The SUNIX USB2311C add-on card instantly adds one USB 3.1 Type-C port to your desktop PC. Compliant with the latest USB 3.1 standard, this card provides up to 10Gbps theoretical transfer rate and maintains compatibility with legacy standards including USB 3.0, 2.0, and 1.1. It's based on PCIe Gen3 x1 interface for fast speed and compatibility with slots of various PCIe lanes.

What makes the Type-C connector unique is its reversible plug design. Both sides of the connector are same, allowing for reversible plug orientation and eliminating the trouble of second try when plugging in. The Type-C connector also boasts higher power output capacity (up to 5VDC@3000mA for this card) to drive demanding USB devices. Over Current protection is also built in for maximum protection.

Please Note:

To comply with status of most motherboard’s available PCIex1 expansion slot, USB2312C adopts the PCIe Gen3/x1 (8Gb/s) interface connector design. However, most PC system does not support PCIe Gen3 specification, but only PCIe Gen2x1 (5Gb/s) performance. So that SUNIX USB2312C could not sport full-power performances (10Gb/s).

Reversible Plug Orientation The Type-C connector sports reversible plug orientation and cable direction, which means that users will no longer need to be concerned with plug orientation/cable direction, making it easier to plug in.
High Power Output The USB port supplies maximum +5VDC / 3000mA power output to USB device.
Over Current Protection Built-in over current protection on the USB port delivers maximum protection.
