5 out of 5 eggsdecent

Pros: easy install, fan-less = quiet

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: purchased in Feb of 2010 to give a old machine more life and it works well as a general video card; you can do a whole lot worse

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good for those times when you need it cheep and aren't trying to do anything more intense than lookin at google earth for a minute.

Power Saving and Price to Performance Ratio.

The fanless cooler.

Cons: None , you can't go wrong with this , it's the defacto default standard AGP 8x card.

Other Thoughts: It's not the power color AX4890

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: For its price, this is a fairly decent card. Running a 17 inch monitor for over a year it did nicely, but...

Cons: ...I recently decided to upgrade my monitor to a 32" 1080p display. Using DVI, the card will not display at full 1080p resolution for me.

Other Thoughts: I bought this card because I was very short on cash, and needed something in a pinch. That is what I would recommend it for: a low-cost temporary solution.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: Card works as expected. I bought it to put in a fairly weak machine I was throwing together just for the heck of it.

Cons: None really.

5 out of 5 eggsGood video for AGP system

Pros: No fan, so it is silent. Onboard 256MB frees up the system memory. Works under Windows 7 with Vista drivers.

Cons: Performance is not fantastic, but about what I would expect from this older technology.

1 out of 5 eggsZotac ZT-52FA250

Pros: Worked for 3 months without problems.

Cons: I replaced this 256mb card to upgrade my computer. After, 2 months it started rebooting, and after 5 months my computer would only boot into safe mode where I could see the desktop. When I put in the old video card all was well.
I called Zotac six times to set up an RMA without success.
Finally I called Newegg who refunded my money, because I won't buy another Zotac product.

Other Thoughts: This card needs a fan, it was way to hot when I replaced it. Make sure you get a fan.

3 out of 5 eggsDoes not support 720p or 1080i/p

Pros: Unknown, would not work in my application so couldn't judge quality

Cons: 5200 series GeForce does not support 720p or 1080i/p directly and did not have a full resolution VGA output mode that my HD1080p TV supported; would work with one or two lower resolution standard monitor modes like 1280x1024 but not the 1920 x1024 mode. Other TV's might. S-video output just gave a distorted picture.

Other Thoughts: Card limitation not clear from information on web site. Had to get "not supported" information from manufacturer web site.

4 out of 5 eggsgreat basic card

Pros: cheap, does what it should, drives my tv at 1080p resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels). Still works 3 months later.

Cons: could be less expensive?

Other Thoughts: none
