1 out of 5 eggsPretty much sucks

Pros: None

Cons: Keyboard and mouse won't work on it. They assume new pc's have molex power connectors. Mine didn't. Had to buy an adapter cable. I didn't have a problem with the driver install, but my keyboard or mouse won't work at all. Printer and USB 3.0 external hard drive seem to be working.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA Stay away!

Pros: None

Cons: Pugged it into a Asrock Extreme 4 and installed the drivers. It does not work. Reinstalled it. Put the drivers in from the company website. It still does not work. It would be a waste of time and effort and money to RMA this little piece of garbage.

5 out of 5 eggsAs expected

Pros: It's fast, it's small, it's got four USB3 ports.

Cons: Why does something that's PCIE need extra power? It's not really a problem, I just expected more intelligently designed components by now.

Other Thoughts: The speeds are basically what USB3 is across the board. It also will max out the rate of any USB2 device pretty well.

1 out of 5 eggsDoesn't work

Pros: It didn't irrevocably destroy my computer.

Cons: Would not install in multiple computers running Windows XP (32 or 64 bit) or 7 x64. The driver installation program from their website (they do not supply a CD) would not load on Windows 7. Don't waste your money.

1 out of 5 eggsNot recommended.

Pros: Price vs. # of ports

Cons: For me, it does not work right out of the box. Installed in 2 different pci-e ports still have issues with USB devices not working as they should on every restart. Devises like keyboard stop working until I unplug/replug. I loaded drivers from manufacture and have the external power plugged in. For me its not been a plug and play device. Still goofing with it to see if I can get it working right... Don't really need USB 3.0 as I only have 1 device currently so not the end of the world that its not working right at this time.

3 year old Asus board with 4 PCI-e slots. 2 occupied by video and the last 2 are problematic with this card.

Other Thoughts: I can't recommend this to the average user as from my perspective the unit is not plug and play. It seems to be very finicky even on my high-end Asus board that is 3 years old.
