1 out of 5 eggsBogus

Pros: None

Cons: To the reviewer who gave this product 3 eggs, under the heading, "know your facts":

When using a PC to process or create high end audio or video, any incoming audio and video signals are digitized before entering the PC. Similarly, processed audio and video leaves the PC in digital form. So there there is no possibility that this product could improve on audio or video noise levels.

1 out of 5 eggsBuy a better PSU instead!

Pros: I'll bet HIS makes a great profit on this.

Cons: Worst way to spend $100 on your computer. A complete waste of money.

Other Thoughts: Spend the $100 on a better PSU instead. This way all of your components will benefit from the stability of a quality power supply.

5 out of 5 eggsPromotion Time

Pros: From HIS's management's perspective:

Let's say that newegg is only collecting a meager $4.99 to cover overhead & profit on these cards and that they really cost $60 to buy from HIS, shipping & handling included. Someone at HIS probably thought up made thousands of these for $5 each...$10 absolute tops including packaging.

The dude that designed and sold a product that does absolutely nothing while making a 400% return on his company's investment (remember that shipping & handling is done by volume, not weight) should receive an employee of the year award! Seriously, promote the dude to CEO for his incredible ability to sell polluted air to the masses.

Cons: From a consumer's standpoint:

I'm sure that anyone who has "invested" their money into this product has the standpoint that the guy that developed this should be flogged while being drug around by his toenails behind a rabid bull.

Other Thoughts: I just farted?

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Buy this if you have a pci-e so and you want to fill every single slot on your motherboard thinking your motherboard likes being filled.

Cons: Useless because PCI Express is digital. At least you can make it low profile and while your at it make a pci agp and isa version of it too.

Other Thoughts: I brought this product some place other then newegg.

1 out of 5 eggsSnake oil

Pros: Has six capacitors, rather than four or seven or two. Fits in slot.

Cons: See other thoughts

Other Thoughts: PCI-E lanes are electrically isolated from each other. Any noise cleanup that would occur would be confined to that slot, even if this product worked. Digital video with "noise" would result in massive artifacts or a black signal, as digital video has to be perfect to be displayed properly (your computer is not a TV, you don't get picture "noise"). This product is snake oil through and through, and probably a way for HIS to make money on all their old electrolytic capacitors: solder them onto a giant piece of fiberglass and sell them.

1 out of 5 eggsIf this isnt a scam...

Pros: None. If you need what this card does, APC does the job ALOT better.

Cons: It exists? See Pros.

Other Thoughts: This is just an on-bus power conditioner. Lets examine the ways this is not for any living human being:
If you need it, you have bigger problems. Scale back on the case fans, and get a better PSU.
If your PSU is fine, then your line voltage needs work. get a good UPS or line power conditioner.
If those don't solve your problems, try properly matching your cards to your motherboard.
If that STILL doesn't solve your problem, then you are doing some freaky stuff.

3 out of 5 eggsKnow your facts.

Pros: For a Video/Sound editor this is a 5star product. This removes some of the noise that is in the PCI-e power coming though the motherboard from the PSU. Is the hardware worth the money, no, is it worth the money to make a $10,000 video that much better, yes.

Cons: For your average user it is a waste of money and a PCI-e 1x slot.

Other Thoughts: The name does not fit the product, this removes noise from the PCI-e Power, thus helping everything that is plugged into PCI-e that can be affected including Video and Sound Cards. This is not any form of inline Video Signal Noise Reducer, even though that is a sideaffect of it.

Cons: Everything. This is such a waste of money I cannot believe Newegg would even sell this! It does NOTHING.... Just a bunch of cheap caps andresistors soldered onto a card! PLEASE do not waste your money.
