SIIG's DP FireWire PCIe is an excellent adapter card for you to connect multiple high-speed FireWire devices to your system. It is designed to easily add three FireWire 400 (1394a) ports (two external and one internal) to your PCI Express-enabled PC or Mac? desktop computer. It supports data transfer rates of up to 400 Mb/s, and allows you to hot-swap devices (connect and disconnect) without first turning your system off. This 3-Port dual profile FireWire adapter card comes with a spare low profile bracket for low profile system chassis installations. It is the most reliable and cost-effective solution to connect your high-speed FireWire devices such as DV camcorders, digital cameras, hard disk drive enclosures, and CD-RW/DVD-ROMs to your PC or Mac computer.

The DP FireWire PCIe is fully compatible with a wide variety of Windows and Mac OS operating systems and is backed by SIIG's limited 5-year warranty.

Booted up computer. Showed up perfectly. Set driver to legacy mode, because I'm buying a Focusrite Liquid 56. That worked perfect! When I get the interface, I will update. So far it works fine though. FAST SHIPPING Newegg! Cons: None so far...very smooth all the way. Once I get this interface, I'll test it out.
