Transform your gaming experience with the ZOTAC GeForce GTX 670 powered by the latest generation NVIDIA GeForce architecture that breathes new life into PC gaming with smoother frame rates and lifelike visuals. The ZOTAC GeForce GTX 670 with new NVIDIA GPU Boost technology dynamically maximizes clock speeds on the fly for that extra performance edge in gaming scenarios when there is energy headroom available. New NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync technology delivers maximum playability by dynamically adapting the display’s vertical-sync to a game’s frame rates for unmatched smoothness on the ZOTAC GeForce GTX 670. When a single monitor isn’t enough, the ZOTAC GeForce GTX 670 is NVIDIA 3D Vision Surround ready for stereoscopic triple-display gaming that delivers unprecedented immersion.

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg Two New Anti-aliasing Modes: FXAA and TXAA Anti-aliasing smoothes out jagged edges but can be demanding on framerates. FXAA is a new antialiasing technology that produces beautiful smooth lines with minimal performance impact. And with Kepler based GPUs, you'll be able to enable FXAA in hundreds of game titles through the NVIDIA Control Panel. The second mode, TXAA, is an in-game option that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for even higher visual fidelity.
  • newegg NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready NVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology4. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs from 3DVisionLive.com in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes GOOD!

Pros: I purchased this card literally the minute it hit the self. I purchased a whole new computer when I got this card, and after 1 year and about 3 months I've got it paired with an ASUS 670 running in SLI. The two cards are AMAZING, with both of them overclocked I get better performance than a stock clock Titan.

The cards use so little power that my 1000 watt PSU doesn't even get hot when the cards are at full load.

Cons: After about one year and 1 month I got coil whine, too bad I guess. It comes and goes. I've got over the ear headphones so it doesn't both me much if at all.

Other Thoughts: I got this paired with an 8150 OCd @4.7 on a 990fx sabertooth board (not R2.0). I got SLI about a year after having it. So about 2 1/2 - 3 months ago.

2 out of 5 eggsFailed at 9 months

Pros: This card failed on me after only nine months. I put my computer to sleep like I always do and it wouldn't start back up. I forced and shutdown and couldn't so much as get a post beep. I put my old GTX 460 1G back in and it's running like a champ. I'm waiting on a reply about RMA from Zotac. This card is very large. If you plan on getting one, make sure you have the room. I had to relocate my HDD to fit it in my case.

I had to relocate my HDD to fit it in my case. I have tried to get do the RMA process and have yet to receive any sort of legitimate response from their customer service. On their site, it says you should have some sort of response within three days. The first took five and I'm now at two weeks. The response I got from them can be simplified as 'we're backed up, regards to you'.

Other Thoughts: I'm glad I kept my old card for the time being. If not I would be going on the third week without a computer right now. If it had worked fine, I would give a five star review, but it broke and the company doesn't seem to care about it's customer service at all. Because of this, I do not recommend buying anything from Zotac if you plan to return it if it breaks.

Manufacturer Response:

Hi Doug,

Was your RMA approved? I can help you look into this if you contact me at juliette@zotacusa.com and provide your full name, product name, and serial number.

Thanks,
Juliette

3 out of 5 eggsFailed at 9 months

Pros: This thing is a real beast. For the most part, it can handle most modern games at 1920x1080 with 8x AA and 16x AF. It can hang with a lot of crossfire/sli setups. It also doesn't draw a lot of watts compared to how much it can do. I also like the stock style cooler. It directs all the heat strait out of the case where it should go instead of heating the ambient air and straining my cpu fan like my old card. It also came with a five year extended warranty.

Cons: This card failed on me after only nine months. I put my computer to sleep like I always do and it wouldn't start back up. I forced and shutdown and couldn't so much as get a post beep. I had to relocate my HDD to fit it in my case.

Other Thoughts: I'm glad I kept my old card for the time being. Hopefully when I get my replacement it will last a bit longer. If not I'll just RMA it again since I have a 5 year warranty.

1 out of 5 eggsDidn't work

Pros: None

Cons: Put it in and the fan would stop working sometimes other times would speed up immediately and die again. Tried my old video card and no problem. Tried my brother's Gigabyte 670 and it worked fine. This card was just not working; it didn't run cool and it didn't run quiet.

Other Thoughts: Just drop 50 bucks more for the Gigabyte 670

5 out of 5 eggsGreat video card

Pros: Got this for $400 several months ago and even at that price it is totally worth it.
extremely powerful, runs almost all games maxed with no AA (i dont care much for AA, and im using a crt monitor) 1920x1200 at 75 fps, rarely going below 50. I almost never changed my settings to gain performance.

Cons: it got way cheaper and comes with free games now
reaches 75 c in bf3 and a few other extreme titles and is audible, but not so bad.

Other Thoughts: using it with 8GB ram, i5 3570k at 4.5 ghz. z68 extreme 3 gen 3

5 out of 5 eggsMy first Zotac

Pros: Nice quality.
Good price for reference design.
Rock Solid

Cons: Be nice if the cooler was a little more quite.

Other Thoughts: I have a pair in SLI with a very modest overclock and they rock my world for 10800p gaming via my LCD projector.

4 out of 5 eggsImpressed

Pros: -Overclockable(+100mmz core and memory so far) using afterburner
-Runs BF3 at 80 FPSish on high, 65 FPSish on Ultra paired with unlocked 4.0Ghz 960t
-Short and only 2 6 pin power connectors so no need for high wattage PSU

Cons: -Freezes after 2 minutes of playing minecraft. Not sure if that is a driver issue or what but did not happen prior to installing this card. (Had 6970)

Other Thoughts: Took 12 days to ship from LA to Ottawa. I was so anxious to get it that waiting this long was kind of a let down. Not neweggs fault. Probably what shipping depot had them in stock or something or delivery service. Thinking about SLIing another one and be set for a few more years. In the end, I would recommend this video card for price versus performance. I have always been an AMD gpu/CPU fan exclusively until now.
