VIA-chipset may have problem with older MoBo.

Pros: Since the usb connections never worked for me, I have to say "none" -- but their tech-support DID relate to me that the VIA-chipset could be incompatible with my older ASUS MoBo (also VIA-chipset).
Cons: I spent about 2-weeks researching possible problems and solutions. It turns out (both on web-queries and by contacting Zonet TechSupport) that the VIA-chipset is sometimes incompatible with older MoBo, like my A7N266-VN MoBo.
Other Thoughts: NewEgg CustomerService allowed me to upgrade to a ALI-chipset usb-card and it is working perfectly. So NewEgg "fixed" it with proper customer service !!!

Pros: It's a small card that does not take up much space in my case so that helps cut airflow restriction to other parts. Works good with Windows XP. Seems to be fast for the price.
Cons: NO DRIVER FOR WINDOWS VISTA!!!!!!!! :(
Other Thoughts: I just upgraded my system and used Win Vista 64 for an OS and found out this card is now worthless to me unless they make new drivers which I doubt will ever happen judging by Zonets websites lack of content. Oh, they do have a nice picture of the product but have never had a driver update since its release....

Other Thoughts: Installed this unit in my Dell Dimension B110 back in August 2006, and it's worked great ever since! In response to the reviewer who stated that this unit doesn't work in Vista, be aware that this unit DOES work under the 32-bit version of Vista.
