1 out of 5 eggsQuiter!

Pros: Silent operation. Worked great for 3 months.

Cons: Ceased to work properly after 3 months. Will only display 640x489. Won't hold settings any higher - insists on being rebooted and upon rebooting reverts to 640x480.
Zotac tech support isn't just bad - it is non-existent! This is the last item I'll ever buy with their name on it.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes the job

Pros: Silent
Runs cool enough for daily use (occasional gamer with ancient games)
Display is snappier at 1920x1200 vs the integrated graphics that had been in use
Cost effective

Cons: 2GB of RAM is overkill for this card and most of the use scenarios it will address. Could have saved a buck or two with a little less RAM.

Other Thoughts: The card has gotten daily use over nearly 4 months without any hiccups. FWIW, Windows 7 WEI Gaming/Graphics hit a 7 score. Having a quiet and capable card is a nice change of pace.

1 out of 5 eggsWorked well for a few hours, then died

Pros: - Worked well at first
- Quiet, installed well
- Drivers instlled seamlessly
- Booted up on first time fine

Cons: - Died after about two hours of use. I loaded a YouTube video and watched a few minutes then the card went blank. We restarted the computer with no luck. We tried all the troubleshooting, etc. I put an older graphics card I had in and it worked fine. The card was great and worked great for the short time it worked. I was pleased with performance and will order a new one.

5 out of 5 eggsATI Fan Boy Went Nvidia

Pros: No Noise and fan to wear out
Great price
Lots of connections
Cool temps

Cons: Mini HTML and 2 slots are used
Neither one bothers me for my needs

Other Thoughts: I get a kick out of person buying a $60 card and expecting $200 gaming results.
I can see this card perfect for a HTPC with a large enough case

3 out of 5 eggsWorked with Modification

Pros: Low price
Supports 3 displays

Cons: Takes up a lot of room in PC
Mini-HDMI connector required "special" cable
Mini-HDMI cable would not fit without modification

Other Thoughts: I bought this card because I was looking for low-priced card to run three displays. This technically worked, but I had to run out and buy mini-HDMI to HDMI cable (and then attach an HDMI to DVI adapter to that). The card takes up two slots in my PC, which I didn't like because I had to remove my TV tuner card, which admittedly I was not using (but still hope to!). But the worst thing was that the mini-HDMI connector would not fit along side the DVI connector on the back of the card. It is a very small space where that mini-HDMI connection goes. I pondered the issue and shopped other cables online, but eventually I just bit the bullet and shaved my existing cable's connector down with a razor blade. I was nervous about doing this because I have ruined cables in the past attempting this, but it worked this time. I now have three monitors running, which was my goal. It does feel good that was able to accomplish that with a card that only cost $60, but it was a hassle to get it done. Additionally, I am a little concerned that this card may not fare well with any PC gaming, but as I don't do any gaming, I guess it doesn't matter.

1 out of 5 eggsDied after 1 month

Pros: Silent, worked well for a while

Cons: First off, the heat sink is HUGE and goes down to the MB so even a MB/Case that can fit a huge 10 inch long card might not fit this card. I had to bend up the fins because they were hitting my the RAM slots on my MB.

This card worked for a month, then as I was using it (doing nothing intensive at all) my screens just went dark. I rebooted and nothing would come up. Pulled out the video card (was not even slightly warm) and used onboard video and everything worked great.

Other Thoughts: Couldn't return it since I had to bend the fins to fit my MB

4 out of 5 eggsNice card with passive cooling

Pros: 1) Totally silent.
2) Stays cool with moderately ventilated mid tower. 34C idle.
3) Scores 7.0 Graphics, 7.0 Gaming Graphics on Windows 7 Experience Index (WEI)
4) Price vs. performance ratio
5) No supplemental power needed

Cons: 1) Must register in 14 days for extended warranty. Really Zotac? Wouldn't 30 days be okay?
2) Takes up two slots but totally worth it for passive cooling
3) Doesn't use higher performing GDDR5

Other Thoughts: I would definitely buy this again when you want good performance vs. price for a passively cooled card.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: For the price (less than $60), this card is awesome. High-pro gaming isn't a strong point, BUT I'm running three monitors (all different models and, all different resolutions) with no problems. I've got the mini-hdmi port on this card going from a mini-hdmi to hdmi cable into a hdmi to DVI adapter for the third monitor because none of my monitors had HDMI.

It is everything I wanted, as 3D performance should be good enough for the little bit of classic gaming I do. (Also, as you'd expect, this thing is silent.)

I had no problems fitting it in my case and it cleared everything on my Gigabyte GA-880GMA-USB3 motherboard, but check the layout of yours before getting this card -- the heatsink does poke out a bit.

Cons: The mini-hdmi port is a bit odd and non-standard, but cables are easy enough to find at this point. That may not always be the case, though.

4 out of 5 eggsMeasure your motherboard before ordering.

Pros: All of these features in a $60 video card:

-NVIDIA GeForce GT 640 Chipset
-2GB GDDR3 Memory
-128-bit Memory Interface
-PCI Express 3.0 x16

Cons: I planned to use this video card with an Intel DH61BF MATX motherboard. The card does not fit. When placed just above the PCIe slot, the back of the heatsink rests on top of the memory slot latches and obstructs 2 of the SATA connectors.

Several other reviewers noted the size of this card so I should have heeded their warning. Not sure if I'm going to void the warranty and dremel off a few fins or send it back for an RMA. If I keep it, I'll post the results.

Other Thoughts: I got a quick response from Zotac:

I'm sorry that you have fitment issues with your devices. Dimension and complete specs of the card are given for pre-sales and for these purposes. You should have check with your motherboard support if these type of cards could be compatible in all aspects before purchase.

RMA is an option if the card is defective and still under warranty. Fitment issues is not considered as defect. You may check with your vendor if a replacement is still possible. Most of resellers are giving 30 days for return and exchange. We apologize for the inconvenience.
