VisionTek 900340 Active DisplayPort to DVI-D Adapter

Pros: Well, it's an adapter. It displays. Works with Eyefinity. Nothing special.

Cons: None

Pros: Well made and well packaged for shipment. The flexibility of the cable is a good advantage unlike standard adapters.

Cons: none

Pros: Works like a champ. Haven't had any issues in the ~1 year I've had it.

Cons: The cable is kind of stiff.

Other Thoughts: Remember that there is a max resolution on this adapter. Most / all monitors with a higher resolution than its max will natively have a DPort slot anyway (which does support the higher resolutions)

Pros: Works like a charm with the Radeon HD 6870!

Cons: None so far. Cons are more towards the video card itself not allowing 3 HDMI on one card.

Pros: Works perfectly, allows me to have a 3 monitor set up. Im not particularly picky on little details, but I haven't had any issue with screen clarity while using this adapter, so I cant complain.

Pros: Works for doing triple-monitor on Dell 7010 onboard video.

Cons: With DisplayPort, once you put the monitors in the wrong order it takes alot of work to get them in the correct order in Windows 7.

Other Thoughts: Love my triple monitor.

Pros: We have been looking for a way to hook up 3 external monitors to our Dell laptops. The active DP-to-DVI dongles allow this and are a lot cheaper than those sold by Dell (~$100 each). Dell Precision 4600 or higher laptops with E-port Plus docking station allow 1 VGA connection and 2 Display Port connection. If you need all three active, you have to use "active" DP-to-DVI connectors.
This also works on Dell Optiplex 7010 desktops with only the onboard video cards (Intell HD 2500 - with 1 VGA and 2 DP connections).
We are using these in both setups and are happy with the results.

Cons: None at this point.

Pros: Lets me triple screen with my 6850 because I have all three screen connected to display port to dvi, HDMI and regular DVI

Cons: looked at other cheap converters and this one looked good.

Pros: Does what it's intended to do. Using to connect LCD computer monitor that only has VGA and DVI inputs to a video card with DisplayPort output.

Cons: None yet.

Pros: Worked well for about a week

Cons: Broke after about a week of use.

Other Thoughts: I may be unlucky but I would buy a different one next time.
