5 out of 5 eggsamazing backplate

Pros: Amazing easy to install comes with all the stuff in the box screws, even a perfect and amazing installation manual with pics, so any granny can install it.

Cons: not any cons here, looks great its not aluminium its some werd material very nice tho kinda like a carbon fiber, it bends a bit, but looks like metal.

Other Thoughts: great product usefull, and changes the whole look on the card looks just sick as f******* guys.

5 out of 5 eggsSexy

Pros: Nice and sleek

Cons: Sad that it wasn't included w/ the 780

Other Thoughts: You really don't need this but if you have the extra cash it definitely complements the card

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Looks good

Cons: I bought two of these for my Titans and thought I would get the same quality but it would say 780 for my 780 ACX. I was wrong. This backplate is REALLY thin, probably 33% thinner than my titan backplates. I'd say if your card starts to bend so will this plate.

5 out of 5 eggsLooks great!

Pros: Looks awesome. Helps with temps for with the memory on the other side of the card. Also helps protect the card on the top.

Cons: No cons. It helps out the card a little so don't see how there could be any.

Other Thoughts: It's nothing really needed but if you want to protect the back of the card and help with memory temps a little then this will do the job.

4 out of 5 eggsNice but should be included for free

Pros: Adds to the aesthetics of the GTX 780. Adds stability to the component. Helps dissipate heat away from the PCB.

Cons: Doesn't come with the needed screwdriver which was annoying. It requires a T6 bit driver to remove the stock screws so I had to search for one. But the replacement screws are phillips head screws fortunately. I don't like how the backplate wasn't included for free. Yet they are giving them out for free to GTX 780 buyers. Makes no sense how people spending MUCH LESS money are being rewarded with Metro LL and free backplates. We spend $650 and we get nothing.

Other Thoughts: This is a good buy and you will be pleased with the final look of the card once it's installed. If it was included for free and they gave you a cheap mini screwdriver with a T6 bit it would of got 5 stars from me.

5 out of 5 eggsA Must Have for 780 Owners

Pros: Does exactly what it claims:
-Looks awesome
-Protects components on the back of the card and allows you to handle the card without touching the PCB itself
-Adds rigidity to the card to help prevent flexing

Cons: EVGA makes you buy this separately even for their custom ACX 780s, which I think is silly. This should be included in all custom cards.

Other Thoughts: My only real complaint with my pair of EVGA GTX 780 SC cards was that they didn't have a backplate, so I picked up a pair of these ASAP and couldn't be happier. I love how GPUs look with a backplate and I like being able to handle the card without touching components on the back of the PCB. The cards also are more rigid and flex less when installed, which is a good thing.

I do think these should have been included with all non-stock cards EVGA sells, but the $25 price is pretty much irrelevant if you've already shelled out $650+ for the graphics card in the first place.
