Pros: Makes playing World of Warcraft more interesting. It even helps in dungeons and raids by allowing to see the depth of the AOE effects on the ground and how far things are from you. The image is crystal clear and sharp.

Cons: 1. My biggest complaint has nothing to do with the glasses but rather with the way World of Warcraft handles water and 3D. It looks bad.
2. When 3D kicks in, the screen gets a lot darker. I guess it's because of the way that the glasses shutter between right and left eyes at 120hz. I hope NVIDIA has a fix for this soon. My screen is super bright already and I think that turning up the brightness to compensate would damage my screen.

Other Thoughts: I wonder why Newegg stopped selling this?
When setting up drivers, I had to uninstall my exisisting NVIDIA video card drivers, reboot and install from the CD that came with the glasses then reboot again.

I loaded World of Warcraft and went to the video settings and enabled 3D shutter effect. Then I hit the option to auto configure my video settings for both normal and advanced and *Ding* the 3d looked amazing. I was in awe for a long time.

If you play wow, turn off hardware cursor if you're having a problem clicking on things. I found that if I turned off hardware cursor, I could now click on things in three demensions rather than trying to use a 2D cursor with 3D objects.
I love this thing! I just hope NVIDIA fixes how the screen gets dark when 3D kicks in.

Pros: well, these will get you into the 3D-enabled computer graphics and video worlds

Cons: it is outrageous that the 3D vision configuration wizard still has the same issues with showing mouse cursor, which is a show-stopper since you cannot complete the configuration without seeing mouse cursor, and only keyboard is just not supported

another con is the nvidia 3d video player software, which is a stripped-down version of another player, which in turn costs you 40 euros for personal use and still it won't play 90% of available video files because the player's manufacturer depends on the end user to install and configure all the right codes.

Other Thoughts: i've had these glasses for over 1 year, and what annoys me to the fullest is the 3D Vision configuration wizard, which in 75% of cases hides your mouse cursor (in either 2D or 3D mode) so that you cannot complete your 3D Vision Configuration Wizard, because the keyboard alone does not work. you have to use mouse, but you cannot see the mouse cursor, so you have to rely on UI cues to tell you whether the cursor is over "Next" button or other buttons.

that part costs me 20-30 minutes of wasted productivity time every single time i have to configure this setup.

this problem has always been there, and it is exceptionally disappointing that well after A YEAR NVidia still cannot fix this problem.

Pros: Good 3D feel, especially in Blu-ray 3D movies and in games directly supporting it (like Battlefield Bad Company 2).

Cons: With the 3D effect on, the glasses make everything extremely dark. This makes games and movies hard to watch because you miss out on the texture and details you normally enjoy without the glasses.

Also, sometimes you see a little double vision in one side of the glasses because it is not entirely working properly.

Other Thoughts: I tested the same 3D Blu-ray movies with a friend's Samsung 3D TV. With the glasses on, it did get a little bit darker, but not anywhere near as dark as with the Nvidia 3D Vision Kit. I wager that the Nvidia supplied glasses are most-likely cheaper / inferior to the more expensive TV ones.

I took it back for a refund, and I will stick with my BenQ XL2410T amazing 3D monitor and use it 2D at 120 Hz for now.

Pros: Easy, intuitive set-up; 3D effect is pretty cool!

Cons: Using 3D causes in-game graphics to be DARK! Too dark. There's something wacky happening between this and my monitor, too which is (supposedly) nVidia 3D Vision compatible (ASUS VG236). When 3D Vision is activated it freezes all the monitor's controls. I CANNOT, for instance, adjust the brightness on my monitor. Some games have a terrible "ghosting" effect on peripheral items. It makes my eyes feel funny. It would look really great if I could get rid of this ghosting, but I haven't been able to do that yet. One game that is listed as "Excellent" in the 3D capable list (Turok) has this ghosting really bad! One game listed as "Fair" actually works, imo, better than Turok: FEAR 2. And one game listed as "Fair" doesn't even work in 3D. In fact, it makes the game run AWFUL! Terrible FPS... I have to completely disable 3D Vision to even play this game (Amnesia).

Other Thoughts: This might be the deal breaker; the thing that causes me to RMA these: The way the glasses are physically designed, they hold the front side of my headphones away from my head! I do all of my gaming with headphones. Headphones are designed to get the drivers close to your ears. With the headphones held away from your head, you hear ambient noises, and ALL the low end thump goes away. I have to put the glasses on my head with the over-ear part of them way up on my head, and then I look through the glasses at a downward angle. This is so I can get the headphones over my ears the way they were designed to. nVidia REALLY needs to rethink the design of the glasses for future revisions.

Pros: Works as intended. The set up couldnt be easier, and the 3d is amazing.

Pros: This is one of the best developments since 3d graphics cards. I've tried 3d vision Dragon Age Origins, Lord of the Rings Online, Modern Warefare 2, Mass Effect 1 and 2 and Crysis. The 3d effect is amazing in all of them. I've showed them to a number of friends and amazed them all. I have system running some PNY 9800GTX+ in dual SLI and haven't had any trouble with graphic performance at 1600 X 1050 which is the highest supported by the games I have as far as I know.

Cons: Some of the games have some weird side effects. In Crysis, when you face the water you see double renderings of the gun and anything that is between you and the water. Also, some of the symbology in the games, such as reticles and other indicators can be distracting. You can find ways to turn them off in most games. You also have to play with the setting in some games to get them looking good. Dynamic shadows enabled will really make the game look weird. Finally, in scenes with high contrast, sometimes you get a little ghosting. Overall, if your willing to spend some adjusting some settings, not a con at all. I expect most of these issues will be fixed as 3d vision type gaming gets popular.

Other Thoughts: The drivers were a pain to set up. Nvidia claims the new 260 drivers have everything with them to get SLI working. Not so. I had to install the drivers that came on the CD instead of the updated ones on the website to get it working. The install could really be a lot more painless.

Pros: The 3D effect in games is awesome. The Beta of Medal of Honor was incredible in 3D.

Cons: If you're expecting things to "pop out" at you, don't. The 3D effect applies only to depth. So you're games will appear to sink into the screen, rather than come closer to you. I did notice some slight flickering from the speed of the glasses. The higher refresh rates of the future will help with this. Some games, especially older ones, will have items on the screen that will not go 3D, such as crosshairs and scopes. You will see double of these items.

Other Thoughts: These are great for right now, but I really look forward to monitors with 240 Hz refresh rates and glasses with 120 Hz refresh rates. That will completely kill any flashing or strobing effects of the glasses on your eyes.

Pros: I downloaded the drivers before the glasses arrived. So I just hooked up the IR emmiter and ran the setup wizard. I was running in 3d within minutes. World of Warcraft is amazing. Nvidia lists the games currently supported. Best investment this year.

Cons: Glasses look a little funny. I do not wear classes except sun glasses. It will take time to get used to them.

Other Thoughts: I upgraded my video to EVGA GTX 460 and run most games at max setting with no issues. No driver issues. No noticable eye strain. Glasses need to be recharged with usb cable every 40 hours of game play. Charge time is 3 to 4 hours. Well worth it.

Pros: Whoa...I am doing 3D Blu-Ray Encoding and Authoring and these are the best for previewing and playing back MVC encodes. Sports in 3D is the coolest thing ever.
