1 out of 5 eggssave your money!

Pros: sharp crisp displays as long as they work. Price until you find you get what you pay for

Cons: Everything...I have had 2 of these replaced as a set 2 times in each year since ordering. They just overheat and shut down without warning even when cooling system upgraded and only on normal settings in battlefield

Other Thoughts: First RMA was nice they upgraded the cards so I could maintain my SLI setup...about 5 week turn around. Second time they wanted to send 2 different cards that would be useless in SLI setup and acted as if it wasn't their problem because one card was an upgraded model. After replying I don't care what they send I would sell it and get something more reliable they informed me they would no longer warranty the new cards. Poor customer service poor quality a couple of dollars more and you can save yourself what has become a yearly hassle for failing products. Would not recommend to my enemy... I would give them zero eggs but that wasn't an option

3 out of 5 eggsOk

Pros: I love it, and it was great work on my 23in LED ACER with DVI and I had My 46in Toshiba with HDMI.

Cons: Bought it in AUG and now its MAR. My 46 blinks or flashes and the card resizes constantly moving my ICONs evertime. When the 46 is off and unplugged my 23in blinks. I can understand why.

Other Thoughts: I upgraded to a 2gb 256bit and no problems anymore.

3 out of 5 eggsZotac GeForce 550Ti

Pros: Solid card, runs without any problems.

Cons: Card wise none. Company is extremely slow with working on rebates, that is if they ever even send it.

Other Thoughts: Card came with a rebate, but it has now been nearly 3 months and no rebate was given yet. Contacted Zotac customer support 3 weeks ago and it is still on pending status. They stated to hope it would be send out within 2 weeks.

2 out of 5 eggsPoor output functionality - not very versatile

Pros: It worked the way it said it would.

Cons: Spanned HDMI only, Overscanned monitor

Other Thoughts: I should have read more, my fault, but I bought this card to run two independent HDMI screens. It will NOT do this, it will create a single spanned screen if you connect two monitors, which is not what I wanted.

Also on my Viewsonic VX2453mh-led monitor I have to set the resolution down from true HD to 1804x1014. Not sure if this is the card or the monitor, to be honest. I don't feel like troubleshooting.

5 out of 5 eggsJust what my system needed.

Pros: Just powerful enough to run everything on max without breaking the bank. Easy to use over clocking software is included.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Had a small problem when i first installed it with a Steam game. Eventually found out it was the MoBo. Zotac customer support replied the morning after i had my ticket in, and were very helpful

5 out of 5 eggsWorthwhile Upgrade For Me

Pros: Upgrade from a GT-120 to this Zotac GTX 550 Ti. What a difference. Graphics WEI went from 5.3 to 7.3. I can occasionally hear the fan when the card is under a load, but it's not enough to be bothersome.
No issues with my 400 watt PSU.
On sale, free shipping, and a rebate to boot. That made it a no-brainer.

Regarding the rebate; I've gotten countless rebates over the years, but I've never gotten one as quickly as the one from Zotac. 10 days and the check was in my hands. Register your product, apply online rebate form, and mail in all required info.

Cons: I had to bend the "feet" on the mounting bracket just a touch to get the card to seat properly. May have been an issue with my case rather that the video card.

Other Thoughts: Maybe a con for Windows 7 rather than Zotac, you can have audio thru HDMI but at the expense of audio thru PC speakers. You have to choose, one or the other.

I didn't even bother with using the CD to install drivers, just when straight to the website for that.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes its job

Pros: Works like its intended. Cheaper than other brands. I knew what i was buying and took a chance with this. Im happy with what i got and for what i spent.

Cons: Its not a GTX600 series?

Other Thoughts: So many bad reviews on their rebates and yet i got mine in less than a month. If you follow directions like they asked you would get yours that quick too. Seems like all the negative reviews are from people that dont know as much as they let on.

4 out of 5 eggsIt works..

Pros: Its a gtx500 series card? Its not a dead card...

Cons: Really dont like how they have the fan/case setup on this card. The cooling is something not to like.

Other Thoughts: Its a cheap card, you get what you pay for. I only bought it for my wife so she could play modern games. This manufacturer has alot of negativity on their forums about their GPU's and rebates. I knew what i was getting into when i bought it though. If i was gonna get a good card i would have went E_GA.

3 out of 5 eggsIt's great for games....

Pros: I've never had a card that could really run a game on max settings before, but now this card is doing just that with current-generation games, and they look phenomenal. The card itself is aesthetically appealing, and has plenty of options for display cables. I spent weeks waiting for the most power for the least amount of money. I snagged this for $120 here on Newegg which was $30 off, and an additional $30 MIR, so overall I got one of these for about $90 which ain't bad.

Cons: I actually do have 3 screens connected to my PC, and the advertised "Three independent displays" falls just a little short. This requires you to use the 2 HDMI outputs on the card for this to work, and those will act like one long display. I have a weird setup with 2 LCD screens that take DVI connections down below my wide-screen HDTV on which I do my gaming. So if I want to use the 3 displays I would have to hook up a VGA cable to my HDTV, and an HDMI adapter to my lower monitor, and a dvi cable on the other monitor. Kind of inconvenient, and expensive if you don't have the cables, and VGA display on an HDTV just seems wrong. So I ended up just having to install my old shoddy video card beside this one so it could handle my multi-display needs.

Also, HDMI output to my insignia 32" TV doesn't work at all. The port works, just not with my HDTV. I had to connect a DVI to HDMI cable up to display on my HDTV to get it to display correctly on m HDTV. I am disappoint.

Other Thoughts: If and when I buy another card and put it in SLI, my multi-display woes will mostly be resolved. It's just a shame that this company decided to market the 3 monitors as a selling feature, because it's so broken I actually had to install an ATI Radeon HD 4300 next to this beast in order to do what they advertised as an out-of-the-box feature.

Also, it's silly that HDMI output would not work natively on an HDTV.

But it's great for games...

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet and Efficient

Pros: *Playing WoW and D3 on highest settings with no problem, even out in firelands where there is a load of stuff, it never skips a beat or drops below 60fps
*very quiet, sitting right next to me and I do not even hear the fan
*stays cool even under load
*As always newegg delivered a day before I was expecting it

Cons: *Most likely it was just me but had a hard time getting it setup with HDMI, after playing around with it for a bit it came on and have not had a problem with it since

Other Thoughts: Upgraded from a HD5450 and could tell the difference immediately when loading a game.
