5 out of 5 eggsafter 3 years it dies

Pros: Worked like a champ, rendered Daz Studio quickly, played all games that I threw at it flawlessly. I am not into Halo 3 or anything but it did play the sims 3 really really well. it get's 5 eggs for being such a good card. Handled 2 monitors without effort.

Cons: Died after 3.35 years, I expected at least 4 from it.

Other Thoughts: I took a chance on this card, no one had reviewed it before me and I must say that it worked flawlessly. Although I would rather have more years out of it, I really cannot complain. I would definitely buy another Zotac video again, I loved it, but this time I'll spend a little more on it and get some pipelines and other goodies too.

3 out of 5 eggsNot what I expected

Pros: It pushes pixels to a monitor. Without drawing a lot of power.

Cons: As of Feb '09, this wasn't the card to buy. It'll never again be the card to buy. I thought from the spec it'd drive a DVI-D monitor (30" LCD) but noo, not at all. It doesn't make sense to me to buy this card for any reason; a few more dollars gets you a lot more capability, and a hundred more dollars gets you an order of magnitude more capability (e.g., Zotac GTS250)

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap?

Cons: Awful card, works better than my other comps AGP card but that's only when it works. NOT SLI compatible and will crash out randomly and reboot my system, even with updated drivers. Fan seems kind of cheap and runs a little hot.

Other Thoughts: I love NVIDIA cards, so when I bought this one I was excited to find one so cheap....guess I got what I paid for.
Newegg did a great job and shipping was really fast.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes what I need

Pros: I'm not a gamer and did not need a card for gaming purposes. For a general use PC that runs MS Office and checks email, it works just great.

Cons: None, does what I needed it to do.

Other Thoughts: Home built system.
WinXP Home, Intel E5200, 2 GB RAM (kingston 800MHz), on an Asus P5QL board. I was impressed after install, its a heckuva lot faster than my old P4 system!!!!!

Runs Ubuntu well, have not had any problems.

1 out of 5 eggsWould not buy again

Pros: Ran Windows XP wonderfully to surf and do general Web browsing

Cons: It would hang the system any time that i put a small load on it such as World of Warcraft w/ the lowest settings possible. Updated all drivers and still no good.

Other Thoughts: I bought this card as a low price upgrade to onboard graphics, and what I got was 2 DOAs, after 3 weeks of mailing back and forth, Newegg finally made it right and refunded. Bought an ATI Radeon HD 4350, plugged it in and BAM, perfect

5 out of 5 eggsDiscrete GPU based card

Pros: Zotac Video Cards are the fast up and comer that has received great reviews. I actually have the 9600 gso card and it is awesome. Check out the reviews for their graphics products most all of them are 5 egg reviews believe these people.

Cons: Not a con but I am pretty sure this card is rated as a discrete GPU to make it Hybrid SLI compatable to work with onboard ge-force grapics based boards. Do some research on multiple card SLI compatibility

Other Thoughts: I suggest the person with the SLI issue should contact Andrew Engle at andrew@zotacusa.com because these are great cards and the company wants you to be happy with your product

5 out of 5 eggsYour Momma will like this!

Pros: Why? Because my momma does. I built a htpc for the parents, and needed an hdcp video card to play bluray discs. I was skeptical that this card could handle the output (I am running a P4 3.8ghz with 3 gigs of 4200 RAM), all of which push the video out just fine. Well, I was pleasantly suprised by what this card can handle- not only 1920x1080 .avi and .mkv resolution and decoding, but does a great job without a single instance of stuttering in bluray movies.

Cons: Eh, not much. Buy this for light video encoding/decoding and viewing. Not for gaming.

Other Thoughts: I'm falling in love with Zotac, not just because of price, but overall value. I'm running two 9800 GTX's in SLi at in my gaming rig, this card in my media server, and one in my parent's PC. Can't beat 'em!

5 out of 5 eggsSLI

Pros: all good

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: the SLI mode for this card is software, NOT hardware so there is no SLI cross board you put on to connect the 2 cards. you need a SLI software base mobo to run SLI
