A new choice in the performance range, the ZOTAC GeForce GTX 760 graphics card hits the sweet point of PC gaming with great performance at a competitive price. Based on the NVIDIA Kepler GPU, the ZOTAC ZT-70401-10P is built around 1152 CUDA processors and a 2GB/256-bit GDDR5 memory, giving you the performance you need to game stutter-free at high settings. This card is factory overclocked by a slight level for smoother gameplay. Solid capacitors ensure exceptional durability and reliability for trouble-free operation in harsh environments. It's also stacked with unique gaming technologies that make it fast, such as GPU BOOST 2.0, NVIDIA Adaptive V-Sync, NVIDIA 3D Vision Surround, and NVIDIA PhysX.

  • newegg ZOTAC FIRESTORM FIRESTORM is quick and easy, with a user-friendly interface that presents users with clock speed adjustments, fan control, and GPU monitoring functions. You can also customize and save up to five performance profiles for various load levels.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 This brand-new technology allows gamers to push PC performance to the maximum with precise controls. GPU Boost 2.0 intelligently monitors work with advanced controls – like GPU temperature target, overclocking, and overvoltage – to ensure the GPU works at the ultimate performance.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing; at low framerates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up to Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages your peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email, or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg TXAA Anti-Aliasing Anti-aliasing helps to smooth out jagged lines in games. Existing techniques like MSAA are effective at removing jagged lines in still images, but struggle with crawling and shimmering artifacts when the player is in motion. TXAA is a new anti-aliasing mode that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for the highest edge quality and minimal shimmering during gameplay.
  • newegg NVIDIA PhysX Technology Full support for NVIDIA PhysX technology, enabling a totally new class of physical gaming interaction for a more dynamic and realistic experience with GeForce.

1 out of 5 eggsWill never even consider ZOTAC card again

Pros: Low cost for a 760

Cons: Customer support was a nightmare.
The Power Requirement was mis-reported (not just on NewEgg but on the MFG site as well, it needs 600w not 500w)
Wouldn't run without issues (even with a 650w) until I used the zotac software to DOWNclock the board 100mhz and lowered the power consumption to 90%.

The Story:
I got this card because I was building on a budget. Because of that I ended up spending more. The site (newegg AND Zotac) both listed the draw at 170 (if I remember right) with recommended power supply of 500w. I got a 500w UPS because all I had was an i3, board, hard drive, and this board.

After trying to get it to work for a week, I contacted ZOTAC customer support asking how to troubleshoot the fact that my screen kept blanking (occassionally) or the whole screen would freeze and the computer would crash (more often). They told me to update all drivers, and windows, and ensure I had the required 600w UPS. I said no, I had the required 500w, and I sent them a URL in the email referencing their own spec page of this product, citing 500w. They then sent me a link to "" that had a specsheet PDF that mentioned 600w as the recommended.

Unfortunately I had already thrown out the boxes (my own mistake) or I could have returned it to newegg. Now my options were to replace the card or UPS. I opted UPS because of the above-mentioned budget. I upgraded to a 650w fully modular. I reconnected everything and now when playing games (only Borderlands 2, nothing super extreme) the screen would still blank and freeze, but came back without crashing. I had to underclock the GPU 100mhz, then lower the power usage to 90% to get it to work without blanking out and this is at a 650w UPS.

Other Thoughts: I never intended to overclock this unit, but I didn't think I'd have to UNDERCLOCK it to make it functional. I would never suggest anyone purchase this, and because of the apathetic, borderline rude, customer service I got from ZOTAC I would never suggest anyone to purchase from them in any way.

Saving the money wasn't worth the headache by a long shot.

A "to be fair" update: Some months later I finally did get an RMA and they confirmed the card to be bad and are sending a replacement. They no longer have this model, so are instead sending a 960. Let's hope it runs smoother.

5 out of 5 eggsZotac GTX 760, Very pleased with this product

Pros: -Extremely good price for what you are getting
-Reference style fan is quiet
-Direct X12, and SLI support
-Card is overclockable

Cons: -Only has reference blower style cooler, card will get warm and thermal throttle when overclocked

Other Thoughts: I purchased this card on sale, got it cheaper than I could even find on [Insert online shopping website here]. After using it for just over a month I finally decided to overclock it. I used MSi Afterburner and was able to boost it to 1254Mhz core clock and keep it stable. Unfortunately the fan has to run quite loudly to keep the card stable with too much more tweaking. Other than that I have no complaints, plays games like Planetside 2 on high/ultra in 1920x1080 Resolution with no stuttering or low FPS. If you get this card, I highly recommend an aftermarket cooler as you will be able to unlock free performance with an overclock, it has so much potential.

System specs are:
i5 4460 3.2 ghz
MSi z97 mobo
16 gig 1600mhz ram
Zotac GTX 760

2 out of 5 eggsGarbage card riddled with problems and bad support.

Pros: Cheap

Cons: I can only describe the issue as a checkerboard display. It seemed to only occur during web browsing but not gaming or anything of that sort. Problem became more and more frequent until after about a year I finally contacted support, I was sent links to a dozen different diagnostic programs they wanted me to download and use, half were full of bloatware. I opted to just deal with it until i could upgrade to another card. It got so bad at the 2 year mark i constantly crashed the video drivers from the simplest tasks and that lead to locking the computer up half the time. I still wasnt sure it was the GPU until i upgraded and magically have no problems at all anymore. I messaged their support again only to be told that Im out of warranty by 2 months, even though the packaging clearly states you have an extended warranty, and their website says extended is 3 years.

Other Thoughts: Never buying Zotac brand again. For a few bucks more buy from a better brand, its worth it to avoid the headache of RMAing this thing.

5 out of 5 eggsWork for me

Pros: I took a chance on this due to the extremely low price and despite the mixed ratings, worked well for me. Unlike a video I saw, mine came in an anti-static bag with all the stuff currently in pic #6 on here. Seems new and even had the plastic film over the branding on the front of the card. And the "new" smell. Got the extended warranty which still puts this card as an amazing deal.

Cons: None. Exactly what I was expecting.

Other Thoughts: Rebooted a couple of times to test it after reading one review where his card apparently blew, and currently writing this review on the machine with this card in it. Running in a larger case with only the base back fan, this card runs idle at 38C w/2 1920x1200 monitors. Running a few gears CL windows and a busy Wine game in Linux brought it up to 45-47C. Would likely go higher if really stressed. I can hear the fan, but it's not obnoxious, just a notable whirl.

3 out of 5 eggsZOTAC GeForce GTX 760 DirectX

Pros: product works fine, no problems

Cons: I checked the website and then checked the invoice. This product I received was NOT new. Package was not sealed. No electrostatic bag. All the plastic covers for ports and the connectors were missing. Plus one of the two items had scratches.

Other Thoughts: Be careful if this product is also being offered as a refurb in a different spot on the web page for ordering. I do believe I had a LAZY employee or an employee that was directed to send out used products.

4 out of 5 eggsReplaced, works amazing

Pros: -very quiet
-seems efficient, but don't expect the moon

Cons: Warm. All zotac run warm, if you don't want that, get another cooler, toss better paste on it, or liquid cool it. (due to actually having to do something to the card if you are going to run it hard, I dropped an egg)

Other Thoughts: It came, it died 2 restarts in, sent it back, new one came 3 days later, runs great.
2nd Time buying zotac. They run warm. Replace the paste, put a different cooler on it, more fans on your case, or liquid it. Great card for the price, I doubt I'll OC, but I did OC the zotac 550ti I replaced with the 760, and it handled it like a champ, I'm assuming this unit would also.
Seriously, don't shy away because of the reviews, if you know what you are doing, and can do what is necessary, Zotac is an amazing cheap alternative to some of the better brands.

5 out of 5 eggsSeems good but not DirectX 12

Pros: Look it up, the only 700 series DirectX 12 compatible units are the Maxwell types, 750ti and so forth. Look in Wiki for Nvidia GPU listings.

Cons: Should not mis advertize.

Other Thoughts: Probably a good card, just not DirectX 12 as advertized.

4 out of 5 eggsLove the 760

Pros: I just love the performance

Cons: HEAT!!!!

Other Thoughts: I love this video card. I am on my 2nd one. I knocked off 1 egg for how hot it runs but I am learning that might not be the cards fault. I use to use MSI Afterburner and during game play would hit about 85C. Now I use Precision X 16 and keep it set at 70C and it holds it there good.
