5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Needed a DVI port on my Dell. Didn't have a PCI Express power connector and this card doesn't need one. Perfect fit. Seems a bit faster than onboard video.

Cons: None.

1 out of 5 eggsWorthless card

Pros: None, company should be shut down.

Cons: I bought this card at the local store (you know, support local stores ;), and it does not last more then 6 months.

Only decent video cards last 5 years or longer. This is true of any honestly made computer hardware.

This card did not last even 1/2 a year. DVI port is broken.

Other Thoughts: DO NOT BUY

4 out of 5 eggsCustom Drivers Needed For XP...

Pros: Great Card for those with not that much money its decent enough to support games like Counter Strike and World Of Warcraft with okay fps and graphical textures.

Cons: Custom direct x 10 drivers have to be used for xp to run this card which causes xp to hang up sometimes crashes and you get to see a lovely blue screen of death with a harsh video load on the card its limited but its still gets the job done sorta...

Other Thoughts: I bought this for my brother he has XP and he totally hates vista so hes the one suffering with his glitchy drivers for the card but at least hes happy now.

5 out of 5 eggsHybrid SLI?

Pros: If your shopping for a card to do Hybrid SLI Nvidia only made 2 GPUs to do this the 8400gs and the 8500gt check your bios where it asks what display to run first and see if it has a setting to run both at the same time. Onboard and PCI x slot If you can run Hybrid SLI do so and then see how some of these games run then.

Cons: None if this is what you want

Other Thoughts: I would say that buying a better card in the 9 series range may be better than doing the hybrid SLI mode don't take it out on Zotac they are great. Just be honest on what you want out of your graphics and buy appropiately

5 out of 5 eggsawesome card awesome price

Pros: AWESOME PRICE!!! Good card gets the job done. I would say this card can run all current games, but with low settings of course. Very attractive card design. It is blue and the heatsink has a picture on it along with a quiet orange fan.

Cons: Pretty old technology that is not as great as the newer stuff.

Other Thoughts: Great bang for your buck.

4 out of 5 eggsBang for buck - Killer!

Pros: Price. Performance. Took a base machine with intergrated graphic that scored 1800 on a 3dmark bench mark to 8009 on same bench mark. And for the the first time saw detail on the troll toss part of the benchmark! For the price it was a cheap way to increase test scores 400%! No heat issues but the case is well ventilated.

Cons: The card has a large-ish profile and is going to prevent using an adjacent pci slot. Not an issue for me at the moment. I guess thats the trade off for adequate heatsink and fan.

Other Thoughts: for a budget boost - this card made our new dually truly awesome!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Had it a week now, great card so for. replaced intergrd nvidai 6150, so this was a huge jump up, wow. graphics or great, boost my CP performance 100%+. the 2nd processor dedication took load off my CPU big time. I'm running it in a HP Pavillian w/ AMD Athlon 64 x 2 Dual-core 5600+ W/ a 300w PS (np) runs just fine. card runs cool, ran jst a tad load no bad. I play WOW & RLC /card impoved game play 100% / game settings @ 90 - 100 % great gameing-for these two games. I would reconmen this / conparing price and the 512MB of memory you can't beat it. So for those looking for a great card and trying to save a buck, well here you go.

Cons: really none so far, only had card 1 week. Maybe the fan, just a tad load but not bad at all.

Other Thoughts: * I'm thinking I made a great deal*

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good, for what it is...

Pros: Can play Halo on highest settings...
Overclocks very well.

Cons: None so far...

Other Thoughts: Read a lot of reviews online about the 256MB version and this one. Got a lot of poor reviews, but I'm not sure why. For under $60, this is a very nice upgrade from the integrated graphics I had previously.
Downloaded nTune, got the GPU running at 789MHz (huge improvement from stock 459MHz) and memory at 505MHz. Running memory higher than that causes PC to crash, but still, an extra 105MHz for free is a good deal.
Runs cool, haven't seen 50c yet. Fan is pretty quiet too.
Great purchase, as long as you keep in mind this is meant to be an entry level card.

5 out of 5 eggsgood card

Pros: good cheap 8500 gt, not very loud fan

Cons: gets kind of hot, but it doesnt really matter considering you can get a 512 mb 8500 gt for such a low price

Other Thoughts: if your looking for an 8500, definately go with this one for the mail-in rebate as you would only be paying about $35 total... but i wouldnt recommend this card if you're into high-end games such as age of conan, crysis, bioshock, etc.
