4 out of 5 eggsDecent for the $

Pros: Simple install, Plug & play (XP Pro). Runs clean & tight. Haven't noticed any burps with limited level of use (home/home office user - no high end video or number-crunching/gaming). Cheap PCIe x16. Quiet w/ no fan.

Cons: None for this implementation. Could get hot for others putting more load on it. More RAM is always nice but look at the price.

Other Thoughts: Simple home user w/ simple Athlon LE1600 & 2 GB PC2-5400 pushing XP for basic computing. Offloads video memory from system RAM to keep OS snappy.

4 out of 5 eggsOK

Pros: Works without any issues for my basic use, haven't tried any gaming or graphic intensive application to push it any further.

Cons: None really, it's the lowest price card I could find and it's working as or better than expected.

Other Thoughts: I hope it lasts, I've heard "you get whatchya pay for"?

5 out of 5 eggsNot bad for the price

Pros: Much better then the Intel 945G on board on my new desktop computer, actually plays quake 4 on low detail at a very respectable framerate (even through I realize its not for gaming) Also plays Doom 3 on low settings smoothly.

Like how there is a heatsink instead of a fan to make things quieter.

Cons: If there is one thing I am going to gripe about , its TurboCache built into the VGA Card. Like Onbard video, this system also does a shared memory deal. But so far I have not noticed any performance hitches.

Other Thoughts: This is the cheapest Geforce 7 series I have ever come across. I did some shopping in the other stores and Newegg blows away the competition by a comfortable lead.

4 out of 5 eggsnot a great card for HTC

Pros: It makes no noise. For a Home Theater System or PVR it is great.

Cons: Refresh rate is too high in (Bios and boot menu) DOS based booting for analog TV. It runs great once into Media center or Vista.

Other Thoughts: Need to use the supplied SVID to RCA video input

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: I've used this card in several different machines around the office. I pop in the card, load the drivers, and in just a few minutes we're up and running with dual monitors.

Cons: Doesn't come with VGA to DVI adapter, so I've been purchasing those separately. They're not expensive, it's just a nuisance.

Other Thoughts: I don't like having to take my users offline for too long, so the quick and easy installation is great. They're down for maybe 15 minutes, and that includes the time it takes me to get the monitors set up physically as well.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat SDTV Card

Pros: Cheap. Low profile. TV Out.

Cons: Not a gaming card at all

Other Thoughts: I purchased this card to use for a low profile HTPC computer running Gentoo64 (My wife and I have decided to use our quickly disappearing money for other things than buying a HDTV). The card runs a bit hot, but it's fanless and low profile, which makes it perfect when you have women around who hate noise and large, bulky computers. Don't expect much performance from this card, as it's almost equivalent to a Geforce 6200 from the previous generation. If you're not playing games and just want a TV out on your card though, this will work perfectly.
