1 out of 5 eggsNever Buy Zotac

Pros: When this card worked, it worked great. Quiet and no overheating (although I didn't push this card very much).

Cons: The problem is this card only worked 50% of the time without tearing, ripping, artifacts, and distortion. Also, just Google all of the display driver crash errors that come along with this card. Contacted Zotac directly to see if they ever planned on updating the bios or firmware for this card to no avail. I wound up eating this card and buying another because I waited to long to return it thinking (like an idiot) that this company would actually help resolve the performance issues.

Other Thoughts: I will never buy another brand I don't know and trust.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Decent card when it works.

Cons: This card requires you to unlock and increase the voltage on it to run with BF3. Have to run MSI afterburner and bump the voltage to 1.025 manually to get it stable. Otherwise it randomly crashes. I believe this is true for most new games.

Zotac support is horrible. Forums have been, and continue to be awash with evidence and posts with owners of this card having issues (and the fix.) Zotac refuses to fix the BIOS.

Other Thoughts: Do not buy this thing. For any reason.

Pros: got mine from amazo n at a discount price of $230...mine seems to have come with the bios update (that raises the core voltage) pre-installed so i didnt have any problems so far

Cons: temps are a bit high .. idles at around 72 C with crysis 2 and at around 62 C with diablo 3 ...only tried these games so far and it ran them at top settings with excellent performance

1 out of 5 eggsnever again

Pros: none, they don't work!

Cons: crashes constantly in gaming especially when using SLI Surround, loud fans, runs hot, exhaust into case, terrible support, rebates-?? been 4 months and nothing yet

Other Thoughts: promised a bios update from support and it never was sent.
mailed my rebates out and never recieved anything.
finally after several attempts to resolve crashing issues I recieved a RMA good for 15 days at my expense to ship both cards.
IT WOULD HAVE BEEN CHEAPER TO BUY A BETTER CARD FROM A DIFFERENT Manufacturer

NEVER Zotac again!

1 out of 5 eggsDo NOT buy Zotac

Pros: Playing Skyrim on Ultra.

Cons: After 45 days of use the card sparked and nearly lit my carpet on fire. The next day I tried contacting Zotac and they jerked me around for about 3 days before I actually talked to someone at the company. At which point I had to wait 3 more days for the RMA to get approved, which is today(12/8/11). Now they are telling me that I have to pay more money to ship it to them so they can look at it. It sparked what more is there to look at! Also it seems that they only have 1 kid working there because when I try sales/cust. srv./rma departments it's always that same kid. When I asked why I must pay more money on top of the $350 for THEIR defective product the kid told me he can't answer that question. I will never buy another Zotac product in my life. My brother also got a 550 from them shortly after I got mine and it runs at 80 Celsius. When other cards run at 60 full load.

Other Thoughts: Im not sending the card. I am going to trash it and buy an ASUS.

4 out of 5 eggsAMP 570

Pros: It's a cheap, stable 570 for me. Runs everything on Ultra(Witcher 2 no uber sampling, Saints Row The Third, Skyrim, Age of Conan, Deus Ex HR, just to name a few) although probably not Battlefield 3

Cons: Zotac overclock/fan setting do not take, but you can use MSI Afterburn, Palit V-tune, etc. Fan auto setting did not keep temps under control.

Other Thoughts: Even with the nvidia contol panel override, with everything turned on (16x csaa, 16q stuttered in Age of Conan slightly) this card is rocking.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Awesome card. Runs everything I've thrown at it so far smoothly. Full day of Skyrim playing on ultra settings and no heat issues nor do I hear the fan spin up when it's under load.

Delivery was fast, as always. Thanks NewEgg!

Cons: Not too keen on the colour scheme.

Other Thoughts: I don't use a case so now I have a giant bumble-bee coloured card staring me in the face as I game.

3 out of 5 eggsgreat card, when it wants to.

Pros: runs BF3 on ultra at 1920x1080.
60C in my lan boy air

Cons: fan at 65% is noticable
ran the BF3 beta flawlessly on the BETA drivers and now that the game is out, it is horrible and the driver crashes alot, I have to get lucky to play the game.

Other Thoughts: theres what i get for trusting another company with a deal, ill just pay the extra money next time.

2 out of 5 eggsGood card marred by manufacturer issues

Pros: Usually more affordable than other manufacturers
Excellent built quality
plenty of features

Cons: Very serious instability issues

I purchased this card with the purpose of running newer DX11 games such as Battlefield 3. In the beta, Battlefield 3 crashed regularly with the event log "nvdklm display driver stopped responding and successfully recovered." At the time I assumed the beta game and beta drivers were at fault, so I thought nothing of it.

However after the game came out the issue kept coming up. It also reared it's head in other games such as Civilization 5 and Rage. Investigating this it turns out reference cards of the same design had the same issues and it was traced back to the stock voltage. These cards were all clocked at .963v. Using MSI Afterburner I upped the voltage to 1.038v and it seems to have mostly mitigated the issue.

Other Thoughts: I have kept the card as it is working for me after my tweaks. However, other manufacturers have released bios updates to fix the voltage issue permanently whereas Zotac has ignored the users bringing this to their attention. Until Zotac releases a new bios, I can't in good conscience recommend this card. You may want to look to EVGA or Gigabyte as they have responded to the community and released fixes.
