You don't need to use both molex connectors either. I have two of these and one molex to each of them as well as 2 pci-e connectors from my power supply for my crossfire set-up Cons: wish you could get rid of the extra molex connector. Other Thoughts: i have two 6870 which don't really require two pci-e 6 pin connectors but if you were running two nvidia cards or other cards that need more power you might need both molex connectors to supply the right amount of juice.
