Step up to the NVIDIA Kepler architecture for evolved gaming and a multimedia experience with the ZOTAC GeForce GT 640 VGA card. Based on highly acclaimed 28nm Kepler architecture – the most powerful yet power-efficient GPU ever built by NVIDIA – this graphics card packs 384 CUDA processors and an abundant amount of memory, delivering a notable performance boost in both work and play. The hardware-accelerated Blu-ray 3D playback enables the ZOTAC GeForce GT 640 to render stunning stereoscopic high-definition video with compatible displays and playback software. An array of NVIDIA innovations, such as NVIDIA Surround, NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync, and the new FXAA Anti-Aliasing Mode, offers more than one way to elevate your gaming experience. Bring your entertainment and work to a new level!

  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but also for optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation, and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world-class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant, power-efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing; at low framerates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Simultaneously drive up to four independent 1080p displays for the ultimate multimedia or productivity workspace, and expand a single application across all three displays for an immersive viewing perspective.
  • newegg FXAA Anti-Aliasing Anti-aliasing smoothes out jagged edges, but can be demanding on framerates. FXAA is a new antialiasing technology that produces beautiful smooth lines with minimal performance impact. And with Kepler based GPUs, you'll be able to enable FXAA in hundreds of game titles through the NVIDIA Control Panel.
  • newegg Blu-ray 3D Support Connect your PC to any 3D-enabled TV over HDMI, and enjoy a cinematic 3D experience in your home with seamless support for 1080p Blu-ray 3D discs.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: The Zotac ZT 60210 will solve any problems you have with screen tearing & stutter. Works well. You can use this for gaming & it will work, but if you're seriously into gaming than a high end card will work better for you. I have no complaints with this card.

Cons: Nada

Other Thoughts: Works with Linux!! A big plus for me. Most if not all video cards with NVIDIA tech will function on Linux no matter what flavour of linux you are using.

1 out of 5 eggsToo wide!

Pros: Card supposedly has good specs and reviews.

Cons: Fan and heatsink make card too wide to fit into a Dell Optiplex

Other Thoughts: Wasted my time ordering this, as it won't fit into the computer I need it for. Who designs a low profile card that won't fit in a single slot?

5 out of 5 eggsRunning an HTPC with XBMC/KODI

Pros: Im using this on a budget built HTPC, I bought this at a super awesome price and it has more than exceeded my expectations. I payed a little more than 50 bucks for this after taxes and I think shipping. This amazing little card has been able to play everything I've thrown at it. From full Bluray remuxes to straight up full 3D Blurays. Plays them all beautifully with no hiccups or any problems. I'm running XBMC with this and it also fully supports DTS HDMA and Dolby TrueHD, so that is also awesome for the price. Also, this thing is not big at all, I've seen my friends video card and that thing was space consuming, taking up quit an amount of room, then again, his rig is set up for hardcore gaming.

Cons: None at all. At least til now, only been about a week or two since I've owned this.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card at a really good price

Pros: Rock solid reliability.
Great driver support from NVidia
Can't beat the price.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I bought a new super-high-resolution monitor and my old video card didn't support either the resolution or the proper connector. (It only had DVI.)

I'm not a gamer so being able to run some super new game at 200 FPS isn't important. Remember that a year or two ago this card would have been a cutting edge expensive card.

I just wanted a card that would drive my new monitor and not take up half the case with rows of cooling fans.

This card is small and easily fits into a standard case. Up to date drivers are easy to find because NVidia does a great job supporting their hardware chipsets.

Installed the card, plugged in the monitor, Win7-64 booted into 1024x768 resolution. Downloaded the latest driver and I had full resolution right away.

No problems at all with this card when running office apps, web browsing, email, videos, development, VMWare, etc. It just works nice and fast and gives me a solid video card with 2-Gig of memory for a very fair price.

If you're into serious gaming then this card might not be for you. But for everyone else out there it's a good deal on a very nice card.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: It definitely handles videos and online video streaming better than my previous card that started crashing on me.

Cons: None at this point. It seems to handle everything well. It does take up an extra slot space.

Other Thoughts: I like that I can control the fan speed and fine tune it with nVidia.
