1 out of 5 eggsNever worked

Pros: Never got this to work using suggested drivers and software with or without windows media center using windows Visa, 7 and 8 64 and 32 bit.

Cons: Amazing that I never got a picture of any kind or any channels found. wasted trying to use it with every operating system I upgraded to.

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible for OTA

Pros: small

Cons: Doesn't even tune any of my channels that my AVerMedia AVerTVHD Duet picks up. Tried different USB ports, different cables, and different drivers, nothing worked. Using a OTA rooftop antenna and WMC7

1 out of 5 eggsNo serial number

Pros: Unusable

Cons: The instruction paper inside the product box says there is a serial number of the software TVCenter printed on a label of the sleeve of the disk, however, I can't find the serial number anywhere including the sleeve. No label anywhere at all.

3 out of 5 eggsNot as good as my ATI 750 (USB)

Pros: It really is tiny. Think USB thumb drive. Remote is tiny too. Tiny tiny.

Cons: Side by side comparison - does NOT pick up the signal (ATSC over the air) as well as my ATI 750 USB. I have a roof mounted antenna. The channels that my ATI tuner gets flawlessly, this PCTV mini tuner skips. Disappointing...

Other Thoughts: It advertises a better signal thru "Signal Booster"... Not sure if that's a reference to the included antenna (which is probably better than the antenna included with the ATI 750 USB). Clearly my ATI 750 picks up the signal better, even though it doesn't have "signal booster". Spend the extra $10 and get the ATI.

4 out of 5 eggsit does what it does for 20 bucks

Pros: the price slashed down to 20$, for 20 bucks to get some basic channels in hd is not too bad. i don't have any tv lines in my house since i do downloads or streaming mostly so this is really beneficial to me. i don't get much channels maybe like about 15 or so, and the antenna it comes with is a lil spotty and i live on the top most floor too.

Cons: the software/drivers out of the box for win 7 64 bit are no good at all... update via website and such.

Other Thoughts: out of the box it was basically not even working for win 7, til i downloaded drivers off it's site. thus the 4 stars instead of 5. b/c if i was less tech savvy i'd be out 20$.
the antenna strength also isn't all that... and i live on the top most floor of my condo.

5 out of 5 eggsUnbeliavable

Pros: Unbelivable works amazing great reception and at a price that can't be beat! I went to a local store and they were charging 80$!!!

Cons: none really except that to make it work I had to download the drivers from their website because windows 7 refused to install the unsigned ones but after that worked amazing!

Other Thoughts: go newegg!!!

3 out of 5 eggsWorks good but remote is missing

Pros: Works well with Windows 7 64-bit Media Center. Just install the device driver and set up with Windows Media Center. Very nice picture and able to pick up many channels.

Cons: The mini remote is missing from the box. The box was sealed so it is probably a mistake from the factory. I thought about returning it for exchange. I decided not to do it, I figured that the remote would probably not work since there is no sensor Windows on the tuner unit.

Other Thoughts: Deducted 2 stars because of missing remote control.
