Other Thoughts: According to the instructions, you must have windows update ( correct the incorrect drivers installed ).

Pros: Newegg, as always was prompt with sending and since I really didn't need this item, I returned it and I was reimbursed immediately.

Pros: Cheap, easy to install.

Cons: should've tested it right away; first problem was that connecting devices had no effect; now finding that connecting a device is causing the system to halt or blue screen (Win7 SP1)

Other Thoughts: when power is connected a red light is emitted, not sure if this is good or bad; the manual doesn't say; will order a different brand; next time I'll test it right away.

Pros: 4-Pin internal power connector, durable, plug n play (windows 7) and the connections are firm, usb cables do not wiggle around. I love this and would recommend it to anyone looking for a 4 port powered usb pci-e adapter.

Cons: None. Would by from Syba again.

Other Thoughts: If I purchase another add-on card that Syba offers, I will take it over another cheaper product (which may be hard to come by)

Pros: Good cheap card

Cons: This card is junk, installed it ok, hook up 2 externel hard drives and it saw them and started to disconnect from them, couldnt even hook up a mouse with out of a lot of hassle.

Other Thoughts: I would say dont buy this cheap card you will have nothing but issues with it, wound up hooking evrything up to orginal usb ports, will look for a better card.

Please test a USB device without any other device connected to the USB port. Also, test on other USB ports on the card.

If an unstable connection happened only when two external hard disk were connected, we would like to know if both external hard drives are also connected with AC power adapters for power. This card also has a power booster. Please also have the Molex power connected to the card. This will greatly improve the connection if the USB device connected to this card consumes a lot of power.

Pros: So easy that anyone with a screw driver and some common sense can handle it. Perfect plug and play. Nothing to do.

Other Thoughts: Some cards I have looked at looked flimsy and cheap. This is good quality and fits nice and snug. Installed, turned on computer, waited a moment and plugged in my devices. All works perfectly.

Other Thoughts: the moschip ehci controller on this card has a silicon bug. The microframe counter is updated before the frame counter...this can cause problems with the OS, see linux kernel patch as1489 for details

Pros: The card works perfectly on Mac OSX, didn't need to use the internal power at all.

Cons: Couldve used a 5th port outside or even a Firewire port, card sits a little high on my Mac Pro but still appropriate. Got charged $5.99 S&H when I had already ordered another item, don't understand why they do this when it's in the same box.

Other Thoughts: Ordered and received it next day, fast delivery with no extra charge. Happy to have 4 extra usable ports!

Pros: So far this card works like a champ.The install went very quickly and easie.Im running Windows7 and it installed with no problem.Deffently if you need extra ports like i did this card is for you.

Other Thoughts: Make sure you plug the power supply cable to it or some devices may not work well.

Pros: Motherboard usb ports went DOA on me, needed to try something have usb availability again....installed this card into a free PCI-express slot and off and running again...
