5 out of 5 eggsGreat deal on an ADP adapter

Pros: -The adapter is more slimlined than most other ADP adapters.
-The adapter seems to hold more snugly on the video card than the powercolor one
- Feels lighter, but holds stronger - definitely good when dealing with heavy wires

Cons: - Single link DVI (Only a con because DVI cables and connectors are heavy, and pull on video card connection over time)

Other Thoughts: I've only had it about 2 weeks, but already it seems to function better than the powercolor model I owned for approximately 2 years so that I could run my dual cards in eyefinity (3 screens as one) It refreshes quicker. The build quality feels a little less durable, however, it's performance has shown this to be false. Dollar for dollar, this is the one to go with, hands down.. Get it if you're running eyefinity. Period. Don't bother with the other. It went bad at one of the most inopportune times possible. I highly suggest picking up two, just in case - at this price, you can't really go wrong having a backup..

1 out of 5 eggsInitially worked, failed after 6 months

Pros: Worked flawlessly on initial setup. Windows 7 recognized third display.

Cons: Failed after 6 months. Adapter still recognized by OS, but it no longer passes signal to monitor. Confirmed with second monitor and DVI cable.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

This is Raymond from PowerColor. We apologize for the issue that you faced with the connector. Please go to our website and submit a RMA. We can get you a replacement.

Best Regards,
Raymond

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: - Works as intended
- Solid construction, and snug fitting connector

Cons: - The screws to tighten it onto the GPU are hard to use because you can't get your fingers on it and even using a precision screwdriver you need to use it at a funny angle

Other Thoughts: No hassles whatsoever with this product other than tightening it down. I would recommend this product.

5 out of 5 eggsGood product

Pros: Powers up the 3rd monitor I wanted for Eyefinity 5760x1080. Works seamlessly with my 7870 display port.

Cons: This isn't really a con but one egg loss to Newegg for "Rush Processing" taking over 24 hours and then shipping it 3 day with OnTrac, probably the worst shipper in the world. My rushed 3 day order took 5 days and seriously ticked me off.

Other Thoughts: Don't use OnTrac.

5 out of 5 eggsWas looking to enable eyefinity on a 7770 Radeon

Pros: Being an Active Adapter I was able to get all three video sources (DVID-DVID-DPort) working on one card, Eyefinity is amazing.

Cons: The Radeon 7770 should be able to support 4 displays. I mean, they gotta know right? YOu give us ports... we goona use em'

Other Thoughts: I am highly pleased with this device.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as it should

Pros: - Cheap
- Works as it should
- Seems durable

Cons: - None so far

Other Thoughts: I was unsure if this was an active adapter or not because Eyefinity wasn't working correctly. I figured it out after awhile and realized it's just the Eyefinity feature. So far it seems to be working as it should. We'll see how long it lasts. Some people have said not too long, others a good length.

5 out of 5 eggsNot a lot to say...

Pros: It works excellently.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: It's a cable. It works. Not really anything else to say about it other than I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to get a third monitor attached to their system.

1 out of 5 eggsBeware of faulty product

Pros: Easy to use. Efficient at its job while it did work

Cons: I used this for a little over a year and never moved it or touched it while it was being used. As of Sunday, it no longer works and I'm left with a useless monitor. Like many others who have left reviews here, it looks like I am out of luck and simply stuck with a low quality product that has ran its course. I tried emailing the support employees who have posted below and have gotten no response.
