I use a Macbook Pro and an Alienware...I have a couple of these(different models) and just a tech kinda guy...BTW...NEWEGG ROCKS, been a customer for A LONG TIME :D Cons: Wish I wasn't a sucker for technology...lol Other Thoughts: Remember, technology CAN BE TRICKY/FAULTY...if it doesn't work then A) You did not do your research B) You do not know what you are doing C) Defective Product/bad cables/or some other issue D) All the above Just having fun.....no issues here :D 0 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Includes all needed cables. Compact hardware. Cons: Mac software not on CD. Requires USB port for power. Other Thoughts: Thunderbolt and Mini Display ports supply power so there's no real reason to require a separate power source. That being said, why use USB to power the unit? I would much prefer a dedicated power source so as not to consume a port on my computer. Aside from that (admittedly minor) gripe, this thing is great! 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.
