5 out of 5 eggsWEI went WHEE (6.7)!

Pros: My Windows Experience went from 3.8 (HD 5450) to 6.7 with this adapter1

The fan spins up (and is noisy) on boot, but then immediately goes almost silent.

Cons: None, although even on sale, wished that it was less expensive.

Other Thoughts: I know that the WEI isn't suppose to mean much, but it bothered me that my system, which is pretty fully-loaded (intel I7, 48GB of RAM) was showing only 3.8 WEI. Got this on a sale at the Egg, and glad that I did.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Value

Pros: Good graphics performance for the price. I bought it when it was on sale and have had no problems with it. Not a good gaming card for an HDTV but that's not why I bought it. I bought it as a value HTPC card. It runs cool and didn't add noise to my computer (not that it was silent anyway).

Cons: None. Good packaging and great value. Arrived in 3 days with eggsaver shipping.

Other Thoughts: Would buy this again for the sale price if given the chance.

5 out of 5 eggsGt 240

Pros: Low power consumption, Low cost, Great budget card

Cons: None but buy this card for what it is

This may be my system but windows tried downloading the hardware drivers but kept failing/saying there weren't any available even after I had downloaded it off the Zotac Disk. I just let windows run its thing and it gave up but still lists it as an important update. Not an issue for me.

Other Thoughts: Got a windows score of 5.7 on an old lga 775 Vista 32 bit. Runs MMORPG's like WoW, Shaiya, And Diablo 2&3 at 1360x768 with 40+ framerates. First person shooters I believe may be another story if new releases. Best card I had found on here short of the $120 range. Amazing for price.

5 out of 5 eggsGT 240

Pros: This GPU replaces my old NVIDIA GeForce 7300 le on my Gateway computer from ~2007. The 7300le kept crashing my system when I was playing World of Tanks so thought it was time to upgrade. Using the computer was becoming such a headache I was thinking about buying a new one, but this $40 card is all I needed! The GT 240 is a huge improvement. I now have a high frame rate (>60fps) on standard settings in World of Tanks, which is good enough for me. World of Tanks runs so smooth now and that's the most demanding program that I run. It was simple to install. It doesn't require much power, I think just 70w, so it works fine with my small power supply. It's very quiet.

Cons: NONE. For what it is, this is a great card.

Other Thoughts: Great replacement for the NVIDIA GeForce 7300 le.

4 out of 5 eggsOutstanding

Pros: Great card for the money. It raised by score to 6.7, which is higher than what I got with a competitors superior card. I am not a gamer, I just want to see if Keith Olbermann shaved when I watch Countdown.

Cons: Absolutely none.

Other Thoughts: This product came with a special offer from nvidia for free downloads ofPowerdirector 8 HE and Street Fighter IV. The code on the coupon for Powerdirector is listed as invalid by nvidia. You can get Streetfighter free if you pay for Powerdirector. I wish companies (nvidia) would honor their commitments rather than run a con. It hurts the reputation of nvidia and the company I purchased the product from - newegg.

3 out of 5 eggsAlright

Pros: Very quite and efficient, runs games decently and runs F@H very well, scoring around 3.5-5k PPD at factory clocks.

Cons: Slower than the nearly equally priced 9800GT

Other Thoughts: Great new card, I love them for F@H considering the low heat output and power consumption. But once again, for much else there are better options, Nvidia has dropped the ball in the lower end.
