3 out of 5 eggsstill no rebate

Pros: card works great for me...

Cons: sent in rebate 1/20/2011 of this year. WOW, here we are 6 months later and still no rebate. don't count on the rebate.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear customer,
I’m sorry to hear that you have not received your rebate. Sometimes there are delays if the information provided on the rebate is inaccurate. In any case, I recommend you contact our rebate department at rebate@zotacusa.com with your issue. You can expect a response within 1-2 business days. I’m glad that you are otherwise enjoying our video card.

5 out of 5 eggsAwsome card

Pros: Runs any game I throw at it (Force Unleashed 2, Portal 2 etc.), Runs quiet

Cons: Having bought 2 of these for SLI, they fill up half of my mid size case

Other Thoughts: Customer service was quick to help when I had not recieved my rebate.
It looks like it runs hot at first, but when checking on running temps, these are normal (about 70c)
I've used Zotac cards before and have never had a problem, great company, great product.

1 out of 5 eggsZotac=nogo

Pros: None

Cons: Burns out too fast.

Other Thoughts: Zotac sent me an RMA Video card, had it for barely 2 weeks, and it quit working. waiting for a response to new rma and want my money back from them. Long story short, never buy from Zotac.

Manufacturer Response:

I apologize for your experience with ZOTAC product. After checking with RMA department, it sounds like that's the power supply burning our video card. Please contact with our Tech Support with Hansel von Muller, hansel@zotacusa.com.

2 out of 5 eggsGood video card...at first

Pros: Runs good for awhile

Cons: Had my card for 3 months, had it conk out at the beginning of may, rma'd it and got my replacement today. Zotac could have a good card for the 460's, but to do so, they need to rework the entire heat sink and cooling issue. The fan locks at 70% speed on manual, which sucks, the card is always running hot compared to the old 460 I have installed, and it has a tendency to run close to overheat when playing older games.

Other Thoughts: Overall, Zotac bites when it comes to the cooling department. If they want a video card to last, they should rework the heatsink and fan issue, maybe even taking a page out of Palit's book for it by using a fan that covers most of the video card and isn't limited to certain speeds.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear RFAurora,
I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing overheating on one of our video cards. While there are multiple factors that could lead to this, it is very possible the air flow within your case is poor. I recommend you email our technical support team at support@zotacusa.com (or visit our website for other methods of support) to double check your issue, they will be able to provide you with further assistance. Thank you, and I hope your issue is resolved.

1 out of 5 eggsThink Again

Pros: It runs great on default; just note that when you OC you will hear the fan but that’s not a problem still ran great.

Cons: I had my card for months but then the card bugged out on me. It took me a week to trace it was the card; in the end I had changed it with 2 Radeon 4890’s in Crossfire to make sure it wasn’t my board, memory and such. So they gave me a RMA without any issue but that’s when the trouble began. So I wait for like a month to get the replacement card and they send me what looks like another RMA. It was covered in dust and package in a bubble wrap and a piece of tape with a hand written model number on it. So this late after getting the card I was ready to take anything. I use some can air to clean it up some and put in my PC. As soon as I run Black Ops it crashes; Like 5 times trying to get it to work. So after paying to send my card for another RMA card I get to do this all over again. USPS says that my package was received 5/18 but Zotac has not sent me and acknowledgement yet. So next week I would have been without a working card for 2 months and I’m still waiting to see what kind of card

Manufacturer Response:

I'm sorry about that. ZOTAC USA offers a standard 2-year warranty on all video card products. I'm sure ZOTAC will give you a replacement if you are under warranty. Can you please send me your name, item number, serial number to sandy@zotacusa.com so I can follow up for you personally, and make sure your card will send out ASAP? Thank you.

5 out of 5 eggsNot bad, not bad at all

Pros: So far this card has delivered everything i expected from it. It is perfect for the casual to moderate gamer. I've had no issues with it so far. You get what you pay for when it comes to video cards, and for a person on a budget this card is simply one of the best you can purchase.

Cons: none

3 out of 5 eggsReally new egg? Really?

Pros: Works beautifully! (When I can actually get it to work! But that may or may not be fault of the card.)

Cons: I don't have a powerful enough PSU! I bought an antec BP550 at the same time as this beautiful card, thinking that it would be more than powerful enough to run it. However what Newegg fails to mention is that the card won't run if your PSU doesn't have a minimum of 24 amps on your +12V rails! I wasted 200 bucks on this in order to be unable to use it at all. Isn't that lovely?

Other Thoughts: I would suggest to everyone buy from somewhere other than newegg. Somewhere that actually gives you the necessary product information. (Such as required amperage! Amperage is just as important as wattage!) Both of the parts I bought for this project have had something wrong with them (The PSU first) only by the time it's all been figured out. It's too late to return anything.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Video Card

Pros: Price is good. Better than the 2 gts 250's I had before running sli together. Play's all games smoothly: crisis2, black ops, battlefield, etc. I run this at max quality with no issues. Over Clocks nicely, haven't tride pushing it to much though.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Card

Pros: Card is fast and handles all my games with maxed out settings! Counter-Strike: Source runs a solid 300FPS (capped at 300) and Black Ops plays with no lag!

Cons: None at the moment!

Other Thoughts: Wish I had 2!

1 out of 5 eggsZotac Won't honor rebate

Pros: Card itself works fine, but any other card with same chipset will do the same. Buy card with more reputable manufacturer.

Cons: Customer service is horrible. Waited four months for rebate, contacted customer service and finally got email response. After sending in all information again three weeks ago, still no response.

Other Thoughts: I will not buy product again from this manufacturer, and hope others will heed warnings. OK product if you are not concerned with getting rebate back.

Manufacturer Response:

I sincerely apologize for your experience with contacting us in regards to your rebate. If you still require assistance please contact me at Patti@zotacusa.com. Thank you!
