Your gaming won't be the same with the EVGA 06G-P4-3787-KR graphics card.

Based on the latest evolution of NVIDIA GPU, the GeForce GTX 780, this card is a landmark in gaming performance – an insanely fast, smooth, and whisper-quiet experience. The massively powerful NVIDIA Kepler GPU features 2304 CUDA Cores – 50% more than its predecessor. Complete with a mammoth 6GB of high-speed GDDR5 memory and NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 technology, this card gives you the performance capability you need to game at extreme settings. This card also introduces a brand-new thermal solution, the EVGA ACX cooler, which delivers enhanced cooling capability at a reduced noise level, as well as a longer fan lifespan. Beyond raw performance, the GeForce GTX 780 is perfectly tuned to today’s most advanced gaming technologies, with GeForce Experience for one-click driver and setting optimization, and NVIDIA PhysX and TXAA for smooth, sharp graphics.

  • newegg EVGA ACX Cooler EVGA is introducing a brand-new cooling design: the EVGA ACX Cooler. This revolutionary double ball bearing design offers a 40% increase in heatsink volume, 15% average lower GPU and memory temperatures, and double ball bearing fans with an average lifespan of 12 years. This is a 4X longer lifespan vs. competitors sleeve bearing fans! Not to mention this fan is silent; in fact it is 15% quieter on average!
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 This brand-new technology allows gamers to push PC performance to the maximum with precise controls. GPU Boost 2.0 intelligently monitors work with even more advanced controls, like GPU temperature target, overclocking, and overvoltage, to ensure the GPU works at the ultimate performance.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing; at low framerates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email, or the web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA ANTI-ALIASING Anti-aliasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images, but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new anti-aliasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.
  • newegg NVIDIA PhysX Technology Full support for NVIDIA PhysX technology, enabling a totally new class of physical gaming interaction for a more dynamic and realistic experience with GeForce.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome card

Pros: Really nice card, even better in SLI. I play BF4, LOL, DOTA2, Tera, GW2 among others and all of them run really well in SLI. I actually found some over on another site since this one was out of stock.

Cons: Its a little on the hot side, but that's how all the 780's are.

Other Thoughts: If you own one of these, a second one will outpreform the 980 line by a good margin.

5 out of 5 eggsGPU is perfect, last review was incorrect

Pros: I made a mistake and wish I could change/alter my previous review. It turns out that my 2nd PCI-E slot was semi defective meaning it could read the card but for whatever reason it would not read it as SLI (even with bridge attached). Having replace my MB with a EVGA Z97 MB allowed me to SLI the cards and run with the top card reaching about 85C under heavy gaming and bottom card about 65C and that's on a MB that uses SLI in slots 1 & 2 which gives no space between so for temps that's really good.

Cons: Newegg really needs to setup a system for us users to be able to alter our reviews so that the ratings are correct.

Other Thoughts: EVGA has fantastic support and helped me figure everything out. It's worth paying extra for a quality product and great company.

1 out of 5 eggsSLI is horrible

Pros: For use as a single card the performance is quite amazing. Ultra settings for all my games @1080P *See my review below on the single card performance*

Cons: SLI support for this card is atrocious! I have tried everything from replacing bridges and HDMI cables to calling EVGA support. SLI worked fine for about a month then all of a sudden I get BSOD and constant restarts on my system (possibly from the newest drivers but I even went back to the old ones and still had issues). I've tested each card separately and they work flawlessly but as soon as I test them in SLI (I did a clean install of drivers) and activate SLI through the Nvidia control panel I have constant issues. EVGA told me to update my BIOS/Drivers and that didn't fix anything. And even though they are a great single card for the $$$ you would think a $500+ GPU would be SLI ready (and yes my motherboard is SLI compatible *MSI MPOWER Z87*). I am so disappointed that I spent over $1000 for cards I can't use in SLI. Well I guess I can keep one in my main system and one in my mini-itx build. This is my first time using SLI and to be honest probably my last.

Other Thoughts: Maybe I can get rid of them as "damaged" and see if EVGA will let me step up to 980's. . .

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Don B. ,

I can assure you that that the GTX 780 6GB graphics cards are SLI ready and should not have any issues when setup. We are here to assist you in trying to resolve the issues you are experiencing. If you have not done so already, then I would encourage you to contact our 24 hour Technical Support team by phone 1.888.881.3842 and pressing option 1 or by email Newegg@EVGA.com, so that we can further assist you.

5 out of 5 eggsThis Was a Steal!

Pros: Performance comparable to a titan. Stacks up pretty well against the 900-series cards. The 6GB of GDDR5 ram was nothing to scoff at.

Cons: They discontinued it, it seems (probably because it made buying a titan seem like a stupid idea). Now buying one cost an arm and a leg (if you can find one). Finding the same chip with the same amount of RAM is a pain if you want to SLI.

Other Thoughts: So far, I've been able to play the latest games, including Dragon Age: Inquisition on the highest settings. I put this card through it's paces and it hasn't failed me yet.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Card... MIA recently

Pros: Now that the nvidia 900 series is out, the comparison with this specific card is more relevant. Its capability is well beyond any current game, and the 6 gb of ram make it far more interesting than the 4 gb offer of the new ones. I cannot stress how good it is, specially paired with a good - large monitor.

Cons: No cons, but I have read that its SLI configuration is not that well developed and it tends to overheat the blocked card... not that I know, I haven't tested myself

Other Thoughts: It is very weird that this card was put out of the market as soon as the 900 ones came out... it seems to me this very card was hurting bad the sale of the new ones. Conspiracy theory, of course

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

Pros: This card is amazingly fast and comparable to the Titan for alot cheaper. Its stays relatively cool in my antec 1200 case. I've been able to run Watchdogs/BF4/Skyrim (30+Mods)/BL2/Vindictus/Tomb Raider all on Ultra with well above 50 FPS (Most held @60FPS due to Vsync)

Cons: The card is being discontinued (probably due to it being so close to the Titan for over $400 less. . .

Other Thoughts: I will be ordering another if Newegg gets any in.

My rig:

CPU: I7-4770k
Cooler:Zalman LED
MB:MSI MPOWER Z87
RAM:Gskill Sniper 8 gb
GPU: EVGA 780 6gb
Case:Antec 1200

3 out of 5 eggsvery questionable

Pros: Well this one arrived in perfect condition and worked right out of the box to some extent.

Cons: The problem I'm having is that it was to replace an AMD HD6970 and the SR-2 motherboard with the NF200 shipset is not compatible with the newer R290 series so I had to go with nVidia. I thought the GTX780 SC would be faster and better but it was and is not.

This new GTX780SC is so slow, in Crysis 3 all setting have to be on low @ 1080P for it to run smooth, the old AMD card ran so much better @ 1080P and settings on 50% high and the rest on medium.

This card is not worth the money, the old AMD HD6970 card runs much faster and is much cheaper.
Very poor job nVidia. My system is EVGA MB SR-2 with ( six sticks ) 3 channel 12GB Ram, SSD HD and 2x6core cpu's @ 2.6gigs. The nVidia software states my system does no meet the requirements to run other than LOW settings, interesting!

Other Thoughts: I'm thinking of buying two AMD HD6970 cards, I don't have the original HD6970 since it went into my son's system.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card for CUDA

Pros: This card works great for CUDA. It is 3.5 times faster than my GTX280 running the same CUDA program and has enough memory for very large problems. Unfortunately, Nvidia has removed this model from their product line, perhaps because it was competing too much with their more expensive Titan models. I scooped up the last card from the market, to use it for myself, or maybe to sell it later for a profit when people realize what a great card this one was but cannot get it anymore.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggs6 GB

Pros: 6 GB of VRAM.
ACX Cooler, I guess. Going to convert for watercooling later, but it looks neat in the meantime, I suppose.

Never had a problem with EVGA.
Does what I bought it for wonderfully.

Cons: Could be free, if I have to put something here.

Other Thoughts: Bought 2 of these, primarily for 3D rendering, as my GTX 670s were doing everything I want for gaming just fine. I have no interest in 4k to speak of, and don't game as much as I used to, so these will pretty much just be workhorses. Didn't even bother attaching the SLI cable, since it degrades rendering performance to run them in SLI. Dumped one of the GTX 670s to an alternate build, and left the other for running displays. The trio works like a dream.

Gamers, you may hate on me now, I guess.

4 out of 5 eggsTemps can be a problem in SLI, defective fan

Pros: Runs fast and smooth in SLI, plays all my games at max settings at 1440p.

Cons: A challenge in SLI since one card will always be much hotter due to the way the fans work. Need either an open case like I do or some major air flow.

Also, one of the fans on one of the cards emits annoying loud screeching sound at low speeds - driving me bonkers as I am typing this.

Other Thoughts: The cooler card is 65C at max load, the hotter card is 80C at max load which is acceptable so it's all OK.

Now I need to do something about that fan...the sound is horrible like someone scraping a cooking pot wiith a fork...
