Pros: Works great, effortless installation.
Cons: A minor con is that you have to have an internal USB port available or buy a separate adapter to hook it up to your motherboard. No big deal for me because I had an internal port available.
Other Thoughts: Does what it should do, nothing fancy.

Pros: It looks nice.
Cons: DOA. No lights, Windows (XP SP3 and 7) reports unknown device. Tried connecting to several known good USB ports. $10 shipping plus an hour of my time to return - not worth the RMA.
Other Thoughts: Siig also offered a RMA if I paid shipping.

Pros: Four powered USB ports right up front w/o using those crummy external hubs that fall off the top of the computer or your desk. Easy to install. Instant setup with XP or Vista. Plenty of space between ports so your devices won't be crowded. I am buying another one.
Cons: You will need an internal USB port to connect this unit.
Other Thoughts: As others have said, you should already have, or buy, an internal USB card with a typical internal USB port to connect this to, otherwise you will find yourself running a cable out a slot to an external port. It also requires a floppy-style power connector (also known as a Berg connector). Power supplies usually have two of these, and most likely you don't have a floppy anymore, so that shouldn't be a problem.

Pros: Adds 4 USB ports to the front of your case. Looks ok and is very convenient.
Cons: I didn't realize that it had a regular USB 2.0 connector instead of an internal motherboard header connector. I had to buy an add-on card with an internal connector.
Other Thoughts: At first I cut a small hole into a pci slot cover and had the cord routed through it to a USB connector on the back of my motherboard. I thought it looked kind of cheesy so I looked for an add-on card with the internal connector and was suprised that they actually made them.

Rating: 5/5Rip out that floppy and put one of these in!

Pros: Easy to install. Plug and play with XP and Vista. Nice looking. Takes the place of an unused floppy drive. Has 5V power connector for reliable connectivity. Comes with all the cables you need.
Cons: Nothing really. See my other thoughts.
Other Thoughts: You may want to buy a USB card that has a standard connector on the interior. I bought one for 15 bucks at a local store. Otherwise you may find yourself looping a USB cable from the exterior to the interior of the case.

Pros: 4 powered ports up front of your PC. Works out of box with Windows Vista and Windows 7 with no setup or messing about.
Cons: A bit wobbly in my case - reason is that the case secures the 5.25>3.5 adapter only on the left side, so sticking in a USB device in the adapter makes it bend it the further right the port is. Doesn't REALLY matter, but if you have a case similar to mine, thought I'd put it out there.
Other Thoughts: Does what its supposed to. Cheap. Effective. What else do you need? My only thought would be that this product plugs into an existing usb port. If you don't have one inside your case, you'll have to route the input cable out the back IO plate and plug it in back there. Not really a big deal, but you are loosing a USB port that way. It would have been nicer if you could plug directly into the mobo USB outs. On the other hand, if you have one of the newer rear USB port cards, they now usually come with 4 external ports and one internal. Pick one of those up in conjunction with this one and you've got 8 high-speed ports, 4 front, 4 back, plus whatever your mobo/case have.

Pros: Works as advertised.
Cons: Power supply traces on circuit board fried when I plugged in a SATA drive on the power connector. Looks like they were not designed for such high current. I just used a wire and jumpered them.
Other Thoughts: Many many USB connectors (5 in total) and worse yet individual pin connectors (4 for each connector). That's 20 things you need to plug in.
