2 out of 5 eggsLasted 18 months

Pros: Worked well while it lasted

Cons: Just like the title says, this thing lasted me 18 months. Perhaps my expectations were too high. I expected this to last me 2-3 years. I dont game on my PC. Just email, web surf, word documents.

5 out of 5 eggsVery happy with this ZOTAC Synergy!

Pros: nice aesthetic design, has HMDI, DVI, HDMI audio support, easy to install, comes with DVI to VGA converter

Cons: For gaming this card is OK, but not great. If you want to play the latest games, you'll need something stronger. It will run hot if you push it too far.

Other Thoughts: I bought this ZOTAC Synergy ZT-60404-10L GeForce GT 630 1GB in February 2013 after my other GFX card busted a cap and needed to be replaced.
I'm very happy with this card! ZOTAC is not as well known as other GFX card manufacturers, but from this can I say that they're not a cheapo company. Good job!

5 out of 5 eggsSurprisingly Good!

Pros: Cheap price, small size, good mid-range GPU, overclockable. Works right out off the box.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: This card works very well for medium gaming and typical daily usage, which is its intended usage. Got 6.7 WEI rating. Plays internet games very smoothly. I got this card for my wife's machine.... and she plays a lot of the facebook games. It handled all of those seamlessly... much better than any integrated GPU!

I'm quite impressed with how well this operates, for the price.

4 out of 5 eggsOne year later and still working

Pros: Have been using this card for mostly watching HD content and some light gaming (sims 3, civ v) in a low power htpc build. it still runs at the rate you would expect it to

Cons: the fan gets pretty loud at times, but what can you expect from these small high rpm fans

Other Thoughts: For a budget card you can do better but this is a good option to consider

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great little workhorse card. This was purchased as part of a super tight budget build. As long as you can look past the lackluster 3d performance of this card, and use it as more of a desktop / 2d type device, it actually performs quite well.

Cons: not really suitable for 3d gaming.

5 out of 5 eggsgood card

Pros: Purchassed in Feb for a budget build, a workhorse, not a racehorse.

Easy install, no problems as yet, and it's quiet. Brought AMD tricore apu Windows Exp Index from 4.3 to 5.7.

This was my first Zotac product and so far I'm quite happy with it.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I'm not a gamer, solitaire is the most I play, so no opinion how it would perform in that regard.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Linux support

Pros: This card works out of the box in Linux. I used Ubuntu's proprietary driver installer and it worked with no problem. Double-monitors worked without any fuss either.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I am running Ubuntu 13.10 and it has so far done me good.

5 out of 5 eggsGood budget card

Pros: I have had this card in our bedroom HTPC and it does its job. for it a budget card it handles 1080p movies and most games on moderate settings quite well, you can't expect a 60 dollar card to be a titan.....

Cons: fan can get a touch noisy, but creating a fan profile for it fixed that issue.

Other Thoughts: If you dont push the new card harder than the old you wont see a difference look at the benches this out performs the 430 if you dont understand technology dont review it. this card will make a good addition to a budget build. on a side not the 550ti is only 100 and has much better performance, it would be a better puchase if you can spare the 40 bucks

4 out of 5 eggsNVidia Rebrand

Pros: Put this card into a system that my friend owns.
Keep note, his system has a GT 430 or 440 in it.
Installed this card + installed drivers aaaand....

I'm not too terribly mad though.
Got this card on sale for $55 and I just have to fill in rebates to see if I can get a good $20 back, making this card only $35 in the end.

What this card really does have going for it, is that it's single slot and low powered [DOES NOT NEED A POWER CORD FROM THE POWER SUPPLY, JUST INSTALL IT INTO THE PCIe SLOT]. So if someone with a prebuilt system buys it and puts it in, it will be a very easy install and upgrade (if they so happen to be running integrated graphics that is, if not, it's probably not going to be an upgrade at all)

Played BRINK on this card on medium/high settings, lower resolution.
The game faired nicely and kept good FPS.
Realistically, if you play on lower res' and tweaked settings, this card is alright.

Cons: If the price truly strikes $35, that makes the card a good buy since it will out a Radeon 6450.
If not though, the Radeon 6570/6670 in the same price range DESTROYS this card.

A real set back to these cheaper, lower end card is the DDR3 mem.
BUT, that is what makes these cards cheaper and more affordable.

To be quite honest though, I don't think anyone should ever buy a low end NVidia GPU because they all tend to be rebrands OR just very poorly made (EX: GT 640, any lower 6xx card)

At the rate the NVidia is going, Radeon cards just look like the better choice.
Even if AMD CPUs blow, atleast they understand how to make a good GPU.
And mentioning CPUs + GPUs, APUs are an alright idea for extreme budgeteers.

Now I'm rambling on.

Other Thoughts: I rounded up from a 3.5 to give this card a 4.
Zotac, the company that made this card to sell me, did a good job not to send a DOA + offered a decent rebate as I already mentioned, we'll just have to wait and see if they honor it!

These GT 630s are a good value if they so happen to be on sale with an MIR, as long as it drops the card price to about $30-$40.
Anything higher, and you're just dumping your money unless you like to watch 3D movies or something...
