.

Other Thoughts: You can use it as melee weapon.

5 out of 5 eggs<your diety here>'s own video card

Pros: The most exciting surprise was how quiet this card is while running anything at the highest possible settings.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: "It is so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up." - Ferris Bueller
