Pros: Worked perfectly with Windows Vista Media Center and my setup. I am using with a Dish Network receiver passing through to my computer. All the features are supported and the conversion is crisp and clear. DVR works really well. I have not had any issues with software compatability or usability (which honestly freaks me out with this being a Vista Machine).
Cons: I have not encountered any problems yet, though I have not used the HD tuner capability yet.
Other Thoughts: Did not have to use AverMedia's software as my computer had Window's Media Center already on it.

Pros: Hooked up to a Laptop running as a media center. Great quality picture, low load on the computer, changes channels quick.
Cons: -none-
Other Thoughts: Use the CD to install if you can. For some reason the drivers on the disk are newer than the ones on the website.

Pros: Its pretty affordable for the designed intent. It is "Vista Certified"...so it worked while in regular Windows mode.
Cons: Couldn't get it to work/not recognized while in Media Center Mode. Customer service is a joke; they rarely pick up the phone and their advice to fix my problem was to reinstall drivers and if that didn't work google some forums to find the fix. That was the answer I got 3 different times. I have tried all sorts of file/driver downloads, MS/laptop manufacturer tech support and no joy. They also didn't honor my $20 mail in rebate sending me a letter saying it wasn't for my UPC yet I have the rebate form that was printed out through NewEgg!
Other Thoughts: After I tried everything I could find for about 3 weeks straight I gave up trying to make it work while in MC mode. With all the changes it stopped working with the provided software and I tried fixing that for another 2 weeks. I'l wait until I buy another pc and see if it works there.

Other Thoughts: This is my second Avermedia tuner (also have the M780) and I think that Avermedia makes a great tv tuner for $$$
