If I could give this minus stars I would. Other Thoughts: DO NOT BUY THIS!! Placed in my PCI slot, with every precaution possible. Completely fried my motherboard. PC is 100% non-operational. Does not turn on! Brand new ACER PC bought less then 30 days ago and is now dead from installing this card. GARBAGE - DO NOT BUY Will have to figure out how to return this disaster to new egg. Other Thoughts: One of the retaining screws on the mounting plate slipped out. I found it was stripped and will not hold. Downloads from my JVC MiniDV camcorder great. As easy as installing new memory. No drivers to install. Small Card so it doesn't block my AGP video card fan. Just Drop it in the PCI slot and away you go. Cons: No Firewire 800 support Other Thoughts: If you are unlucky enough to have a stripped down Mobo without on board firewire, this is the card for you.
