4 out of 5 eggsGood for Folding

Pros: I am using this as a dedicated Folding@home card, and it is working quite well, achieving 4890 ppd at the moment on p8019. That is a somewhat fast work unit though, and the more ordinary ones will be about 4400 ppd, and the hard ones even less. But I am quite happy with the efficiency, as it is getting about 110 ppd/watt, which is quite nice.

It runs at a cool 58C, but that is in a cool basement room with a side fan blowing on it, along with a GTX 560 Ti as noted below.

Cons: The fan, though not loud, has a slight rumble that I would find a little annoying if I were always next to it. But this PC is in a back room, and I do not hear. However, I think fans can and should be quieter, and so I am knocking off one egg for it.

Other Thoughts: This is the second card in that PC dedicated to Folding, the other one being a GTX 560 Ti. I am glad that they get along fine together with the latest v1.52 Folding client, which is not always the case when you try to fold with different cards on the same motherboard. And I chose this one so as to not overload my Seasonic 330 watt power supply, which handles them both just fine.

4 out of 5 eggsgood little card

Pros: Will run anything I want it to.

Cons: Little noisy.

Other Thoughts: Don't hold your breath on the rebate. Mine was completed and (approved) 83 days ago and still nothing. Keep getting the responce back that it takes 8 to 10 weeks for it to process after approval. 83 divided by 7 is almost 12. hmmmmm

Manufacturer Response:

Hi Anon,

If your rebate was approved, it might have just gotten lost in the mail. Send me an email at juliette@zotacusa.com with your full name so we can re-confirm the status of your rebate and resend your check!

Thanks,
Juliette

4 out of 5 eggswell worth it

Pros: the size is great, rather quite, idles at 30c sometimes lower, hasn't gotten above 55c.

the graphics are great for the price, more then capable of running the newer games, and even their low settings still look good.

ddr5 ram was the main reason i decided to go with this card and i really feel like its what makes this card as good as it is.

Cons: the only con i have is with how the card fit in my case, the hdmi plug was just slightly to far over for the cord to fit. i ended up getting a display port cord. while i blame this more on the case then the card, it is still something to take note of(the only reason i made it a 4 star)

Other Thoughts: i received my rebate in a timely manor i suggest going to their site and registering the card and then doing their online rebate form, it only took 10 days from when i mailed it to when i get the rebate check.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid card

Pros: Good Card, Able to Run Starcraft 2 at 1080 High Def Setting with "High" settings and smooth framerates. Looks a lot better than the card that it replaced (it fried).

I was also happy that it did not require separate power as this machines power supply did not have the connector that other cards require.

The card was small too - Double wide on the slots but many cards are so long they run into my cabling for the motherboard power and the Hard drives SATA and Power. This thing was about 6 inches long so I had no problems installing it and thankfully didn't have to rearrange all the other cabling to squeeze it in.

I didn't bother with the driver disk instead I just downloaded the latest drivers directly from nVidia.

Cons: Was not able to get the "Ultra" settings on Starcraft II using this card. But it looks great still.

Other Thoughts: In hindsight I might have been better off with a 550TI as this is to be the last video card I put in this computer.

5 out of 5 eggsSeems good

Pros: Short card no supplementary power needed. I don't usually bother too much about video cards as I'm not a gamer, this one was installed in a clients machine and he seems happy with it.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Excellent product at an excellent price. Got this on Black Friday, and if I wasn't stupid enough that I forgot to send in the mail in rebate, it'd've been $30 after the instant and mail in rebate. Runs most of my games at full quality smoothly.

Cons: Not the highest end of cards, but still very very good for its price range.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect For PhysX

Pros: This card make a great PhysX card, though it might be a little slow for a main GPU. But as a PhysX card it works perfectly, very pleased.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I bought it for PhysX, so i cant say for sure how well it would run a game on its own. Zotac all the way. Highly recommend the brand.

5 out of 5 eggsbetter then 8600gt obvi

Pros: i don't own this product yet but i'm defiantly buying. it my build will be in other thoughts any way my old build is amd Athlon dual core 8600gt 4gb of ram and a terabyte of HDD.
that build will run crysis (Awesome Game!!!!!) at some medium settings and some high (mostly medium). ps i copyed the same review from another one i wrote because i switched graphics card cause this one's memory is faster

Cons: Don't have it yet and i doubt there will be any.

Other Thoughts: my new build is, Rosewill CHALLENGER Black Gaming ATX Mid Tower Computer Case, comes with Three Fans,
ZOTAC ZT-40704-10L GeForce GT 440 (Fermi) Mb,
Rosewill HIVE Series HIVE-650 650W Continuous @40°C, 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified, Modular Design, Single +12V Rail, ATX12V v2.31/EPS12V,
Patriot G Series ‘Sector 5’ Edition 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333,
AMD Phenom II X4 970 Black Edition Deneb 3.5GHz,
ASUS M4A87TD EVO AM3 AMD 870 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard, I have not bought any of this yet but I Will for sure also I'm buying all of this on new egg for and this is exact price after shipping $487.38 tho your shipping will very due to the fact that you don't have my zip code so if your budget is $500 dollars then defiantly go with that build cheap and power full. and the motherboard and processor, and PSU and case are bought in a bundle (case and power supply are seperate from motherboard and processor)
