5 out of 5 eggsCard Works Great!

Pros: Installed and SATA worked perfect. Had a little time getting the IDE to work, but finally installed the updated driver from the manufacturer which helped more than the disc they sent with the card.

Cons: Slightly difficult to get the IDE to work, but finally after an update from the manufacturer it is fully operational.

Other Thoughts: Will recommend this this card and will buy it again.

5 out of 5 eggsPurchased to add 2 new drives

Pros: After installing an updated driver from the manufacturer, this card worked perfectly. Purchased to add 2 drives and have flexibility to add 2 more for future use if needed. Would buy this card again.

Cons: Driver CD has outdated drivers which do not activate the IDE port. After updating the driver with the correct driver. The card worked great.

Other Thoughts: This card is perfect if you wish to add drives to a system already running. It will NOT boot from due to the lack of a BIOS of it's own. I've noticed how some tried to boot from drives on this card. That won't happen. This is only to give more storage space.

4 out of 5 eggshard to beat for the price

Pros: works fine with IDE hard drives

Cons: I was hoping this would have better legacy support, however when I plugged in an IDE Zip drive and accessed the disk, instant blue screen of death each time. I do not recommend planning to use a CD/DVD or Zip drive or anything not a hard drive on this card.

Other Thoughts: I have a similar card with possibly the same chipset in my other computer and it seems to work exactly the same as I expected, with the exception of the Zip Drive thing...

5 out of 5 eggsworks

Pros: Worked for flashing xbox 360 DVD drives.

Cons: None I could see.

Other Thoughts: I only used it for flashing Xbox 360 DVD drives so for that it works well. As far as using it for a disc or hard drive I haven't used it for that so you might want to read others reviews on that front.

4 out of 5 eggsSY-VIA-150

Pros: DOES THE JOB FOR ME, WITHOUT HAVING TO DO A RAID SETUP. MORE OR LESS "A PLUG & PLAY" DEVISE, HAVE NOT TRIED 2 DRIVES ON IT YET, I'M SURE IT WILL WORK THO.
I'M GOING TO BUY ANOTHER ONE FOR ANOTHER PC. THIS CARD WORKS FOR ME.

Cons: I HAVE NOT FOUND ANY YET, I ONLY HAVE IT ON 1 PC AND ITS
(THE PC) A RECORDING MACHINE, I ONLY HAVE LIKE 5 RUNNING PROGRAMS ON IT. NO WINDOWS UPDATES, NO LAN,
NO NOTHING,EXCEPT WINDOWS XP PRO AND MY RECORDING
INTERFACE AND HARDWARE.

Other Thoughts: I WOULD BUY THIS CARD AGAIN.

2 out of 5 eggsDoesn't Boot

Pros: Does generally what it's supposed to...

Cons: Cannot boot from it on a Dell Dimension 2400. The card apparently doesn't have the BIOS needed to boot.

5 out of 5 eggsCheap but works great..

Pros: Installed this and connected 1 SATA 100gb hdd for a backup and 1 IDE dvd-rom for backup. Both drives seem to work great without any problems. No software needed for installation. Windows 7 recognized and installed it successfully.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Not bad for the price. I will buy again.
